   Wow, the portions and flavor were amazing. I rarely have dessert and the almond cake with ice cream was scooped up. The pork skewers had a good sear and seasoned well. The pisa is one of my favorites - I could eat it every day.

   We were at Estragon Saturday, March 18, for our daughter's 15th birthday. It was also Restaurant Week. Our server was amazing, and the entire staff was so attentive - truly a team effort. The food was amazing, especially the chocolate mousse and churros for dessert. Loved our night there.

   A group of us came to celebrate our friend's birthday. The food was good and the portion was good and better than some other tapas places we have been to around Boston. Max, our server was great! The owner served us delicious pork ears on the house.

    The food is very good. The portions a bit smal; it is an inconvenient sharing plates for two o three people; you must order two portions of each at least!

    The blue cheese stuffed dates were the highlight. Definitely get the tapas toasts- those were the best items with the dates. The red sangria is worth a try. Definitely make reservations!!

    Truly wonderful evening at Estragon. We flew in from Raleigh for the weekend and are so happy that we discovered Estragon. Truly the perfect meal to start our weekend in Boston with. Our waiter was so lovely and shared his love of Boston with us and truly made us feel so welcome as everyone did. My daughter spent time living in Seville so having such great tapas at Estragon was a trip down memory lane. Fabulous cocktails too! After a busy week - that first sip of the Fig Old Fashioned with that amazing Serrano ham and manchego was the perfect pairing!! Gorgeous wall papers and great lighting with some great music in the background made for a lovely ambience! Thank you Estragon for such a warm welcome! Definitely looking forward to coming back when our daughter is living up here in the summer.

    We went for a 6pm reservation and had a wonderful meal and a delicious cocktail (hibiscus margarita). It was February 4th and a record cold day in Boston, if there was ever a day to put the heat on it was that day. Instead we sat in our winter hats never able to get warm. We hit the bathroom on the way home and you could see your breath in the cold bathroom. I’d go back for the food but in the summer

    Excellent service - EXTREMELY quiet (Monday night) with only 1-2 other parties in the restaurant while we were there. Food was very good - of the 4 of us, we each had different favorites. The desserts were fantastic!

    Estragon was lively, and our server was polite and informative (steering us to an excellent wine). The food and drinks came at a good pace. We had just enough time to savor the last bit when the next came. They change their menu here and there, enough so that you can enjoy an old favorite while being encouraged to try something new. I heartily recommend it if you want an entertaining evening where the food enhances the conversation!

    The only reason why I didn't give this place 5 starts for ambience is that I was surprised that it wasn't more crowded on a Saturday night. This was the Saturday that was one week after New Year's so maybe that's a slow restaurant night? Cocktails were delicious, server was lovely, menu is varied and interesting. We loved everything we got, especially the chickpeas, shrimp, and artichoke tapas. The decor is quirky and fun. It was mostly full when we arrived at 7 and by 9 it was a lot slower. When we left after 10 it was nearly empty. It's a bit off the beaten path as far as other restaurants in the South End, but well worth a visit! The more folks who go, the more the ambience will get a lift!

    This was a superb meal. The small plate was a fun way to share and to try several different foods. The flavors though were unreal. They were very complex and well balanced.

    We love Estragon, been going here for 10+ years. Best little known gem of a restaurant in Boston, tell everyone I know to go. Sahil makes the best drinks, Brian is always super friendly and helpful with the menu. Can’t say enough about the place.

    Lots of good vegetarian choices. The crispy (fried) artichoke hearts were great. Try to be seated in the smaller bar area with the library shelves - more intimate, nice ambiance.

    Dining at Estragon is always a joy! Authentic and delicious Spanish tapas offerings (there is always at least one dish I've eaten that I then try and replicate at home); and with enough variety to satisfy all tastes and palates and preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, meat and fish lovers, etc. And coupled with an awesome food experience is their wonderfully welcoming and knowledgeable staff, ready to answer any questions, and very responsive (but not intrusive). Thanks for always being a great dining destination!

    Love this place, staff and owners and Isabel are great, but the food is so inconsistent. We've been there when it is just great and then the other night..so so. Things were overcooked and also came out so sporadically. Well acquainted with tapas and how they are served, but it seemed like maybe the kitchen was overwhelmed? We want to come back, wine is wonderful, you never feel rushed, they are very generous but food?? Writing this just as a customer who has been there many times and wants to come back.
