                  Le Rendezvous is such an iconic establishment in Tucson. The waitstaff is exceptional, attentive and engaging. Being a cook myself, it's difficult to find places that consistantly deliver great food but you can bet on a memorable meal here. It's, by far, the best French restaurant in Tucson.

                  Delivers in all ways that sets it apart from all of the other restaurants in our “ gastro” city. We try to hold it out for special occasions but, perhaps, we should incorporate it into our more frequent repertoire. With a call ahead, they made our favorite French dessert ( or at least one of our favorites ). Thank you.

                  Great food and service. Located in sketchy area. Ambiance didn’t match caliber of food. Decor was lacking and aged. Knew we were having a special occasion but did not do anything to make it more special.

                  Always a pleasant evening at Le Rendez-vous with attentive servers. Rather quieter over summer which our group welcomed. Tried various items from the (tres petite) sampler plates and can recommend the mini Wellington, mussels and salade de betteraves. Might pass on the seared salmon en croute. Soup de jour vichysoise and l'oignon gratinee both very good. One had le mignons de veau au calvados which were delicious! Desserts were crepes suzette and chocolate souffle. Crepes definitely the superior option.

                  Le Rendezvous is an historical Tucson Gem. The service is impeccable. The food is delicious. The beet salad and the pear salad both with goat cheese are a perfect first course. But the headlining star is the steak au poivre vert with he delicious potatoes and vegetables is served hot and perfect to your doneness. Of course it wouldn't be perfection without the magnificent Grand Marnier Souffle.
