    The food was not at the level of Jose Garcis that was delicious and prepared perfectly. The empanadas were very greasy, oily. Scallops were nothing special. Disappointing.

    This was our first time dining at Amada. We had a party of 10. Our table was in the back which was perfect. Our server was amazing. The dishes came out perfectly timed and warm. The food was fabulous… we loved everything. Personal favorites were the lamb meatballs, crab stuffed peppers, the Wagu and the paella with chicken and mussels. Perfect night!!

    The experience from beginning to end was phenomenal. Out waitress Gia, had great recommendations for both tapas and wine, and really made the night perfect.

    Went to brunch here with my friend from out of town. We did the combo . Everything was amazing. Not one miss. Sangria pancakes and duck confit Rosti were our mains. 10/10. the apps and sides were splendid as well

    Our friends had never been to Amada and they loved it. I’m sure they’ll go back with their friends. Two of us got the Pernil, good as always. The bacon wrapped dates were SO good. Chorizo was a little bit tougher than I remember, but still delicious. We’ve gone to Amada to celebrate and just have date night over the years. We will always go back.

    Amada treated us like family! My friends and I attended for my birthday dinner and they gave us complimentary plates, sang happy birthday, and gave us the best service I have ever experienced! I will be telling everyone I know about this restaurant and will definitely be back again! The food was also amazing!

    My wife and i had a very nice experience. Our server Cory was knowledgeable and attentive. Selections were delicious, our favorites were the cheese platter and wagu steak. We will be back.

    The food was exceptional. The lentils were well seasoned and the steak was perfectly cooked, tender and lean. The wine was perfectly balanced. The noise level was a problem and the tables were very close together.

    It was a good experience from the host, bartender and server and even the food runners. It’s been a very long time since we were here and the food and service are still awesome. I wish we got a birthday desert though. Cody was a great server and the chef sampler was delicious.

    The food was superb, I especially enjoyed the garlic shrimp, my companions the flatbread and patatas bravas. The sherry was excellent, and service was prompt and friendly. The bill was reasonable, considering the quality of the food, drink and service. Unfortunately by 7 the noise level was too high for my table of 3 to enjoy much conversation. The staff did try to accommodate us, and Amada has been better than many places, but still.

    Amazing food that brought us back to our trip to Spain. Service was sub-par. The check was dropped off after we had only eaten one bite of our dessert and made us feel extremely rushed.

    Haven’t been back to Amada PHL in a while. Tonight most definitely, felt like it wasn’t the Amada it once was. Food - everything was under seasoned and lack of flavor. We ordered at least 12 items. Carne y Queso: Jamon Serrano was cut too thick. Manchego w/ Truffled Lavender Honey (why??) this was extremely polarizing and overwhelming. Piquillos (Crab Stuffed Peppers): meh… Gambas al Ajillo: shrimp was extremely fishy, lack of garlic flavor and just salt. Pulpo: probably the most acceptable out of everything we ordered. Tortilla Espanola: potato & egg ratio was not balanced. Missing onion flavor or no onion at all. Croquetas de Jamon: potato wasn’t creamy at all. 6/10 Croquetas de Trufa: I don’t get this, sliver of scallop and fake caviar. 4/10 Setas (Mushroom): 7/10. Would’ve been better with 63°C Egg (Jammy Yolk). Calamar: has potential but missing flavor, it says with sofrito but felt like it needed more. Sweet Peas: 8/10 Delicata Squash: 7/10 Padron Pepper: 7/10 Zarzuela: 6.5/10 Pernil:8/10 Paella: no soccarat on the paella missing flavor. Didn’t look like and taste like a real paella. Ambiance: Stuffy restaurants (maybe need more positive air and better HVAC, leaving the restaurant smelling like fryer oil.). Trash overflowing in bathroom! Supposedly mice droppings in the corner of where we sat by the lamp. Service: inattentive and did not feel personable, lack of connection with guests. Table manners need more training.

    We went for my sister’s birthday on Black Friday and we had a wonderful experience. The tapas were excellent with attentive service and the dinner overall was reasonably priced for the quality. I will definitely return!

    We love this restaurant. We particularly enjoyed the lamb meatballs and garlic shrimp from the traditional tapas menu. Amada also has a great wine list.

    The food to dollar value was poor. Most items intended to stuff you with things like potatoes, greens. The only “meat items” in the tasting menu were the last course (chicken) & some tiny lamb stuffed pastry like concoction. Final price was equal, if not more than, ordering off the a la carte menu, which we should have done.

    We arrived on time but had to wait 15 minutes for our table to be vacated. No problem, it is a very busy place and the tables are too close together. Our row of tables for two were at most 14 inches apart. Food was very good, the roast pork is excellent. We'll be be back.

    The evening got off to a bit of a rough start in that Amada was ill-prepared to welcome a handicapped member of our party who uses a wheelchair. After many apologies and assurances that problems with accessibility would be corrected, the 4 of us had an superb dinner with excellent service . Amada more than made up for the rough start. Kudos to the General Manager for his handling of the situation.

    We were offered from the menu either ‘a la carte’ tapas or the ‘tasting menu’. It was so difficult to choose so we ordered the tasting menu. So glad we did! It was spectacular! Looking forward to the opportunity to go back.
