Avenida Brazil stays true to the foundations of the traditional Brazilian churrascaria. We offer a world class upscale dining experience with several of the finest cut meats, amazing side dishes, desserts and a full bar that includes red & white wines from across the globe.

The experience is split up into two parts

Part 1: Salad Bar - After being seated, guests can help themselves to our gourmet salad bar stocked with more than 30 fresh items.

Part 2: Meat - At each of our seats, we include a coaster with a red side and a green side. Once back at their table, guests can start signaling our gauchos (meat servers) by flipping over the coaster to the red side. This indicates that the guest is ready to enjoy the 13+ succulent meats, which include lamb, beef, chicken, and fish. As an accent to the meat, we provide five delicious side dishes.

We enjoy this place, we love to take our friends out to this place. Every time we come we receive outstanding servers. This last time we took longer we did not realize the time, they were closing they were so polite and nice they never rush us out. What I was mostly impress is how all the employees were able to grab a plate and eat. We are business owners we love to see other business that take care of their employees. We will continue to be regulars here. I recommend this place to everyone

Great experience! Food was served fast, as soon as we were done more food was offered, the same as drinks. I would really recommend to reduce a little bit the drinks offers, the same waiter asked us the same thing over and over and got a little bit uncomfortable, once he asked about drinks and not even 30 seconds later came back again when we have said already no. We even told the waiter that we will have drinks but not right now. But besides that, the rest of the service was amazing, the ambience spot on, and the food was delicious.

Was not impressed with the flavor of the lamb chops. Had a “gamey” taste or lemon pepper taste was too strong. All the meats had no seasoning. Just taken out of the package and cooked. Asked for medium filet Mignon and it was overcooked all the way through or cooked well on one side and medium to medium rare on the other. There was a table next to us with a previous employee and the waitstaff always went to their table first (showing them favoritism/preference) over ours. Even though my husband would say he wanted more of a specific meat from waitstaff, they would go to that table first. I only went there because I won a dinner for two from there at an auction. Probably, would not go back. Don’t eat $65 worth of food either.

A family with young children were very loud and running around. The parents did nothing to control the children. The music was very loud and the genre did not fit the romantic setting of the restaurant. This restaurant has really gone downhill in the last year. The management is terrible and most of the service staff just don’t care. At the salad bar, we could hear cat meowing coming from the kitchen. At $62 a person the ambiance and service should be considered as part of the value, not just the food.

My wife and I have eaten before several times and we have had a great experience. This day the meat selections were slow coming out and they were over cooked plus the sides were room temperature. It just was not what we have experienced in the past unfortunately. I guess we all are allowed to have not so great times in our life so hopefully they just had an off day.

Didn't recognize many of the faces during our visit the other day. The person who seemed like he was in charge felt it necessary to cite all the rules about sharing and not sharing even after I explained that we'd been there many times. I had the salad bar and my husband had the regular dinner service. It was totally unnecessary and felt condescending. I didn't hear him explain that to anyone else around us. Our waiter must've been very new--not friendly or knowledgeable.

Worse Brazilian restaurant we have been, and I have gone to every single one of them in Houston, salad bar is horrible, all the meats undercooked, will never go back! People how can you rate this place 4.5? I guess you’ve never been to Chana Gaucha or Fogo or Tourão, BBQ di Brazil and on and on, don’t waste your money going here! Oh and if you are celebrating a special occasion don’t even bother, they won’t acknowledge, should have paid attention when the hostess said “ oh wow that’s the first”

We took my brother there for his birthday and participated in Houston's restaurant week. My husband was very off standish to going to a Brazilian steak house after our last experience. We went to Fogo de Chao which we were under the impression was supposed to be one of the more upscale places around. The only thing upscale of that place was the price. This place had changed our minds forever and we will be regulars here. The salad bar was on point and had soooooo many more options that I loved. The meat tasted amazing and the servers were supper accommodating. We enjoyed ourselves a lot.
