                                                          I did not want to load my plate up. So I got just a little bit of food. When I went back after the choir finished 20 mins later, the food was gone . How can you have an 11:00 reservation and the food ends at 11:30 and it's supposed to be all you can eat buffet!! They apologized and offered me 2 pieces of cold Fried chicken, greens, 2 deviled eggs and potatoes. But I had to take it to go and could not eat it there. I didn’t know that food started at 10:30 as my reservation was for 11:00 am. I also didn’t book the Gospel Brunch, but the hostess asked if we wanted it. I said yes, but our reservation isn’t until 11. That’s okay they are serving now. Not once did any mention the buffet ended at 11:30. Plus they charged me a 20% gratuity! NEVER AGAIN!!

                                                          Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. It was Black Restaurant Week, so we had one of the specials. Deviled Eggs, corn bread and Catfish on top of black eye peas (delicious). The only thing I did not like was having to go to the bar to enjoy happy hour pricing for drinks. And, when we said we would share a plate, they said each person at the table had to order and entree. Which in hindsight I shouldn't of said anything. The portion sizes are larger, I had to take some home. Overall, I would recommend you try it out.

We.were there as bev service being turned over and they couldn't have been nicer about what wa/wasn't available. Interested to see the rest of the upcoming changes? Including additions to the menu. Food awesome as always.
