Food was great! Much better than the last time I dined there. Appetizers were a little pricey. And very noisy. Probably not good for a romantic dinner. I would definitely return!

Everything was just meh. Arrived at 6 half hour early, our fault, but plenty of tables yet told us we couldn’t sit in the main room as we were early though empty tables. Crammed seating, literally the back of someone sitting next to us — their long hair was touching my side. The courses came on top of one another. Food luke warm. Dessert was sorbet dropped in a bowl. Lack of plating, presentation. The plastic gloves to clear our table was off putting especially as the server just stacked them all right in front of us If hygiene was an issue then serve our food with the gloves. No one watching the floor, no one managing the kitchen flow. Sloppy.

Without a doubt the most hospitable place in NYC. The staff is super pleasant, accommodating and in no rush to chase you out! This, along with the amazing food and ambience make for a great Friday night. Seven of us had drinks and dinner (no dessert) and it cost us $370 (including a tip). Definitely the place to seek out if you're visiting, and the ideal place for a regular haunt if you're local.

I just moved to Harlem this past summer and was hosting my family from out of town for the first time this Thanksgiving! I brought them to Red Rooster for the Jazz Experience and we had the best time. Food was incredible and music + overall vibe was so great. New tradition was made!
