   Lively restaurant with large college and non-college crowds right in Davis Square. Good food and nice atmosphere. A little noisy but to be expected with the large bar and groups of people.

   Excellent service. Had a reservation called and said we would be ten min late due to traffic and they were very accommodating and held our reservation. Food was prepared as requested and delicious. Had the burger..highly recommend. The pizzetas were good as well. Waitress was superb. Very attentive.

   Food is always good. Interesting (and even eclectic) menu, great beer offerings, and terrific service are hallmarks of this restaurant. Really enjoyable spot!

   We enjoyed our spur-of-the-moment meal at the Foundry. All of us had been there before and knew we would be having good food. Our meals (coq au vin, hamburger & fries, grilled chicken sandwich & fries) were all delicious, cooked to order, and ample. The service was good, friendly and helpful. It is a busy place but we never felt rushed. After our ample meals, somehow we all had room for dessert (ice cream, flan and profiteroles) and these were also quite good. Good beer, cocktails and wine. In general, the Foundry is a comfortable, reliable and pleasant local place.

   The buffet Easter brunch was delicious! There was a wide assortment of foods and everything I tried was fresh and tasty. The hostess was delightful. The waiter was OK, but didn't really come around much and we felt a little abandoned. Since it was a buffet we didn't need much, but we were going to order tea and coffee at the end but decided not to since the waiter never really came around and so we just asked for the check once we found him. That part was disappointing but the buffet was great and worth the price. Will visit again.

    Great spot for a random Friday night date. The food was great (the Poutine is highly recommended) the server was the perfect balance between attentive and giving us space. My love language is when my Steak is prepared as requested, and they nailed it! Definitely will be back!

    This was my fourth time eating at the Foundry on Elm but the first visit for my mother and aunt. We all opted for the buffet (Sunday reservation) ; as always, the selection and quality was excellent (and we never came across an empty chafing dish, they were replenished frequently). I cannot remember who attended to us but she was very friendly. Two mimosas were ordered but only 1 was brought to the table - no big deal, it happens, and we weren't charged for it. My mother and aunt think it would be a great place to take my other aunt to when she comes over from London in a couple of months. This is my top local brunch choice!

    Met with a friend on St. Patty’s Day! Place was a lot slower than expected but food was amazing! Server was definitely busy with a full section and food runner was a bit green/new and that was obvious but overall very good experience. Have not had a bad one yet! I will be back :)

    Enjoyed a booth, somewhat away from the bar as it was a get together for four. All of us enjoyed our food and drinks. I got the roasted mushroom pizzeta which was good! My friends swear by the Coq au Vin. Service was also excellent.

    Oyster rack is too high for booth seats - can’t really see them that well. Oysters were amazing though. Good wine, and the mussels were 🙌

    We came here for something of an impromptu Valentine's Day dinner (we'd been planning our dinner for later, but found ourselves in the neighborhood). The food was wonderful, as always, and they also had a nice bonus menu for the holiday (which we didn't sample, but looked great), along with a nice amuse-bouche to start (fried goat cheese) and truffles before dessert. Really good, high-end comfort food with a Belgian touch.

    I work at a nearby university and had brought job interview candidates in ALL week (spending hundreds of dollars at The Foundry in the process). Unfortunately on this particular night our waitress had a serious attitude. She thumped down the bread, seemed offended that we were talking with the job candidate and not ordering quickly, slapped down the coffee cups, etc. ALL of our guests, including the job candidate, noticed. What made it worse was that the server was only marginally polite to me (I am white) and all the other guests at the table were people of color. It may have been a coincidence, but it did NOT make a good impression. I spoke to the manager afterwards and I also apologized profusely to our job candidate.

    Always tasty food, and love their cocktails. The amount of food can vary depending on what you order, so if you're hungry you might want to ask the server how much food comes on a plate. One friend left hungry while another was quite full.

    If you’re going on the weekend, always make a reservation because they get very busy. The weekdays are slower. The service wasn’t great this past visit, but I think they were short-staffed and spread too thin. The food is always great. And they have a good drink list with lots of variety.

    I came with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday. He said that all he wanted to eat was a burger and a beer. They lost on both counts. The burger was so soggy that he couldn't hold it. The bottom bun was just mush. And the beer he ordered was a 16 ounce beer. They gave it to him in a glass that was NOT 16 ounces. When we complained, they said that they would look into it and get back to us. Never did. They also got my order wrong, but at this point there was so much else wrong that I did not complain. They gave me french fries when I ordered salad with my sandwich. I will not be going back.

    The flatbread with eggs was super!!! The brunch menu’s list is short because they have a buffet. I can’t speak for the buffet food, the way it was presented did not look appealing, so I stuck to the short list menu offerings.

    After all the positive reviews, we thought we’d try it. We were all very disappointed. The service was horrible (we were wondering if our server left for the night) The mediocre food took forever to arrive and the portions were just fair. I got a dinner salad with chicken and the size of the chicken breast took up more room on the plate than the salad…and that’s not a compliment (I ate a bowl of Cheerios when I got home)! There are much better places within walking distance from the Foundry. Find one!

    I was so disappointed with our experience here. Our table was so dark we needed to use our phones to read the menu. I ordered the French onion soup-it arrived lukewarm. My husband had the burger, which was delicious. The pork chop was quite good too. Our server was so neglectful, it really took away from our enjoyment

    We went to this restaurant for an early dinner before going to a play. The food was excellent and while the service was prompt it was a little cold. However, that was the only drawback. We got the picnic plate which I would highly recommend for a group and the poutine was creamy and delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.
