   The Oyster Bar at Shaw’s is not to be missed! Top notch staff, friendly, knowledgeable and kind. Food is fabulous and you can’t beat the bar atmosphere with fine dining fare.

   Food and service are consistently good. The seafood is fresh and side items are good also. I always hit this place up (at least once) when I’m in Chicago. If you enjoy seafood, I definitely recommend.

   The restaurant charged a 3% Surcharge on the bill. You need to ask to have it removed. This means less tip for servers. Very tacky for an otherwise nice restaurant.

    Ambiance was great, service was exceptional. The food was out of this world, miso glazed salmon, oysters on the half shell and truffled potatoes. Every time we travel to Chicago Shaw’s will be a required stop.

    Excellent service from Francisco. Fresh, delicious food all served at a proper temperature with nice presentation. The New England clam chowder is one of the best served anywhere on the planet. The soft shell crab and Shaw’s seafood combo platter were excellent.

    The food was amazing! The petite filets were cooked perfectly. The lobster roll was a generous portion. The sautéed spinach and lobster Mac were the perfect sides. I will definitely be returning to Shaw’s next time I am in Chicago! 10/10

    Reasonably priced seafood of fairly good quality. The bar area on either side is the best part IMHO because of the service and the distinct personality of each bar area. The dining room is a good place to take business clients or a large family with or without kids.

    The customer service was unmatched. Food was amazing and staff was fantastic. We took 3 kids (8, 12, and 15) with us. The whole family enjoyed it.

    Our annual visit to Shaw's Always great fresh seafood which is harder and harder to find.While crab a bit pricey ($138-168) it is understandable today. My daughter had the Shaw salad which was wonderful and more than enough for her All sides are to share which we did not know when we first visited and ordered enough for 6 people (for 2 of us) Service is excellent and they do sit you at reservation time. The raw oyster selection is perfect with 3 east coast and 3 west coast selections. Noise was lively but we could easily have a conversation Everything was wonderful.

    The food was awesome as usual. Food and bar service was a bit on the slow side , Our waiter, however, kept us informed and made apologies. Also. they ran out of vanilla vodka to make one of their signature cocktails. Pretty large establishment to run out of a commonly used liquor. While I love Shaws, perhaps they should slightly decrease their number of reservations. The dining hall was packed. And aa gentleman sitting relatively close to me continually coughed which was a bit concerning. On the plus side, our waiter was great and informative.

    Great food! One of our favorite Chicago restaurants. We come here every time in Chicago. King Crab legs, lobster tacos, salmon nigiri, etc. top notch! Pricey but worth the splurge!

    Every dish was delicious - oysters, stone crab claws, bisque, tuna, raspberry pie and beverages. The service was perfect - professional, friendly and not rushed. Shaw’s remains as the best seafood restaurant in Chicago.

    This was a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s 15th birthday. The food was outstanding as always but I must add that our server Fawn F. absolutely made this a special occasion. She took great care to insure that this was an awesome night and experience for my daughter. We cannot thank her enough!
