   Mario, the owner noticed my aggravation with a wobbly table and found us a new more comfortable spot. Joel, our waiter, took excellent care of us. This place has a family party atmosphere that is super endearing. There was dancing and a birthday girl that shone on the dance floor. The band had the whole room engaged. It was a lovely evening. I recommend this locale if you like to dance and have fun. And the food was great too!

   My daughter and I had: Pernil, vaca frita, mojito, flan and coffee. The food was flavorful, nothing offended but nothing outstanding. The service was attentive.

   The food was great, the service was fantastic. Our party had a couple of different allergies and they were able to accommodate with no problem and didn’t make it weird. The live music was great especially on Mother’s Day! Thanks for the great service!

    Wasn’t as expected. None of the reviews mentioned the noise level which was distractingly loud. Nearly impossible to have a conversation. Food was rather under seasoned for Cuban which we’re accustomed to. Service was good and detailed. Missed the mark for us.

    Small portions, loud environment, not willing to change side dishes. Food was good but again, small portions. 13.00 for a glass of Sangria was a little steep even for NYC. We wont be back…

    The music was too loud for me. Hard to talk. And while I enjoy prompt service, the courses were too close together. Food was delicious though so I would go back. Maybe get take out.

    I’ve never been to a restaurant that was this loud. Ever. It was night club volume. And this was before it got louder at 830 when the live music started. Fun atmosphere but if you need to talk w/the people at your table, pick a different venue.

    Everything was amazing. From the hostess to receive us to the musicians playing . This place it’s a little gem in the city! You have good Cuban food,drinks and amazing vibes and ambience. We dance and the dessert was amazing too! Will come back 💯 recommended

    I went there to celebrate my Birthday. I indicated it while making the reservation, also added a comment that it is my Birthday. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed this occasion was completely ignored by the restaurant. Very disappointing. I didn’t expect the show, but at least a candle on my dessert, but got nothing.

    The volume of the background music was so loud as to be almost painful and make conversation impossible. Despite requests to lower it, it remained much too loud. The food was good but not the best by far. In the area, Victor’s Cafe is a much better choice.

    Can’t get over the disconnect between my expectations having read reviews this was the best Cuban restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen and reality of leaving 1/2 our dinner on the plate. During our meal, found myself wounding if the reputation was because it is the ‘only’ Cuban restaurant. Per other reviews, drinks were superb. Best of our order was the grilled veggie side. Otherwise the chicken was rubbery, beans bland, pork too chewy to enjoy. Fish was delicious, but approximately 2 oz in serving size. Bland, mediocre ingredients and highly salted.
