This is a great restaurant for conversation. It has become my favorite restaurant for birthday celebrations and catching up with friends. The food and service is outstanding. The pork medallions are a favorite of mine, and of every friend who has tried them. I highly recommend Remi

Remi is a charming venue in a great location just off 6th Ave and 53rd near the NY Hilton. The food was excellent and the service was very good. We sat toward the back of the restaurant so it was quiet, which was our preference. If you want a more stimulating vibe you have that option by sitting closer to the front of the restaurant near their quaint bar area. There is also an outside dining option. This is our third time dining here and we have been very pleased every time!

Remi was elegant but comfortable. The menu had some nice accompaniments and the service very good. I had the pumpkin and sweet mustard filled ravioli with a butter thyme sauce - excellent. The roasted artichoke appetizer I shared with my husband was ample and delicious. We will be back.

Everything about my meal was perfect! I had seen others mention the bread basket, but I wasn’t prepared for it to be amazing. Wow. Each course was divine. The service was the perfect balance of there when you need it without any sense of hovering. There was even live music playing at the bar that was the perfect soundtrack and not too loud in the dining area. Excellent meal. I’ll be back!

the food was excellent! the service was great. The only negative the party felt is when we did not order any beverages than water, that it was quickly calculated our table would not provide a huge tab. perhaps it was just perception that the service approach changed. We had been touring the city and water was exactly what we needed that evening.

We have been to Remi about a half dozen times now. From the greeting at the door to the more than capable barkeep to the wait and busing staff, every person employed by Remi more than exceeds the standards of fine dining. And, the good is simply delightful.

The food was great but the service was a little slow. The restaurant was less than a third full and it took 10-15 minutes for 2 drinks to be made and brought to our table. Overall a generally positive experience and I'd probably go back again.

Rarely do I find a perfect place to dine. On this occasion, we arrived too early and sat at the bar for a $6.00 martini. A fine way to start the evening. We were promptly and courteously seated at my requested table. The menu offered many exciting specials but I settled for one of the house specialties, a pasta with shrimp. The ambiance is cool and elegant and the service is classy but not pretentious. I am a frequent guest at Remi and often bring people who have never had the pleasure of dining at Remi as ofter as possible. Every single time, they are shocked they hadn’t had the pleasure before. Worth the trip ... an evening in Italy without leaving NY.

What a surprise. This Italian restaurant in the middle of NYC is a wonderful spot. The ambiance is lovely with both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was perfect and the food delicious. The portions are generous and the overall experience is excellent. Everyone in our party totally enjoyed their meal as well as drinks and wine. Our server was attentive, responsive, helpful and made the experience totally stress free. The tables are far enough apart that we could have a lovely conversation - no yelling. I will definitely return to Remi.
