    Disappointing evening at a restaurant that I generally enjoy. We waited 40 minutes for our food (had to ask for it) and it was delivered barely warm. Before we were finished wait staff tried to clear our table. We were handed the bill without even a question as to whether we wanted dessert. So, basically ignored. There were two empty tables near us (a 6 top and a 2 top).

    The food was excellent. The apple, cheese and chive salad is a favorite. The ribeye was tender with an amazing flavor crust. Our server was extremely busy yet attentive. The night we went had very slow service from the kitchen. We waited 30 minutes from the time we ordered to receive our bread service. That is unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber.

    Beautiful night, beautiful spot, and tremendous server. Bread was delicious, drinks were good, beet salad was good. Burgers and pasta were terrible, we both left our entrees half-eaten which never happens. We'll be back for a drink but never again for dinner.

    Very sad. Used to be a great choice for special occasions but our anniversary dinner this year was very disappointing. Chicory Salad and Green Salad were pretty good but neither of us could finish the scallops. One side was barely seared (the other not at all) and they didn't taste fresh. The butternut puree was more of a soup and didn't have much flavor. Flourless chocolate torte was disappointing too (somehow it wasn't very chocolaty) but at least that was at no charge. Cafe Lurcat used to be good enough to justify the cost but the quality this time was nowhere close to the cost of $150 (without drinks) for 2 people.

    Great ambiance and food and drink. Upon entering, we did think it smelled a bit like grease. We did realize all of our clothes needed to be dry cleaned when got home. Probably due to kitchen ventilation and an older building, but that was u expected since we literally were there two hours for dinner.

    We had a wonderful meal with a great bottle of wine recommended by their sommelier. Chef Sam Gilman is creating an interesting and tasty menu. This is a great spot for a special occasion or just a meet up with friends. I highly recommend that you visit and see for yourself!

    Wonderful food; beautiful setting overlooking the park; crowded, but not overly loud restaurant, unusual in this day and age. Cafe Lurcat, occasionally overlooked when a shiny new bauble appears on the Minneapolis restaurant scene, is wonderfully dependable.

    I have heard great things about Cafe Lucrat & the restaurant did not disappoint. Food was light, refreshing & spectacular. We had an amazing waitress & I wish I could remember her name because her recommendations were spot on. She is a keeper!! Our only downfall would be parking. We celebrated our 20th anniversary & it was what I had in mind for food. Thank you for an amazing meal!!💖

    As always the Apple Cheese Chive salad was amazing. And the dessert, a pumpkin item was excellent too. The salmon was wonderful but comments were that both the pork chop and chicken were overcooked. Service was good but felt a bit rushed and we got tangled up on drink orders which likely led to what seemed like a high bill. The dining room was nearly empty which surprised us as overall it is still a nice meal out and we’ll be back. But we will go in with a bit more thoughtfulness!

    Took a friend for her birthday and we ordered off of the Restaurant week menu. The food was delicious as well as the cocktails! Everything came out hot, on time and portions were more than enough. Shoutout to our very attentive server who was patient w/ us when we weren't ready to order the 3x he came to ask. Food: Steak tartare- excellent Apples, chive & cheese salad - the combo is refreshing, salty (in a good way) and delicious Cavatelli - pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and they did not skip on the meat Korean BBQ salmon - fish was perfectly cooked on top of a bed of wild rice Dessert was pumpkin Panna cotta and Sébastien Joe's ice cream in vanilla. The ice cream had flecks of basil in it which surprised me. The restaurant was also beautiful!

    We came during Restaurant Week. We had a table of 5 and ordered a few different things so we could each try them. We all enjoyed the dinner and the variety of food was really fun. Our waiter was wonderful and very attentive.
