It was a wonderful day and we sat out on the patio. The staff were wonderful and made me feel really special for my 60th birthday with a card and the most amazing dessert. We loved everything. Thank you! Oh and the food was so good too!

I had mentioned in my open table reservation that this was a birthday lunch. Unfortunately it became very frustrating when the hostess asked if this was a special occasion, next the fellow preparing the table and drink order, then the waitress. It seems that none of the staff exchange information on their guests. Same thing happened with our coffee order. just a little ludicrous!!!!

Best restaurant in West Vancouver with Earls coming in second on ambleside. Fabulous brunch, phenomenal biscuits with honeycomb, delicious avocado and white cheddar Benny along with mimosas and even a seafood tower and Mother Earth bowl…so damn good every time…let alone the ever stunning views of the beaches and sea rain or shine. Vibe is chill and buzzing at same time. Love the reno. Sitting at the bar even is perfect. 11/10

Great night and excellent food especially the seafood tower. Our waiter Mathew was really great with menu selections and suggestions for wine pairings, letting us sample before we made the final choice. Very attentive and courteous staff and awesome view on patio. Heat warmers kept the temperature just right.

The Beach House is perfectly located by a seawall, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. It has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere which allows one to dress casually to go for a walk by the seawall, or more formally if one wishes to plan a celebration. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is always good. It is our go-to restaurant in the North Shore.

Beach House never disappoints; the food and service have always been wonderful. My last visit was for a quick happy hour of oysters and wine. Oysters were fresh and perfectly shucked, and my server was friendly and knowledgeable.

Would prefer to go in summer and sit outside where it isn't as noisy. Music loud and combined with patrons becomes so loud it is hard to converse with others in your party.

Great service everytime I go. If I can only add something is guys should be taking care of the washroom more often. Place is beautiful, great location, great food,good service but washroom are disgusting everytime I go. Also last visit was for my parents anniversary and I was expecting the dessert being decorated accordingly but It wasnt the case this time. One more thing reservation system over the phone wasn't great the girl told us it was fully booked and I was able to book myself online so I was a bit confused and onces we were there it wasn't that busy. That's all other than that I enjoy everything everytime I visit. Thanks

Lunch on busy Valentines Day. Despite making a reservation (on Jan 26th) we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes for a table. Others didn't seem to have to wait that long? We felt disorganization. When we got it, our table was too close to a stairway to the lower level and immediately adjacent to a "table re-supply station". Shortly after we were seated a waitress took our drink orders which were delivered in a reasonable time period. Then we waited........... Honestly, we felt ignored. Yes staff were very busy but all around us customers were being helped. There didn't seem to be anybody assigned to our table. About 20 to 30 minutes later an obviously more senior staff member asked if anyone had taken our order. Sorry for the delay and all that. Thereafter, lunch came within expected time frame. Food was good to very good and well priced however drinks are quite expensive.

We went for happy hour brunch and found it very reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My only suggestion would be to ask for your poached eggs medium. Other that that the food, view and service was amazing.

Terrible no one checked on us our food took extremely long time. It was a table of 5 with a birthday celebration and it was truly sad how they did not bother to take care of us.

Our server, and am sorry I forgot her name but she was phenomenal…..being attentive when we needed her and always accommodating with a pleasant sincere smile while multi tasking with other patrons. Will definitely return in Monday evening…..like the mood and ambience as noise level tolerable and not distracting. Thx!

We usually choose The Beach House for our date nights and special occasions as it always delivers. There were some glitches this night which made me take away a star, however, I'm very confident that it won't be repeated. My husband initially wanted to switch to a table instead of the high-top, but settled on the high-top and was glad he did. As it turned out he had a great perch from which to watch the action all around us and a lovely view of the water. Normally, we sit in the enclosed patio area, but when we made the reservations it wasn't open and available. Our host was very accommodating and patient. We were greeted by Matt, one of the bartenders who made some really great suggestions and allowed us to sample a couple of the wine offerings. The Earl Grey Martini was yummy and very easy to drink. My husband noticed that his water glass had a lipstick mark on it and had Matt replaced it with grace and speed. There were so many great selections because we arrived for Happy Hour, and both the DineOut Vancouver Menu and the regular menu were available. We finally settled on the Yuzu Sushi Roll for an appetizer. Matt's terrific suggestion for me was the Miso Sea Bass with Wok-Fried Vegs, and my husband ordered (at my urging) the Steak Frites from the Happy Hour menu. My husband asked for it to be cooked Med-Rare. Our entrees arrived very quickly. When my husband unravelled his cutlery from his napkin, he saw that the knife was a bit dirty. Good thing that a steak knife accompanied the Steak Frites, he did inspect the fork and found that it was a bit spotted but wiped it down with his napkin. He also discovered that the steak was cooked Well Done so when Matt came by for his quality check, my husband pointed that out and Matt immediately whisked it away and came back within a few minutes with a PERFECT MED-RARE. Matt is to be commended for his attention to detail and friendliness. Laura also came by to check on us & we were very happy that we were taken care of.

We've been here many times over the years and always enjoy the food, great service, and the view out over the water. As with all things it's gotten more expensive over time, but still worth it for special occasions. The atmosphere is generally lively but quiet enough for easy conversation. We haven't sat in the new patio seating area which would be great in summer, but you'd need to be the hardy type to sit out there in winter even though they have heat lamps and an enclosure.
