The food was very good and the restaurant is very nice. The service leaves something to be desired. I ordered Basil Hayden bourbon before dinner. The waiter said they don't have that (which is fine). I asked what bourbons they had...he said Johnny black or red. I said those aren't bourbons...he said that's all they have. We had a nice dinner, and then he brought the dessert menus. Lo and behold, there was a list of 5 bourbons on the back! Also, they had no espresso or cappuccinos as the machine was "broken"....just broke today! There are other reviews that mentioned it was broken, so it's an ongoing problem. In summary, I would go back only if they train their servers and improve their customer service.

Highly priced items that were very underwhelming. Food needs improvement. Had a linguine with clams entrée that was totally over salted, briney, not hot enough and lacked enough big clams. Cappuccino maker was broken so settled for tea which was boiling hot. Flourless chocolate cake was actually gross. Was hoping for a better meal.

Food wasnt as good as it had been on my last two visits. Not sure if chef changed or just an off night. A bit disappointed overall especially in super bland tomato mozzarella and branzino.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The food was good (salad with salmon) but a bit pricey. Service was good, but not great (did not refill iced tea). Dinner (pasta specifically) has been better than lunch. I would come back.

The restaurant was fairly empty. The service I got was excellent and the food was very good. Hoping that service is good all the time but I wanted to be clear about the circumstances. Theres no air conditioning so it was a little hot in there. If the place is packed, I'd imagine it would be like an oven in there. Will be back though.

Good food and nice ambience. The main dining area downstairs was very warm in certain areas. Only front section was cool. Good prix fix 3 course dinner at reasonable price.

Everything was just mediocre. Salmon dish: Salmon was soaked in a sauce so one could not taste the salmon at all. Hard to ruin a piece of salmon unless you overcook it and it's too dry....but they found another way. High ceiling so the upstairs is cold in the winter and hot in the summer.

Always an enjoyable venue for us. I feel that the feel "regular wines" were a little pricey as a bottle of Ruffino Chianti cost $45. The wines on special all looked good but, there were no Chiantis on the night we were there. This will always be one of our favorite places and especially early on Sunday nights when we simply want to relax and enjoy a good meal.

We enjoyed our dinner here on Valentine's Day! Pastas are pretty expensive though. I asked for a basic pasta with vegetables and they really only had like 1 vegetable to put in and no mushrooms. I did like the marinara sauce though! I wish they had more good vegetarian options. Overall a great dinner though!

Service, food and ambience always dependable. Jimmy never, ever lets anything go amiss, he is on top of ever detail and is a wonderful host and you can be assured that your dining experience will be top class. The staff is experienced and we never have a question that they cannot answer. On New Years we asked for advice on a wine since my wife and I have rarely can find one we agree on and the waiter came back with the perfect bottle!! Who can ask for more but we got just that with a perfect meal.

We reserved a table for Sunday evening. We were shown the worst table in an empty dining room and asked to sit elsewhere. The printed menu and drinks list were in old, frayed covers. We ordered cocktails and then were told that they had no Canadian or blended whiskeys. No champagne, only prosecco. We left and will not return.

I went for lunch this time with my friends. I ordered lunch menu. The salmon I ordered was so delicious! The way they fried was just wonderfully well done as outside was crispy but inside was medium cooked, just perfect! The sauce was another excellent addition with it!! I am very impressed by this dish. ( I cook a lot, so I totally know this dish is very special dish!) Always welcoming atmosphere, especially the manager is the wonderful person who thinks about customers always!

The title says it all. Maybe they were having an off night? Maybe the waiter was new or serving too large a station? But the restaurant was not filled to capacity, so not sure why they were so overwhelmed. Frustrating, because the food was really pretty good once it arrived. Room-temperature white wine was a deal-killer, though. They comp'ed it, but never managed to get it to proper serving temperature. Ach!

As usual everything about the place met with our high expectations. Tried new drinks on the menu: Michter's Grapefruit and Fiore Liz and they were great, shared a great Arugula salad and the goat Cheese Ravioli and Eggplant Parm servings were just the right size. Have been there before. This time we weren't happy. The tuna tartar was overly made with too many capers. The endive salad was saturated with dressing. Not edible. Calamari was decent. The goat cheese ravioli was fair. The spaghetti carbonora was very good. Great flavor. The pasta with bolonaise sauce was pretty good. Service was outstanding

Dinner took 3 hours due to a big group, but the manager gave us a each a free drink and a dessert for the table. I would go back as the food is good and the ambiance very nice.

This is a casual, comfortable, restaurant in a very attractively renovated building, which I think was a former bank. Service is friendly and attentive without being effusive. The menu is varied and good, and properly prepared. Looks good enough to eat, and it is!

Morello's setting is unique and the service was reasonably knowledgeable and attentive. The food was quite tasty. The tuna tartar, with it's super fresh fish, had an Italian twist, with a touch of pesto on the side that turned this appetizer found on every menu in town into something special. My eggplant parmigiana was probably the best I've had, delicately fried egglant layered with just the right amount of cheese, sauce and herbs-not the goopy, oily mess one typically encounters even in high end Italian restaraunts. However, we found the menu choices extremely uninspiring, to the point where we had to struggle to decide on our entrees. I generally don't complain about portion size; most of the time I end up taking home half my meal. The entrees at Morello's though, were teeny tiny, without any sides. At that price point, with those portions, the chef could throw in a few stalks of broccoli and some strands of spaghetti.

When we walked in we had requested a certain 4 top so we could see our daughter and her friend who wanted sit outside. The hostesses said no she could use that table for 2 people only 4. So about 10 mins later she sit two people at the 4 top table we requested. So we ask to speak with the manager he was rude and un apologetic. We eat at Morellos at least 1 every two weeks. Some times weekly. Just very disappointed in the Leader and the waiting staff was apologizing for his rudeness.

Very personable and accommodating staff. Our drinks were perfectly prepared as was all our food. Everything was delicious and the portions were on the large side. Would highly recommend. And can't wait to go back.

The service was perfect. Friendly staff. The Crispy Calamari and Cheese Plate was a great starter. I had the Morello’s Garganelli Bolognese. The sauce and pasta was cooked perfectly My wife had the Pan Roasted Scottish Salmon... She loved it... It had a great flavor and a nice seer. Had a little wine and Scotch with dinner... Finished off with an espresso... Everything was done well.
