Extremely slow service - 45 minutes to get bread and then another 30 for salads to arrive. Essentially felt forgotten. When you spend close to $400 on dinner for 4 people (without alcohol!) you expect a litter more for your money.

Unbelievably disappointing experience. It was our first anniversary. The hostess asked us if we were celebrating anything and we told her, yet no one else acknowledged it. The gnocchi appetizer was completely inedible (we left 90% of it) the server took it away but never asked if something was wrong with it and left it on the check. The steak was very good, however the sides were not. The creamed spinach was the worst I have ever tasted. Bitter and completely unseasoned. We left 95% of it and again, paid for it. The server never asked if we enjoyed everything, otherwise we would have told him how awful it was. No manager ever came to our table except to help drop the food (and he backhanded me while doing so) It is as if you don’t ask for feedback because you would rather not deal with how completely inept the service is and how unbelievably underwhelming the food is. We refused dessert, which I went into the night very excited about, because we could not get out of there soon enough. To top it all off, the booth we sat in was dirty, dust all over the walls and a dirty napkin at my feet as we sat down. There was also a bright light shining in my eyes the whole time and you could not hear any music playing. It was the worst dining experience I can remember, and on our anniversary no less. Will never return and will not recommend to a soul. I have no idea how the google rating is so high.

Highly recommend! Our food was outstanding. We had Filet and a Ribeye. Sides were delicious. Cam, our Server, was most attentive but not intrusive. Manager visited our table and was very welcoming.

The food was good and service was excellent. The only thing that none of us liked was the gnocchi. The sauce it was served with was excellent but the gnocchi itself was way to dense. It wasn't light and/or airy, it was almost like under baked dough. The restaurant is also a little pricey for the portion sizes compared to the other, upscale steakhouses in the area.

We visited Oak during Restaurant Week. Restaurant Week is a price and menu set deal but its a good way for locals to check out places that we wouldn't normally go to. I am pescatarian and my boyfriend loves his steak. There were other steak places as choices for Restaurant Week but I have heard good things about Oak. We got to the restaurant early for our reservation but they were able to seat us right away, and with a choice of where we would like to sit. They asked if it was a special occasion- we said nothing big but it was Date Night and we never get to go out to formal places so we were excited to check it out. The service was good and they were attentive. But my low score comes from the food. Again, we chose from the Restaurant week menu. We shared the wedge salad and the shrimp cocktail. The main entrees were 8oz filet mignon and triggerfish and we shared the desserts. The first courses were ehhhh...basic shrimp and iceberg lettuce with blue cheese. I've had better at diners. And we understand, that at most steak restaurants everything is a la carte but again the idea of restaurant week is to get a taste of what the restaurant can really do and to wow us to come back with friends/ family and for special occasions. I had the smallest pieces of fish, but it was tasty. I was embarrassed for the server when he sat the steak down. Very small on a plain white large plate. Not a smattering of a glaze/butter or creamed sauce. Not even a piece of parsley to garnish. Pretty sure my boyfriend finished it in 5 min. He said it was tasty and cooked well but c'mon show us what you can do! I went to another formal dining restaurant on Monday. There were a lot more choices for each course, they provided homemade breads for the table, samples of an after dinner drink and all for less money! And the waiter gave us gift cards to come back. They really wined and dined us and I will def go back, but Oak is now crossed off my list!

Disappointed! Yes I was doing Restaurant Week. Took 45 minutes or longer to get our food. Steak overcooked. I had to switch with other diner. Naked plate with a steak bernaise sauce. No garnish nothing. The dessert was the best thing.

We ordered the 30 oz. Porterhouse. It was definitely not 30 oz and it was cold when they brought it out. If I’m gonna pay $140 for a steak, it better be phenomenal and it was far from it! We tried 3 of the “steak sauces” and they were all terrible. The service and the ambiance was great but the food was mediocre at best. Don’t waste your money.

Great restaurant to get a delicious dinner before a play. A 6pm resy we enjoyed libations and ordered the burger with fries, gnudi and ceasar salad. Everything was very good. We had a cozy and quiet table for two upstairs. Perfect to carry on a nice conversation. Our waiter was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for an excellent experience as a guest, Oak Steakhouse delivers. I’ve heard great things about it, but my expectations were exceeded. Our server, Alex delivered exquisite service. I had the Certified Angus Beef filet topped with truffle butter and it was cooked perfectly - the best steak I’ve ever eaten. The steaks served to the rest of my table were also cooked perfectly, and the Mahi special was delightful. There wasn’t a single bite from the sides through the dessert that wasn’t enjoyed. Every minute of the experience was perfect!
