My wife and I have often eaten in Osteria Mamma, loving ever bite. It gave us even more pleasure to see the reaction of our two friends who had never eaten in O.M. They loved the ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo; the salads,dessert and wine and planned to return.

Lovely experience, quite a traditional Italian Osteria in the heart of Hollywood, delicious apetizer, nice pasta (even if not really Italian style carbonara, but as much closest possible) and awesome Tiramisú! Wine list of level with reasonable prices for an LA restaurant, definitely love this place!!!

It was my first time at Osteria Mamma. I was entertaining my cousin who was in from Boston. We both had the most lovely dinner. The restaurant is charming, the authentic Italian food was delicious. Great service and beautiful clientele.

The ambiance was great. It looked like a great neighborhood spot. It was friendly and inviting. It was bustling. The food was good to delicious. My only concern was the service. Due to so many people dining, our waiter took a long time to say hello and take our drink order. He was mostly absent throughout. A second waiter picked up his slack. But I could tell he was not our primary waiter; he had his hands full with his own tables. The tip I left was for the second waiter and the other staff that brought us our food.

The homemade pasta were tender and cooked just right. They complimented the rich sauces. But the winner of the night was, of all dishes, the Mirko pizza (San Marzano, Wild Arugula, Fresh Burrata Cheese, San Daniele Prosciutto). The combination of toppings on the crispy crust was a hands down WOW. I wish I knew the waiter's name, but he and my husband had the best banter about the entrees, beers, and desserts. The waiter's voice, as deep and rich as the entrees, was almost straight out of a movie. I felt transported to NY's Little Italy.

Great date spot. We were on the patio where the ambience was nice and quiet. It just got a bit loud when a really big group showed up, but that’s no fault of the restaurant. Service was excellent and the food and wine was delicious. Hoping to come back soon.

Osteria Mamma was like an oasis after a 3.5 hour drive from San Diego to see a concert in Beverly Hills. The food couldn’t have been better and the service was great.

Felipe Calvo and his entire team at Osteria Momma take excellent care of their guests. The pasta recipes of "Momma" Lorena are delicious and the regional wines are always interesting. This is a neighborhood place for those in the Larchmont Village area but is definitely worth a try for anyone visiting Los Angeles.

Great service from the staff. The food seems to be suffering. I ordered the squid ink pasta, it was ok. The portion was not what i expected. There was a lot of empty space in the pot where it was placed and the presentation was so so. The salad i ordered with walnuts and pear is so so. The lettuce was wilted, over dressed, the gorgonzola cheese taste like it’s almost expired. The calamari with other fried veggies have been reduced to a small cone of paper. The decaf coffee with cream and chocolate mousse was a good combo.The staff are great. They’re friendly and attentive.

Loved the food, the service, the ambiance- everything! We were there from 5-6 on a Sunday right before going to the Pantages for a 6:30 show. I would have gone in at 4:45 just to give more time to calmly get to the show. The restaurant was perfect--I could have planned a little better! I would recommend again and again and I wish I could go there for dinner tonight!

The reservation process was very easy, when we showed up the restaurant was ready for my entire party. The restaurant is in nice location with plenty of free parking. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful. Everything was great!! Except the pasta, it was al dente which is probably more authentic, however not for me. Great experience overall.

Lovely restaurant serving authentic Italian food with an extensive and impressive (but slightly expensive) wine list. We had a lovely family meal, the service was friendly, polite and not intrusive. The staff were very helpful in identifying suitable menu choices for our daughter who is dairy free.
