   We ordered the meat platter as an appetizer and the sausage was exceptionally good. We also enjoyed the seasonal cocktails and, since it was Thanksgiving, we ordered the turkey dinner, which we enjoyed. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. It’s a perfect place to spend Thanksgiving. We are looking forward to spending more holidays at the Rancher’s Club.

   Came early to have a cocktail. No waiters. Shown to our table. No bus boy. A waiter that had many tables. Courses were served slow,or wrong. The bill had overcharges on it. The food whenever we got was excellent . It has been 10 years since I at at the Ranchers. It will be another 10 years . It is sad. This was a quality resturant.

   Valentines dinner, our first time here. I had the sea bass special with sautéed spinach and Hawaiian sweet potatoes- it was fabulous and a very generous portion. Sea bass was cooked perfectly. My husband had the filet. It was good but not the best we’ve had. Service was very good! Started out with martinis and paired our dinners with great wine. Nice ambiance.

   Horrible, I felt ripped off. Also we weren't sat until an hour after reservation. Scallops was a scallop sliced thin with radish. Just not at all with the price. Longhorn is better

    My family has gone to Ranchers Club as long as I can remember. When I grew up, it quickly became my husband’s and my favorite place to celebrate special events. The service was impeccable, the food was some of the best in town, and it was an experience like none other in Albuquerque. Now Ranchers Club has terrible service, poor quality food, and is an overwhelmingly disappointing experience. We checked in for our reservation ten minutes early and our table was not ready. No problem. We waited at the bar for half an hour only to realize the hostess forgot about us. The bar’s Old Fashion which used to be the best in town, now is more like a shirley temple with a shot of bourbon. The two young and inexperienced waiters never wrote down orders and failed to get a single item correct. The food quality was that of Golden Corral. I can only blame management for allowing this wonderful establishment to plummet to such a disappointing level. We are saddened by the sudden decline in quality all around, and will never return.

    The food was outstanding. However, partly due to staffing shortages, the service was very subpar. The service could have been a bit better if our server knew how to multitask. They stated 4-5 times as they walked by that they would be right back with the wine menu. They did recognize, at least twice, that the service was lacking and they ended up discounting our meal proactively due to this. Overall, I would still go back though!

    Ranchers is my wife’s favorite restaurant so we were really glad they were open for the Valentines weekend. We ate there on multiple occasions before the pandemic and love it there. Sad to say, this visit was so horrible it will take a lot of convincing to bring us back to their restaurant. The menu was limited, compared to what they offer before. The $50 steak, which used to come with different sauces, and our favorite, was dismal. It was also overcooked. We didn’t dare complain about it since we were already hungry and didn’t want to wait much longer. Service was bad too. After we got our entrees, the wait staff didn’t check on us until after we were done eating, our water glasses empty for a long time. Can’t really blame the wait staff because obviously they were understaffed. He did apologized. But paying $$$, you would expect more. We still tipped him nicely. It changed for the worse. The only thing that was consistent, was their pricing. We were there for the nostalgia and of course, for the food. All gone. ☹️

    The Rancher's is an elegant restaurant with excellent food. I had not been here in several years but found it to have the same outstanding food and service I had enjoyed several years ago.

    Had a wonderful dinner in celebration of my daughters birthday. Joshua was wonderful. He was patient and answer all of our questions. The food was delicious especially the new sweet potato ice cream.

    I was disappointed bc decor was super outdated and food taste and presentation was subpar for the high price. Not “upscale” as expected for our anniversary dinner. Waiter was very friendly though. No complaints on service.

    This was our first visit to Rancher's Club of New Mexico and we absolutely loved it!! This steakhouse has a Texas theme to it and serves up a delicious 18-ounce ribeye that's made for sharing. Try adding the sauteed shrimp -- yummy!

    My wife and I are long-time Rancher's Club (RC) patrons. To us, RC was a special place. RC was where we opted to go on special "dress-up" occasions and to entertain and impress our guests. However, we have observed a marked decline in the service, the ambiance, and the skillfulness of food preparation over the last several years. On our most recent visit, the music was discordant jazz which was played too loudly, and not conducive to a relaxed dinner. RC used to have a very gracious maitre d' who greeted diners, provided information on menu items, made wine recommendations, and coordinated the wait staff. Now a waitress arrives and says, "Hi, I'm ____, and I'll be your server this evening." Just like any other restaurant in town. Nothing special about that. I remember when a coat and tie was required to enter RC. The RC website indicates that there is a business casual dress code. Now, it appears anything goes. On our recent visit, people were admitted with t-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes. We have been to RC when shorts, sandals, and spaghetti tops were permitted in the dining area. Food preparation was mediocre at best on our recent visit. There are much less expensive restaurants in Albuquerque that provide better service and better food preparation. We have many fond memories of RC over the years, but my wife and I agree that RC no longer meets our expectations. We will miss RC.

    Overall we were disappointed with our experience. Forums, at least this is an occasion restaurant and it did not measure up. Our entree’s and Salads were wonderful. Our server was really lacking in personality as well as attentiveness. Overall not the caliber of service most would anticipate for a restaurant like this. It’s doubtful we will return.

    We had a fantastic time! The food was great, the service was incredible. Our server was very attentive and helpful with our meal selections. My steak was a perfect rare+. Management was exceptional as well. Would recommend for anyone visiting Albuquerque.

    Out waiter iris was strange. Friendly but there were a few awkward moments where she should have had a follow up question but stood there on silence. Their drink menu was still Christmas themed which was weird.

    Loved the atmosphere of this place. I do wish that they had seated us at a quieter spot though. That being said it wasn't super loud, but it wasn't necessarily quiet either. Not until it died down at least, at which point the noise volume was perfect. The food was phenomenal, and the waiter had a bit of an edge to him, which made for a good conversation piece. Nothing against him, he did an amazing job of making sure me and my girlfriend were taken care of.

    Expected a fine dining experience but table location was terrible especially when I had set reservations almost 2 months ahead. I have no intention of going back to this restaurant. This was our 33 anniversary and probably worst experience, I could have gotten a better experience at any other restaurant. The hostess acted like she didn’t care, as not her problem the experience at the Ranchers Club was not as expected. Not sure they should be part of open table. The meal and service were average, nothing special.

    This was another wine dinner. It was a smaller group this time, but the people that were there were fantastic and we had one of the most enjoyable evenings so far. As usual the parings were great and the portions adequate. They used all New Mexico wines and chef made dishes that complimented each. How can any meal not be fabulous that starts with popcorn ice cream!

    A bit disappointed since we were hoping for the same oysters Rockefeller that we used to order a few years back and discovered that they were not the same. We were also hoping for the bananas foster dessert, and they no longer offer that. Later we heard they had a new chef so that’s why the bananas foster is no longer available and the oysters were not the same. The service was great though.

    Beautiful restaurant and ambience. The amuse bouche was a nice surprise, a bite sized beef Wellington. The rib eye steak was outstanding. The only downside was that the baked potato was lukewarm but our waiter brought hot ones right away.
