Awesome Server; very attentive and funny, too. Salmon on my salad was ordered medium; was slightly overdone - but still tasty. Ambiance is a little loud; but I expect that and it is fine. My go to place in the area; looking forward to next time.
Crab and Avocado sandwich was very good, as always.
Burgers were good. Breading way too heavy on the Fish-Fish and chip dish. Would not order the fish and chips again.
Service was great!!
Food is very good and so is the service. I’ve been there 4 times and have never been disappointed.
Elly was a awesome server
So pleasant and attentive!! So nice and sweet !!
We love going to Roberts while visiting Maine. The food never disappoints! Great service! The one thing we did miss was the crackers and cheese while we waited for food. No complaints otherwise!
We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the menu had a lot of variety!
All of the food here was delicious! Seafood very fresh and I love that even the fried items are not too heavy.
This is a perfect case of mixed feelings. The food was fantastic. The service was unacceptable. Unfortunately after 3 visits, I have come away with the same experience; great food, poor SERVICE. Consequently, we always struggle with whether to go to this restaurant. And one occasion we had to get up and get our own water. On that same occasion the server wasn't even listening as one of our guests were speaking with her. She just walked away mid-sentence. It seems like Roberts can't get the service part to there great food right. Therefore we will visit sparingly if at all. I hope your experience is better than the ones we have had.
The raw oyster assortment included 13 varieties from the area. Excellent descriptions and delicious. The stuffed lobster was tasty with scallops, shrimp, and haddock served with a grilled ear of corn and drawn butter. There was no bread or other item to distract you from the main event. The baked haddock was scrumptious. The beer flight featured 8 micro brews in roughly 4 oz. pours. All you want iced tea. Total with tip was well under $150. Very pleased.
We are regulars- we eat here at least twice a month. Definitely one of our faves. That said- a little candid feedback.
- Teach your host team to be welcoming. Also- you have OpenTable- use it to its full potential by recognizing your regulars. Reward loyalty with some basic recognition. OT has that capability.
- For goodness sake- please get a shucker who can open oysters without scrambling them! You have beautiful protect and they are consistently ruined by your shucker.
Our server was wonderful. Maureen is a gem.
Food is getting more consistent again after many meals that varied wildly. Scallops were particularly good.
The food at Roberts is excellent and the service is always great ! The oysters are the best ever .
We love this place. Have visited dozens of times, often bringing friends. Fried clams and jumbo (two-way) lobster rolls are our favs.
We had an amazing family meal at this restaurant. We were visiting from out of town and requested a table by the window for the pretty view and got what we asked for. Great service and food.
This was our second visit in three days. We loved the menu. Our waitress on Sunday, Maureen, was outstanding. She was very personable and very attentive. We shared the fried brussels sprouts; they were great -- not deep fried. I had the salmon special (blackened) atop asparagus & rice pilaf -- excellent, cooked just right. My husband had the baked haddock -- very flavorful. I had a bite of carrot cake, and he had a bite of blueberry crumble. Everything was so good that we went back on Wed. night. Maureen was serving other tables, but we had Sandra, who was also excellent. She answered our questions and explained the community supper. We decided to eat a little lighter so we skipped the appetizer. I had the baked haddock that my husband had on the previous visit -- so tasty. He had the Community Supper for $16, which consisted of a salad, chicken marsala with stringbeans and mashed potatoes, and dessert of black & white cake. His dinner was excellent too. I had two bites of his dessert, and it was out of this world. We will definitely return when we are in the area. We were exploring the area and leaf peeping.
We met friends for lunch. Roberts was quite busy yet we were seated on time. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. Our server was top notch. Salads were fresh and appealing. Bloody Marys were excellent. Just the right amount of “zip”, although we could have done with a few less accoutrements on top. Our meals were prepared to our liking and were tasty. Only thing I would critique would be too heavy handed with the mayo on the slaw. We had a great time, didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed our lunch with friends.
Last time my wife and I were on the coast in New England, she was unable to eat shellfish through the entire fortnight holiday although she adores it. So, 25 years later, after a 3000 mile flight and, in a break in a five hour drive on the way back to the airport at the end of another holiday, she finally got to have that New England shellfish lunch and, boy, did she enjoy it! Tasty food, good wine, enthusiastic staff, vibrant restaurant even on a wet Monday - it couldn’t have been better. Thank you Robert’s Maine Grill - I hope it isn’t another 25 years till we’re back!
Wonderful chowder, fried clams and haddock.Raw bar had great choices.Best bloody Mary with shrimp!Memorable meal.
Excellent food. Staff was wonderful.
The seafood was really fresh! The wait staff were very accommodating. Drinks were fun. We will go back on a weeknight. I think it would be very crowded on the weekends.
I frequent Roberts for family, friends and business occasions. Great food and worth the trip.
LOVE Robert’s!! Always one of our favorite restaurants. Their appetizers are amazing and main courses are always delicious. You won’t be disappointed!!
Great for lunch but make sure to make reservations or else there could be a wait. I would not recommend it for small kids due to the spacing between tables.
Any time we are in Kittery, we stop by Roberts. Lobster Cob and the Allagash Chicken Fingers are our staple. Always a fantastic meal with great service.
Excellent food. We’ve been there before, and I’m sure we will be back.
The drinks were the best part! Our server was very friendly and attentive.
Amazing food, great service, beautiful restaurant.
Food was excellent. Our server was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.
Friendly service, clean and delicious food. I was coming from out of state to meet my cousins who live in Maine. It was easy to make a reservation and save a table with a beautiful view. We plan on going again!
Great meal and outstanding service.
Great food and service. My soup was not hot and the manager immediately took care of resolving everything and then followed up. It was handled very well. Had lobster for dinner. It was great.
We were a party of 4. Salmon, Lobster roll, fish and chips along with fried clam plate, plus 6 oysters. Everything was great with the exception the wait staff did not follow-through with condiments and they were slow. I think under staffed. Very clean. Very few children.
I would definitely go again. Good selection of local beers. Good parking. Heavy tourist area so reservations are suggested.
They have a fantastic variety of oysters that we just can’t get enough of! Great place!!
The Lobster Cob Salad was DELICIOUS! Best I have had ! Service was excellent!
First we left a review on the table card, asking where were the rasberry and blueberry pie deserts. Then we had the chocolate cream pie. Forget the rasberry and blueberry pies the chocolate cream pie is 10 times better. The waitrees was Brandie she was excellent. The dinner was great for both of us. Thank You see you again.
Large open concept, great for large groups, plenty of seating; food was excellent.
Very nice lunch, friendly atmosphere. We shared the stuffed clams, lobster sliders, roasted Brussels sprouts and each had our own bowl of chowder. More than enough for three of us. Iced tea was delicious
We eat at Robert’s every year when we move from our summer house in ME to our house in NJ. It is half way home. We are exhausted and finding a nice place with wait service, great cosmos and comfort food is wonderful.
First time visiting for our anniversary now that the tourist season is quieting down. Cocktail shrimp was huge and snappy and highly recommend. Hubby had filet mignon and seared scallops and said they were very good. Haddock chowder is delicious. Fried calamari was good with a spicy relish. I had fish tacos and was disappointed at the lack of fish. Seemed like I was eating veggy tacos with a smidgen of fish. Prices are quite high with drink prices to match! ($10 for a glass of wine).
Great spot. Excellent oysters and seafood on the menu as well as accompanying cocktails, wines and regional beers. Service is always attentive and the food is prepared very well.
I enjoyed almost everything but the Fried Cornbread was disappointing , to me it was under cooked and just fried on one side, but being from the south could be the reason.
