    As usual, we went for lunch and received solid professional service and delicious food. Most importantly, the restaurant was moderately busy but it was not too noisy for conversation.

    We love Clyde's for the oyster happy hour. Prices on all food seems to be increasing. The Wellfleet oysters were great. My husband ordered a delicious Reuben sandwich. My butternut squash pasta was very greasy.

    Even though the restaurant was crowded with an unusual number of kids—because Santa Claus was just outside—the service was quite prompt and the food was well prepared. The brownie sundae that can be split between two people is a perfect ending to any meal at Clyde’s. The taste, temperature, and texture all make the sundae much more special than the description. Thank goodness a waitress recommended it some months ago because otherwise I would have thought it was too “ordinary “ a dessert to get at a restaurant.

    The restaurant is one of my favorites in the area. It was not busy and the server was taking a long time to attend our table. Overall my experience was not so bad.

    Food was mediocre and expensive. I didn’t even get a coffee refill! Will not come back for breakfast. $150 for a family of four with no alcohol and completely overpriced.

    $43 for TG turkey dinner? I sh have gotten the cheeseburger. Stuffing was awful. Thimble of cranberries. Turkey was straight off the Sysco truck. did not recognize the mashed potatoes... Canned green beans.

    The food was delicious as usual. The service was excellent. We were seated quickly. Our food was delivered promptly, despite how busy it was. We go there every Thanksgiving.

    We went on Thanksgiving, some in our party had a Thanksgiving meal and some did not. This was our first time at Clydes. It was a fine bistro meal. French fries were really hot (great!) and baked brie app (not something you see everyday) was a nice change of pace. Cocktail selection was good, including a hot option and tasty spiked sangria.

    The Thanksgiving Turkey dinner was delicious!! The best we’ve had at a restaurant. Also you must try the crab dip! The service was excellent and punctual! I would recommend Clyde’s for a holiday dinner!

    I very much appreciated, Thanksgiving afternoon, being given a booth in the section of Clyde's that I prefer. The service was very good, noise level moderate, and the food tasty (except for the potatoes au gratin which were undercooked.) I had taken my brother, visiting from London, to Clyde's for Sunday brunch two weeks ago, and he fell in love with the place -- the decor, even the little trains running overhead from time to time, and with the food. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously!

    Overall it was fine. The cranberry sauce was awful however. My husbands squash was ok but bland while my son’s was not cooked enough. They both got a chunk of gnarly turkey in with their slices. I had short ribs. They were great.

    We visited Clyde’s of Chevy Chase yesterday for Thanksgiving dinner. The food, wine, service, and ambience were excellent, and I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who prefers not to cook on Thanksgiving.

    We took our daughter who lives near Clyde’s at Chevy Chase and we were able to eat a real Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the fixings and ham glazed with a delicious mustard sauce! Apple pie and ice cream too! Truly a blessed Thanksgiving Day meal! Thanks to Alex our waiter and the great back house cooks and the bartender oh the train rolling through too!!!

    Wonderful as always. This time around I ordered a Chilli as an appetizer and it arrived (without the trimmings we ordered) before our drinks and before anyone else's appetizer. But other than that servers and food quality was lovely as usual.

    Pleasant, helpful service, especially in finding a quiet table for my companion and me. My Reuben with my preferred side (coleslaw) was delicious, and the waiter noticed before I asked that I'd need a take home box. We sat for a long time in this busy restaurant and were treated kindly with offers of more drinks or dessert. Lovely experience.

    It was a lively fun ambiance with good food and table service on a busy Friday night. The oysters, burger, trout, delicious. Good pours on drinks. However..., the seating women at check-in left a really bad taste? I dont think "customer experience" is their thing. Their attitude was SIT THERE, because we say so. They were clearly displeased/actually mad when we expressed a preference different from their assignment. Our servers and the kitchen staff were good at their jobs. Hostess station people? Haughty and bossy. So we have mixed feelings about this place.

    The restaurant was not busy, but the service took a very long time. One member of our party, a business colleague, eventually had to leave before completing the meal. A "fruit" side order was in a very small cup with some poorly chopped and unskinned fruit. This experience did not live up to decades of eating at multiple locations of Clyde's.

    Decided to have a cheeseburger, and it was delicious! They give you a choice of French fries, fruit, Caesar salad or side salad, which is great. Service was a little slow, but the ambiance is great.

    The kitchen at Clyde's was, as always, excellent. Their crab cakes remain the best and side dishes worthy of praise. Our server was kind, attentive, and helpful. He definitely deserves five stars.

    Saturday lunch overlapping brunch. Wait staff overwhelmed. Lobsters (at $33+++) came without the customary utensils! Food was good but service was way below usual expectation. Hope it was a one off!
