I am from Brazil and I am very excited to know Nonu Sao Paulo!
Flawless-as usual. Group of 5 for a birthday celebration and service and food were as exceptional as always. Thank you for another wonderful experience.
Food is excellent but service could be better. It was pretty busy for lunch, reservations are recommended.
Very positive . Excellent food and great environment
The restaurant was great and the birthday dessert decoration was a nice touch.
Lovely dinner and great time/great food. Note: my server Nin was wonderful. I gave three stars due to their offensive policy of notifying customers what time they need the table back. I was notified over the phone the day before and was again reminded of said notification before my party was seated. HOW RUDE AND UNWELCOMING!! I’ve dined in far superior Michelin star restaurants around the world who would never dare make a comment like that to a customer. Furthermore, the length of a dinner has more to do with service than how long it takes a customer to compete a meal. I understand that a table is booked multiple times throughout an evening, I don’t assume the table is mine for the evening. But to go out of your way to share the ‘time limit’ with the customer is beyond offensive and unwelcoming. Learn some etiquette before you ever talk to a customer like that again! Treat the customer with respect!!
We had the chef’s choice, it was a great menu with a lot of variety in the food.
Unfortunately, I just wasn’t really impressed for the money. Nothing really exciting about the menu. Sushi was fresh and delicious just really plain.
Nobu remains "good" but with the explosion of locations in all major cities, its getting a "chain" feeling.
The menu is less inventive (or others have copied) than is seemed early-on.
Great food loved the food ant the place it was great
Great food and great vibe! Nobu is always great but Saturday night was one of the best meals I have ever had at Nobu! Its a hip place and service was outstanding!
Good atmosphere. Good service. Food is good. Not exceptional.. but portions are very small and more important , everything felt rushed. It is like fast food but pricey.
It felt that as soon as I swallowed a bite , someone was there to take the plate and bring the next course. This is not good service. Quiet the opposite. . Felt like fast food
Always a fantastic experience
Amazing! Rock shrimp tempura, Yellowtail with jalapēno and Spicy tuna crispy rice, so good... its a must have.
Had a wonderful time. Both myself and my date are vegetarian and every option we ordered was amazing. My date has high expectations and Nobu knocked it out of the park. Thank you!!!
Love love love Nobu. I think its really amazing. Food, drinks and service is always the best.
Great staff ! Great ambiance !wonderful place ! amazing dinner !
Great food, very interesting tastes.
Food portions are a little small and expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.
Tacos were very interesting and creative; the skewers were perfect; the dessert was also great.
I hate to be disappointed when spending above average prices for dinner but I can
truthfully say we are never disappointed at Nobu. They always are accommodating with a romantic corner table for us! Looking forward to return.
I would ask the wait staff to be more attentive to filling up water glasses. I guess when you drink New York finest water the free stuff they don’t pay attention to you. Which is a joke at $680 dinner tab - fill those glasses. Nobu has clearly gone down hill.
The staff were so accommodating and professional. The food was exquisite. Terrific.
Beautiful experience. Food was great & unlike most restaurants they remembered to bring out a little dessert for the birthday girl! We loved it.
Server was rushing us at a ridiculous pace. Too high end place to treated as if in a low scale franchise.
Great food and service
The service we received was outstanding. She listened carefully to what we liked and recommended dishes based on that. We went for the complete Nobu experience and enjoyed every single mouthful.
I would have rated the experience with 5 stars had it not been for the attitude we got from the bartender and server. My assumption is that because it was obvious that we were tourists, we did not receive the same level of service as locals seated near us.
Nobu is exactly what you expect it to get, no surprises - ever. That is a bit of a disappointment. Add the pressure to liberate your table for the next client, which left no time to savor dishes as the next dish on the menu at times arrived before we could finish the last. Sorry to say this but it felt like a fastfood. But I would still recommend it to anyone who has never been.
Excellent! Nobu does not disappoint. New location in downtown is way better than TriBeCa
Food was delicious!!! Had the Cod, sea bass, tacos, and tuna tartare. Drinks were yummy as well. Overall great experience!
This was our worst Nobu experience over 20 years of dining with them. First off, i had requested booth seating with high chair when I made the reservation and called to confirm, but when we got to the restaurant they didn’t know about it and said there was nothing available. We sit at a regular table and when we asked our waiter about the flavor profiles for some of the specials and dishes we never had he kept saying “it’s good” but couldn’t tell me what was in them. I think a waiter needs to be more knowledgeable than saying it’s really good, it’s tasty, I really like it, you might want to try it. Then there were also 2 pieces of shell in our king crab tempura when we bit into it. I told the server but he didn’t even apologize. Terrible experience and ruined the birthday celebration.
Disappointing. I ate at Nobu in Las Vegas at both restaurants and stayed at Nablus Hotel at Ceasars and it was way better. The noise level was too high couldn’t even hear the waitress, the seating was uncomfortable staring at a wall? I doubt this server knew anything, she rambled on about six or seven specialties of the day explaining every little detail at pace that no one could follow and brought me sushi hand rolled. It sucked. Tasted like a wrap of seaweed with soft avacodo mush. Terrible flavour, over paid and the order was only three hand wrapped sushi when I asked where my other sushi was she said that was it, I had to re order a full second order and pay double. What a rip off. She forgot I asked her for sesame seeds and had me waiting for almost twenty minutes with no follow up. Terrible service, I’d fire that waitress on the spot. I’m also a culinary student of Le Cordon Blue who was taking classes at ICE. Very sad for such a high class restaurant, it’s a loser in my opinion. I’ll never go back there again. There wasn’t much here for what I paid. Not worth the money. Sorry but you guys lost my vote.
Would suggest seating not to be delayed by 20 m past reservation. Otherwise, good vibe.
Once again Nobu doesn’t disappoint. Spectacular in every way. Came with 2 first timers and they are hooked. Will be back again very soon
Always consistent. Always great! Food is delicious.
Food is always good at Nobu, but it was a bit salty this time. Server was very friendly and helpful, but the food service was very slow. We had the Omakase, and at times we had long time lags between courses.
Really amazing food, can’t wait to go back.
We’ loved it
High quality and great ambiance, would recommend the upstairs bar vs downstairs dining room.
The service was impressive and the food even more so. They don't advertise it, but they can do their tasting menu entirely vegan. That is 8 courses if delicious vegan goodness with fruit or sorbet for dessert.
