Jaya, que significa "victoria" en sánscrito, fue el nombre elegido por nuestro equipo en honor al reconocido diseñador de interiores Jaya Ibrahim, quien diseño Jaya at the Setai, y además celebrar la primera década de la hospitalidad de inspiración asiática del hotel. El chef ejecutivo Mathias Gervais y el sous chef ejecutivo Vijayudu Veena han colaborado para crear destacados platillos de Tailandia, Vietnam, Corea, India, China y Japón.

Had an amazing three course meal here for the 4th of July. The service and ambience of the venue was exceptional and it is a unique and stunning setting. Food also lived up to the mark which is sometimes not the case for restaurants like this. Expensive menu all around but that should not come as a surprise and I felt that the experience and quality of food was in line with the pricing. Only issue we had was (on our visit) the ceiling fans were cranked up causing the menus to blow around the table and the food got cold quicker. Not sure why they did this but still a five star experience despite the issue.

Hello, I want to inform you that you have a very aggressive girl working for you, who greets guests, hostess with a short haircut. She throws down the menu, answers rudely, is nervous and unbalanced.

Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia no fue la mejor. El mesero que nos atendió fue poco amable y grosero al contestar. Entendemos que todos podemos tener un mal día, pero como parte del servicio, esperamos una actitud más cordial y profesional. Todos en la mesa tuvimos la misma impresión. Además, uno de los motivos por los que escogimos el lugar fue por el show, que según la página terminaba más tarde, pero no alcanzamos a verlo. Nos sorprendió que el lugar cerrara tan temprano, y el mesero ni siquiera ofreció el postre. Una lástima, porque el lugar es realmente bonito. Ojalá puedan mejorar esos detalles para que la experiencia esté a la altura del espacio. Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t the best. The waiter who served us was quite rude and seemed to be in a bad mood. We believe that regardless of where someone is from, being polite and respectful is essential, especially in hospitality. Everyone at our table felt the same way. Also, one of the main reasons we chose this place was because of the show, which according to the website ended later, but we didn’t even get to see it. The place closed earlier than expected, and the waiter didn’t even offer us dessert. It’s a shame, because the place itself is beautiful. Hopefully, these details can be improved so that the experience matches the quality of the setting.

Jaya was beyond outstanding. Gorgeous dining room, amazing food and wonderful service. We ordered more food than we needed after the first things came out because everything was so delicious. The performers that came out throughout dinner were very impressive as well.

Food was mediocre relative to price. Service was very poor. We were rushed through our dinner. All food brought at once, salad and filet. Not acceptable. Will not return. Save your money and go somewhere else. So many other nice upscale dining options.
