We all had a wonderful time! The restaurant is new and clean. The food was delicious and our waitress was awesome. I highly recommend Rail Stop!
Great place that slowly being discovered
Food and drinks were expensive for what they were. Food was inconsistent with the Cod being very bland and unappealing. Clam pasta was very good. Very nice physical space and bar. But, not worth the money.
Very good meal had the cod loin service was very good excellent rolls
Hostess was not very pleasant. Food was not cooked right. Waiter was very nice but the food did not come out as ordered.
Very convenient to Boston College football shuttle bus stop! Great pre-game meal!
Great weekday special that can't be beat. Everything was great. Terrific cocktail choices and execution.
I went to this restaurant at the last minute choice, but I m completely satisfied. I will recommand it 300%.
We enjoyed our last visit much better. My short rib was extra fatty and mashed potatoes were cold. Service was just OK.
Amazing food and great ambiance
Service was exceptional from the time we walked in till we left. Food was excellent! Choices were plentiful both food and alcohol-wise. We are looking forward to returning!
Great time today at the Rail Stop. Owen was fantastic. Kudos to the management, we appreciate the wonderful gesture today. Food was top notch as always.
Food was average at best. Great staff that seemed to work well together. Nice place for apps and a drink.
The waiter was very slow and we had to pack up our food for a game. We got there at 5:45, ordered by 6:20 and had to ask for it to be packed up at 7:15. Not good
Very good food, creative mixology, nice ambience and good parking options. I've been here twice previously for business lunches, and gladly came back for a nice dinner with my wife. Recommended.
Food was really delicious but the service was very very very slow. If the restaurant had been busy I could overlook the slow service but it was dead in there.
Food was great , parking was easy Has not been found yet by either Bostonians or the suburbs
The Railstop is still relatively new. The restaurant is beautiful. The have an extensive cocktail menue. The menu selection is good but the quality of the food is very average. Lobster mac and cheese was soupy with little lobster. Lobster roll was pretty bland. Having said that the wait staff is very attentive. Nice too that there is an option of small plates.
Amazing! Super-friendly and great drinks!
Sam, our server was phenomenal. He made fantastic recommendations and was incredibly engaging and helpful!
Wait staff was attentive and the manager not only stopped by to check on us but was helping take orders and make sure everyone was delighted. The barrel aged Manhattan was exceptional. The food was really good and there was something on the menu for everyone.
Still working out the kinks service wise. Food is good, but I can find similar entrees for cheaper around the city.
Outstanding! Friendly staff, great food and drinks in a lovely atmosphere. What more do you want?
We ate at Rail Stop as part of our ongoing exploration of new-ish restaurants in the Boston area. There seems to be lots of new places to try all of a sudden. I forgot to make a reservation and this was one of the few restaurants that we had not tried and had last meeting seating.
The restaurant is tucked against the NB HQ and has a lot of great decor and a nice looking bar. I thought the food was well prepared and delicious. There is a nice selection of lower end fare, hamburgers and pizza, the standard stable of apps and entrees. Nothing to that pushes the edge of culinary tastes but some times it is nice to have a steak or a lobster roll. The food was well executed and the service was good.
My husband had a good burger and my daughter had the lobster mac and cheese. I had a filet and it was delicious, slightly over cooked for my medium rare but fine.
I hope it gets a following since it is a large restaurant. I would go to the bar with a friend and the drink menu seemed broad and interesting.
Short ribs were very dry they needed more juice on them. The pickled onions overpowered the dish as that is all you tasted! The clam chowder was amazing.
Good wine selection
It is in the new sports complex next door to where the Bruins and Celtics practice. A sports bar vibe but really good food and outstanding mussels. Will go back
Although I made reservations thru open table, the restaurant could not accommodate us for our time slot. We ate in the bar which was fine and the server gave us a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience. The staff are very nice and overall we had a nice experience.
Great food and atmosphere. Service was pretty good. Food is a little overpriced for its quality. Overall great place to have dinner and a drink. Very much a bar vibe.
We had a lovely time. Food was yummy and the atmosphere is very cool. We had Polo, as our server. He was very attentive and a wonderful waiter. We would for sure come back again and request him as our server!
We love the rail stop and are grateful it is so close by! We can sit in different sections depending on our mood - outside, at or in the bar area, or in the restaurant - all are fun! And, the service is excellent! Thanks for another great dining experience!
The restaurant has a relaxed vibe. The tables are spread far enough apart so conversations can be had with normal voices. Our server Martin was great - knowledgeable about the menu with a good sense of humor. The food was excellent starting with the PEI mussels then to the cod and salmon entrees. A piece of chocolate mousse cake was shared for dessert. We will absolutely go back again.
Great place to meet an old friend for lunch. Good service, excellent food and convenient location.
I booked this restaurant for brunch without any expectation . Surprisingly, normal dishes are better than we expected. Shishito peppers came with flavorful ginger sauce (mixture of sake, soy sauce, mirin or honey and some spice). Cob salad's dressing did not bother ingredients (unfortunately, I did not understand what the dressing was). My wife liked her burger, too. We will come back here.
Super service, ask for a special dessert that they provide us with a huge smile that was presented to us by the cook. Amazing place.
Excellent food, good service easy to get to and park
First time here. A real gem. Xavier our waiter was awesome. Ordered a salad, crab cakes, and the seared scallops. Everything was delicious. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Location is nice, in the new inspiring neighborhood of Boston Landing. Right underneath warriors ice rink and new balance headquarter. Food was delicious, the salmon is okay but the cream that comes with it is superb. Service could have been better with water and general checkin. Overall nice place, next time I’m coming in for a drink or two
This place is always good. Had my usual filet mignon. Tried the buffalo chicken tempoura meatball appetizer and it was excellent.
Absolutely amazing! Our server was wonderful, knew all about the menu, and didn’t rush us in the slightest. The cocktails were so delicious. I will absolutely be back!
Each dish was well presented, the waiter knew the menu well, everything was delicious.
The night we were there it was a little hotter inside than outside. The outside dining had a very nice set up and would recommend either.
