We are an interactive culinary environment.

At our restaurant we create and interpret the culinary ideas inspired from different cultures, products, and techniques. Our always evolving menu is a result of the interaction and interchange of different experiences.

An open kitchen, eclectic and without limitations.
Because cooking is our passion.

Historically cooking evolved through the interaction and exchange of cultures. Through this premise and advances in technology our project, Cocina Abierta, was born, designed for the sharing and development for our passion.

    I visit San Juan often and I make it a point to dine at Cocina Abierta every time I come. Local ingredients are so gracefully incorporated into the dishes, the service is alway spot on and I am always so satisfied when I leave. The wine pairings to the dishes are carefully crafted and just excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will certainly be back again!

    The taste of the food was exquisite. The chef has taken such a unique taste on some traditional and also non-traditional dishes. The flavor is ALLLLL there. Amazing combinations of flavors and presentation was beautiful. However, as must fine dining places, the portions are on the smaller side.

    Amazing food and ambience. Service was excellent and accommodated all our requests. They had a separate vegetarian menu with amazing dishes! Our group loved eating here!

    Everything was really good I enjoyed the food in fact all 5 courses and the appetizer were amazing also the cocktail without alcohol was great!! I’ll definitely come back and eat here again

    Best culinary experience in the island!! Really loved EVERYTHING they brought us. The snook dish was delicious as was the wellinngton and duck...oh and that batata naam!!! That chef and team are doing a great job (they deserved the one round of beers on us!). Every ingredient blended superbly with each other. We did not have the tasting menu bc we were not that hungry so did it a la carte. Service was ok just very slow. I had to cancel my second glass of wine because after 15mins it had not arrived. Disappointed. But we will come back.
