   Really bad experience tonight. I’ve been coming here for almost 15 years and tonight was a disaster. The kitchen was so backed up and couldn’t cope. It took over 1.5 hours to get our mains. We didn’t have time to finish our dessert we ordered. Server was apologetic but no manager in sight to assist. Food was fine but service was so chaotic it ruined our night

   We had a really nice time. The corner table for great for conversation because a few of us had not seen each other since precovid. The staff - Julien perhaps?? - and his associate were very nice and helpful. Looking forward to another visit.

   I decided to return…haven’t been there in a couple of years. So glad I did. The menu selections were great. The service and drinks were great as well. I had the beet salad and the mac&cheese with bacon. The food was delicious. I highly recommend!

   Server disappeared continuously. Forgot to put in drink order and apps. Drinks came out wrong. Food was cold. Entree order was put in wrong. I have eaten here many times over the last few years and it is progressively getting worse. Don’t think I will be back unless it’s to have drinks at the bar.

   Disappointing food and service. The duck confit Cuban sandwich had very little meat, the fries were soggy and the steak tip portion was very small. Our server appeared new to the industry and while very nice, wasn’t very proactive. For the price point charged, we will not be back for dinner.

   Valentine’s prix fixe dinner. Excellent service and ambiance. Every course was fantastic but the main cut of meat was striploin which I hadn’t heard of. It was a tad stringy but overall the meal was really, really good. Parking can be a bit of a challenge there was it’s worth it.

    A bit disappointing. First time back post covid. Lively, fun vibe. But food and service fell short. Server was polite but seemed to merely go through the motions. Food was mainly disappointing. Best was the falafel appetizer. Flautas were ok. Brazilian Moqueca was blah. Worst was the tuna/salmon poke bowl. Rice was either uncooked or old. Had no opportunity to request a change, since waiter never checked to see if all was ok. Not going back soon.

    Took 2 long time friends that had never been ( what?) anyway …. The chicken under a brick is always amazing! Recent menu changes were very cool. Bith friends for streak tips and said they were soooo tender & delicious! New cocktails were also a hot and yummy! Crème brûlée always good! Service ( John ) efficient, friendly, nice and so attentive and cute! Love love love DBAR!!! 👍🎉😃💋🍸❤️🤪 Chris from Quincy via Dot!

    Last summer we had a couple of bad meals with mediocre service. So we stopped keeping dbar in our dot ave rotation. We have been to dbar twice this winter and the meals and service have been excellent.

    Dbar on NYE was fantastic! We had the 4 course meal…rave reviews from all 13 of us. Waiter was not only very cute but super friendly and professional. The staff seemed to be making the most out of working on NYE - saw them all smiling and having fun…a perfect environment for us to celebrate in. Thank you to the entire staff and owners/managers for continuing to create a fabulous atmosphere for the LGBTQA+ community.

    Not our first time, definitely not our last. Our waiter Jake was an absolute Love! A little cold by the door but the curtain isn’t up yet. Food was fantastic, drinks delicious

    The food at dBar, as usual, was very good. All three of us enjoyed our meals. The squash soup appetizer was excellent. I had the salmon entree, it was cooked perfectly, tasty and moist. My friends loved their entrees of steak and chicken respectively. Prices, as everywhere, have gone up. Our three meals before tip came to $233.00. Bread, and the three oil dips used to come with a meal free but now cost $4. Dinner at dBar is now for special occasions instead of a regular visit. We sat at a table across from the entrance door. Every time someone entered or left, a frigid breeze made our table very cold. One of my friends had to put his coat on. There used to be a curtain at the front door to block that cold air. The curtain rod that held up the curtain is still there, but the curtain is not. It should be up again. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner and the food was excellent.

    Fantastic Meal! Fantastic Service. My wife and I hadn't been to DBar since before covid. We had the salmon, Falafel and Black and Blue Salad. All of them were delicious. and great service. Look forward to going back!

    I attended the "Southern France" wine dinner. While overall the food was outstanding, the mignonette used on the first course of fresh oysters actually detracted from the dish. The Rhone wines which accompanied the meal were unknown to me and thus were an opportunity to taste something new. Still crushin' it dbar! Keep up the great work.

    Probably the worst restaurant experience I have had in a long time. Our server was completely missing in action and clearly did not want to wait on one more table before closing. Didn't know the wines, didn't refresh the water, and messed up the order. Half food arrived 5 minutes before the rest of the order with no explanation. The blasted the music at 9:30 to get patrons to leave and didn't offer dessert.
