   The customer service was great. We were seated very promptly and the staff were on top of all customer reservations. Even though the cafe was very busy, staff were very attentive, friendly and polite. The food… all I can say is SUPER YUM! Really delicious! We ordered the Snow White cake and I wasn’t sure about how it would taste because generally the beautiful cakes are just that. Beautiful. However this was not only beautiful but so light and delicious and not overly sweet. The ambiance and whole experience was fantastic. Thank you! It was the first time for my mum and she really enjoyed herself.

   The people directing the cards were Incredibly RUDE. Waiters were incredibly nice and good with my allergies but not much options being intolerant to onion, garlic and gluten. Food average not much choice at lunch to be honest. Very different experience from my first time here at lunch. Disappointed today.

   I had the worst experience with them. Extremely bad service looks like they are just after money. I had hosted my baby shower tea at the patisserie high tea room and nothing was organised as requested and agreed to. We exchanged lots of calls and emails before the event as has booked atleast 2 months in advance to make sure they serve us the best as requested and we get good customer service. The staff was extremely rude to us and the pregnant ladies with us all of our guests noticed them and we were left embarrassed. The food was just kept on the table and they left instead of letting us know what’s is veg non veg, wrong drinks were served, which looked unorganised and created chaos. They took the food back from one of the pregnant ladies and the food wasn’t served according to the dietary requirements which they had taken in advance, I have clear emails as evidence, we finished the high tea she didn’t receive her food or anything at all. It was the most important event of my life and even the basics were not taken care of, the tables were not set according to the standards, they don’t need customers it seems just want to make money and treat people bad. For the night tea, we were asked to take away coffees juices and teas in a take away cup. We paid for full 2 hours, people were having food there was food on the table there was still 1 hour left for the event and they started collecting our plates taking away the food, not sure why were they in rush. I don’t understand why did they even take our bookings. Guys, this place is absolutely mess chaos and unorganised. You can see there is no management right when you enter. The only good thing is they have decorated it nice to attract people. Please think 100 times before booking here as I don’t want same level of embarrassment in front of our guests for you all. I don’t understand why do they take requirements, agree to everything, promises to serve as requested and then on that special day they just deny everything.

With regard to the vegan meals, we would like to clarify that our reception team had informed you prior that all vegan guests would need to order from our à la carte menu. This policy was communicated to ensure that we could meet specific dietary requirements. The high tea booking includes a 1 hour and 30 minute dining period, which is standard for all guests. We understand there may have been a different expectation, but this timing is consistently communicated to all parties during the booking process.    Overall it’s good, the food was the let down, my hot breakfast arrived cold and late compared to others at the table, the servers were so busy it wasn’t worth trying to get it remade. No one asked about the food during or after.coffee was good.

   The meal was somewhat expensive, and the portion size was insufficient. We asked the Asian guy server to take a picture, but he was rushing. In addition to the food, the attractive décor is the main reason people visit your restaurant. Overall, it's mediocre; I would much rather return to the Grounds of the city for better service.

   We ate in the Cafe. The concierge was well organised and even though it was particularly busy, we were seated in a timely and calm manner. The service was prompt enough for a busy hour and the meals came out really quickly. They were hot and delicious and The Grounds Rose was lovely. The Snow White display was colourful and magical.

   Delightful place! Very busy but very well run. Food came promptly and was delicious. The lanes were lovely.

   Booked the afternoon tea for a friends 40th birthday and it was the most special afternoon. The staff were very tentative, cannot fault the service despite it being very busy, food was amazing and great value for money. Overall 10/10 experience.

   Food was delicious, I think they get too busy to take care of personal food and drink request though.

    Whilst the food and coffee is generally great. And I do love going to the grounds. I found today even though we booked and got there at 8:30am it was already busy. They took our coffee order on arrival. But didn’t come to take our food order for a further 30 minutes. (9:00) following on our breakfast came out another 30 minutes later. Quick given the circumstances, although my child’s meal was cold along with a few other items on plates including bacon. Making it like I was chewing cold greasy leather. (9:30 at this point) 15 minutes later we had servers coming to our table trying to rush us out because they needed the table.

I can see you were part of a larger booking, which might have contributed to a longer wait than we’d usually expect for food from the kitchen.
