We started with a table of appetizers and honestly could have stopped with that, it was
enough food. Everything was very good, fresh. I especially loved the Spanikopita (?)/ The phyllo was crispy and the filling was well balanced. The olive plate was fine-- a little disappointing as we are used to the excellent olives from Whole Foods. But they were good. Nothing wrong- just not exciting. For the entrees: My partner had the lamb gyro I had a pasta / spiced ground beef dish . Both were satisfying and filling. Don't recall the rest-- but I would definitely go back again. The wine I chose was the only disappointment of the evening. It was a basic house wine. Next time I'll order an expensive glass of wine and see if it's more interesting.

As always, Ji-Roz delivered. The beef and barley soup special was hearty and delicious. The calamari is fried but still manages to be light and tasty. I always love their Greek salad and their happy hour wine special was great. Service here is always on point. This little place is getting more popular so make a reservation!
Our family went to Ji-Roz for my birthday. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The service was TERRIBLE - we had to literally flag down our waiter for every thing we needed - which was shocking based on the fact that there was only 1 other table and then a few people at the bar. The food was not at all what we had hoped for and not worth the price.
Great service. Good food choices with reasonable menu items for dinner. Great neighborhood dining.
Loved Ji-roz! We took my mother-in-law and shared several small plates. It was a great way to try a lot of things.

Our first time at ji-roz, went for Restaurant Week and well worth the experience. Owner personally touched the table several times and shared his family story. Great mediterranean cuisine -- succulent goat stew and lemony bronzini (served whole). Loved the freshness, from apps to desserts! Nice wine selection and good coffee, too. Attentive but unobtrusive wait staff. Open kitchen, but not high noise level.
We shall return!
ji-roz is amazing because they have an awesome menu selection, the food is outstanding and always consistent. The service is also amazing! Access to the restaurant is superb with ease of parking and getting in and out of the restaurant! Thank you Jim-roz!
Birthday celebration for my wife
Very disappointed with this visit. Took couple out to thank them for their business. Food was just ok and service was poor. Had to call wait person over to have refill for one of us but she never returned to service the rest of us. Only saw her to take order, one person refill and then check. Plus owner visited other tables but not ours. We normally sit at bar and get great service. Unfortunate since it was a special occasion.
We opted to visit Ji-Roz on a Friday night at the last minute and could not be happier we did! The food was fantastic, with appropriate portions and our server was attentive, friendly, and spaced the meal perfectly. Although not a large venue, the ambience was great for a date night with good lighting and low noise level so you could have conversation easily. We will definitely be back!
Octopus was served luke warm. One entree was forgotten about. Had to sit at community table even though we had a rez. One wait staff for the whole packed restaurant. Not in a hurry to go back.
Had a great dinner with my wife and a friend. We hadn't been there in a while and the latest menu is really top notch. We had lamb shank, lamb chops and salmon. They were all great. We also had the octopus appetizer which is the best in Greenville, very tender and chargrilled, Also tried the meatballs app, just ok. All in all, a great dinner and service. We will be back again.
There were 6 in our group that evening. The food was outstanding. Several had the gyros, and 1 had the salmon. We arrived at 5:30 and there was little activity, but by 7:00 it was a hopping place. Noise level was not bad but the energy was high. The other good thing about ji-roz is they have parking available. No matter what event it is a fun place to go anytime.
The salmon was excellent! I stopped in to ask for directions to a nearby business and the chef brought an umbrella and walked me to my destination! (It was between lunch and dinner crowds.) Because of that I felt I should at least give it a try. I was pleased to find my new favorite Greek restaurant in Greenville! If you're a fan of herbal teas, give their mountain tea a try!!
First time for dinner, small plates were a great choice
Ours was a once a month group that floats to a different bar/restaurant each month. This month we had seven in attendance. First, our waiter Kaleb was very good in service and explaining the menu options (and Greek names we couldn't pronounce). His timing was perfect, there when you needed him and not when you didn't. Everyone liked the variety of appetizers and we ordered all but two on the list I think. Octopus, feta balls and the wings were at the top of the list, but everything was great. The restaurant has a good drink, beer and wine menu. John runs a great place, and is now firmly on our "return visit" list. Highly recommended by this foodie!
This is our second visit. We were here during Greenville Restaurant Week and loved it. The menu grabbed our attention and we knew we had to come back! This is the place for great Greek food. Our waiter Kaleb was wonderful and clearly explained our questions about menu items. We had the zucchini fries with tzatziki sauce for our appetizer and it was sooo good! I had the wood fired double cut lamb chops with roasted beets! Cooked to perfection! My husband had the braised lamb pasta and loved it! We shared 2 wonderful desserts and finished with the Greek coffee. This is a star in the Greenville dining scene! We will definitely be back!

Staff was exceptionally accommodating to our needs. We ordered appetizers before our friends arrived and then stayed lingering over our dinners. We were never rushed even though we were the last to leave. Monday night service is very limited in Greenville. We will certainly return.
Lamb chops and Salmon entrees were very well prepared. Bread was very crusty and delicious.

Service was good the food was average at best. It’s not an authentic Greek restaurant. Gyros were plain and dry. I would not return to Jiroz.
We enjoyed our meal. We had the lamb & it was very flavorful. Service was good. We will definitely go back. Parking was also very convenient. Excellent venue for a pre-theater dinner.

Overall family enjoyed skewers & fries. Tried lamb & pasta dish. Okay, a little salty, not a great value for price. Desserts were great.

Great Greek food in Greenville, with attentive service.
Excellent food and ambiance. Sat on patio with my dogs and staff were fabulous. They even brought a water bowl for my dogs to have water. Our waiter was fabulous and made excellent recommendations. Zucchini fries were great. And the gyro was in the top 3 best I've had. And the Kalama olives on the salad were delicious, like better than a usual Kalama olive.
Very different and very good menu. Great foodie place! Reasonable ale and wine list. Great value in a downtown restaurant.
Service was good and they kindly removed the cost of entree of grilled swordfish with balsamic vinegar because I ate less than half of the fish because it was dry and balsamic was also overpowering for flavor of swordfish. Wine was good. Every other meal I have had there in the past was delicious but I wouldn't order the swordfish prepared like that again.
We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation. We waited 5 and were promptly seated. Our waiter was courteous and when he realized he had made one small mistake, even before I realized it, he corrected and made it up to us with dessert on him. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the pork gyro. We fully intend to return.
Started off a little shaky because our waiter apparently was overwhelmed with a table of 6. Guess he was trying to make a buck. Luckily, one of the other waiters realized we had been sitting there for 10 minutes and no one had even asked if we wanted something to drink. He (Will was his name) stepped up and treated us as if we were his only customers. From that point on, everything was smooth and the service was very fast. I tried some awesome Pulled Lamb Gyros and my wife tried the seared octopus. Yes, octopus! It was a first and worth it. Over the last few weeks, my wife and I have made it a point to eat at restaurants that are not "chains and to step away from the standard pizza, burgers...ect. We have had tried Lamb, Octopus, Escargo, and Antelope. All using your OpenTable app and say thanks for leading us to a new taste in food fare.
Something different not just Gyros although they are fantastic, very eclectic menu.
