    It was a very special dining experience! The food, service ,and accommodating, attentive staff and the beauty of the room made it a perfect place for a celebratory occasion. My only suggestion would be to have a better bread choice. The baguette was soft on the inside but too hard on the outside. We would definitely return and recommend dining here.

    Upon entering the restaurant our greeting and service was excellent. We got the corner banquet that we had asked for which was nice. The servers were all very attentive until the end where they became a bit nonchalant. The food was very fine and we ordered the right selections and shared many dishes. My only real complaint was that the desserts are not up to par at ALL. I am a real dessert person and frankly I couldn't even eat the two desserts we ordered and at $20/each and really looking forward to dessert and coffee was not a way to end an otherwise fine meal. I also had to send the Latte back as I had asked for it to be scalding and it came out tepid. All in all, we really di enjoy ourselves and will try The Grill in short order even though ai hear the pricing has escalated some 80% in certain cases.

    Still the most beautiful room in New York to dine, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. To begin, they do not have the ingredients to make an apple martini, which I found hard to believe in this day and age, particularly if the owners are trying to appeal to a younger crowd than the previous tenant (Four Seasons). The portions of food are small, and the entrees are accompanied by nothing, no side dishes at all. These are available for more money, but even at that only one vegetable - steamed spinach. The duck was not crispy as described, and the portion was approximately the size of a deck of cards sitting alone on the plate. For the price, that should have been doubled. The pasta dish we ordered was salty, and nothing to remember. The wine list pushes you into a $150 price range (minimum), so in short, when the check comes, you're in no hurry to go back.

    Always an energetic Midtown-y scene. No threat of a Michelin star for the food anytime soon. Chef should take it easy on the salt. Service fine (took a while to get started), Sommelier very good.

    I took a group of six on the spur the moment while on a business trip to New York. Thoroughly satisfied by the experience. The room is gorgeous and the service is top-notch. The food is good enough to be best of class in most cities. In New York there is a higher level than this, but that’s really a small complaint. I would recommend this to anyone.

    PHENOMENAL EVERYTHING. It was my partner and my first time and the aesthetic and atmosphere was elegant and gorgeous. Everything on the menu was cooked to perfection! The beet and the duck was to die for. And they even made our anniversary extra special by giving us a candle on our dessert as a surprise. From the entrance to exit 100 stars if I could give it. Will be going back and will make every excuse to.

    Excellent service but food just didn't meet the expectations and price. Plain Yogurt with lame toppings for dessert that I can get at sixteen handles for a tenth of the price. Seriously you can't be a little more creative then that?

    The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff are all very friendly. I love coming back here because the food is amazing. The roasted duckling is my favorite entree there. Must go check it out!

    It was my friend’s 89th birthday. I noted it when I made the reservation on Open Table & requested a table by the pool. When we arrived, our table by the pool was ready & waiting. From the reviews I had read of the Pool, I was not sure exactly what to expect except the room where I had dined several times before it became The Pool. The meal & experience couldn’t have been better. The staff was very attentive taking care of our every need & want. And the food was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by the check as well, expecting it to be much more. Also, loved the music! Thanks for a perfect evening.

    İn order to reach the restaurant Pool we had to pass the restaurant the Grill where the noise level was so disturbing, we thought we came to Pool and really scared! However, at the Pool everything was perfectly designed, decoration, noise level and the setting of the tables. The food , the wine list and the service was perfectly organized; it is an expensive restaurant but when you leave places like this after a great taste in your mouth you think that it’s well deserved and think to come agsin in the future..
