The food at the Boathouse is always good but the service is always exceptional and that’s really the reason why I go back. The people make the place in my opinion, especially our waiter Michael who never fails to ensure a wonderful dining experience.

The host, our server and the manager were most attentive to our needs, right down to providing blankets until we warmed up! The coconut pacific cod and the fish and chips were exceptional.

The food, as always, was terrific as was the service. The only negative note was the price of the crab legs - $100! I hadn't inquired what the MP was so it's my own fault, but I was taken aback at the price. The crab was great though!

I ordered the avocado toast with egg whites. For $20 there should have been two toasts not one, also the fruit had not taste. This was poor value.

We had a lovely meal for our date night at the Boathouse, starting with the Calamari and a couple of glasses of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. My husbands Sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and my Lamb Shank was so tender and delicious. We ended our meal by sharing the Black Forest cake and were not disappointed. Our server Jess was wonderful and our entire experience was delightful.

Cesar salad and sea food chowder soup.Wedge Cesar salad was hard to eat with long romaine lettuce and touch of dressing, Seafood chowder portion was small and both the wedge salad and chowder soup was tasteless. Won’t be going back any time soon

A girlfriend and I came in for a workday lunch (although we did also enjoy a glass of wine...shhh) Our server Kyle was friendly, prompt and professional. He gave us enough space to enjoy our conversation privately, but was there when we needed him. There was a good selection of wines by the glass, at various price ranges. The lobster bisque on the feature menu was to die for. A large portion and quite delicious. I also had a salmon burger and asked for it without the bun. It came perfectly prepared, with crispy seasoned fries. We had no room for dessert. It's not a cheap lunch, but the food and service were worth it. We will definitely be back.

We went for a Thanksgiving turkey dinner but I’m allergic to garlic. There was garlic in the mashed potatoes and stuffing so ordered the scallops and shrimp instead. The shrimp, which were large and delicious were opposite to the scallops which were under cooked to the point that I didn’t finish them. With very small children (cute but very noisy squealing) two tables away and an unenjoyable eating experience I was very disappointed.

Not busy at all but astonishingly slow service with no acknowledgement of this. Took over an hour for food (lunch) to arrive after ordering and it's also pretty expensive, even compared to inflated prices everywhere.

We had gathered with family that had not seen each other in some time & thankfully it was a sunny warm October day and perfect for outdoor dining. While our sever was pleasant enough, there were times when we were forgotten about and there were instances when things were forgotten (a piece of cutlery, pepper, water etc.) that were uncomfortably long. It's a seafood restaurant and sports a lengthily offering of local(?) fish but the end product does not warrant the high price. I ended up sharing a platter for 2. Flavour was bland for the most part. The Salmon was perfect, however as were the accompanying veggies. Prawn skewers were, meh and I almost forgot about the lobster tail for obvious reasons. The steak that came with was nothing special. We were not asked how we liked our steak prepared (unusual) & I burned off more calories cutting through it than consuming it. Asked for pepper and a shaker was dispatched (Not fresh cracked). The feeling left, was this might be a restaurant trying to charge a premium as a higher end restaurant but not quite being able to pull it off. Fortunately, our family visit was pleasant but I credit the weather, location and the spirits for that.

For such a pricey place they missed a menu item (all lamb was cooked for other guestsand the rest was frozen). One dish was undercooked, another was missing ingredients. While the steak was prepared perfectly and precisely as ordered, the whole dish was so tiny and obviously overpriced. We had to ask for missing cutlery (dish came without it). Sheets were not clean.

The perfect spot for a business lunch Great table with a view. Tables are spaced well to give you a little privacy. Excellent service great value food options and our meals were excellent. Highly recommend

I booked this for a lunch business meeting for a group of 7 people. Food was good. Filet melted in my mouth. Ambiance was quiet with a great view. Creme Brule was delivered to the table topped with salt instead of sugar. It was corrected quickly and taken off our bill. Kyle was a great server and very attentive.

Overpriced food does not make it good. We only go to the Boathouse maybe one or twice a year and that is because we are always disappointed. The food is super expensive for what you get. We always think we’ll, it’s a year or six months or whatever maybe they’ve gotten better because they are still open so we try again. This time the only reason we went was because a good friend gave us a gift certificate as an anniversary gift. As usual, we were disappointed. The only reason I gave a three star rating is because my daughter, who came with us, liked her meal. Will never go back there. We are tired of being charged high prices for stuff we wouldn’t eat for free.

Overall we were all(6 people) pleased with our meal - only exception being nothing on menu identifies as GF and when asking what was available, extremely limited. When eating out you like to choose something you don't generally have so our one GF guest had little choice and was very disappointed.

Dylan our server was great. Chowder was very good as was the house salad. My steak was ordered medium rare was closer to medium well. Salmon was tasty but also a little over cooked. Had not been in a long time. Enjoyable evening

The cajun fish tacos were okay; two miniscule pieces of fish in each taco; lots of slaw; the fries were crispy and plentiful. Our server was excellent. Did not rush us but was attentive whenever a water glass or drink order needed a refill.
