Established in 1991, this is the original B.B. King’s Blues Club located in Memphis, Tennessee, the home of American blues music, legendary musicians, famous barbecue, historic landmarks and great basketball.     We had reservations there was a cover charge. The live band was AWESOME!! It took a long time for us to get our food a couple came in after us got their food before us.

    What can I say? It was Memphis Barbecue at it’s best, at the best location for the Blues! Everyone was so helpful and positive, which was typical of our week in Memphis. I don’t have any negative comments about anything, other than it took a few minutes after you opened before you cranked up the Blues music! After that, all was great. Thanks again.

    Just as we remembered from 8 years ago, the bbq ribs at BB Kings are superb. Falling off the bone tender, moist, and delicious. Our 4-rib orders each had 5 ribs. The slaw was just right - not too sweet or soupy, and the baked beans had nice chunks of meat in them. These are the best ribs we've had anywhere in the country (and we've traveled all over - more than 100,000 miles in our motorhomes over the last 13 years!)

    We weren’t seated. There is not an accessible entrance for guests who use wheelchairs. We did not eat here, although it looked great, and we wanted to dine at B. B. King’s, it just wasn’t possible.

    Everything was lovely except the hushpuppies. I had soo been looking forward to them but they were room temp, not warm and were very dense & dry Catfish was AMAZING !!

    Some of the best ribs I’ve had. Memphis Jones band is a must see!!!! They love what they do, and I loved the history of Memphis that he spoke about.

    I ordered the catfish and shrimp 🍤 platter and the food was hot, fresh and delicious. My two sisters 👯‍♀️ ordered the cheeseburger 🍔 plate and they stated everything was exceptional.

    The food was excellent and my ribs were the best this side of the Mississippi. The wifes catfish was also second to none, Our waitress was also the best we have had while in Memphis. Highly recommended by us for food service, and later on music… Blues Boy King, Rock On !

    I enjoyed the overall experience, but didn’t care for the waitress whose tables I ended up in for a while. I’d asked to be moved to an area that wasn’t so cold and my waitress obliged me. She put me in an area that supposedly belonged to a waitress who had a large party that would be there. I saw her face when my waitress explained why I was there. She wasn’t happy and she proceeded to treat me as if I was a problem. She eventually asked me to move and I told her no. I was eventually given a better table, but that interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. It was my birthday and she almost ruined my day. She made such a big deal about nothing. I was alone, so I wasn’t in her way for her party. I’ll always remember so if I ever return, I hope never to see her again

    Best Ribs in Memphis, great music, excellent staff, loved this place went to the first show at 5pm!! Wish we would have seen the house band but we were told the area is sketchy after dark and not advised for out of town guests because of the crimes. We had a blast definitely recommend this place…got to see the guitar BB King played named Lucille, upstairs on the loft. Don’t forget to check out the piano bar on the third floor.

    We ended up going to BB Kings later than our reservation. Catfish was delicious. They also charged $10 each just to go in. They donot take that cover charge off even if you spend $60.

    Fully booked for the evening so we booked for lunch. $10 live music cover charge which wasn't mentioned when booking! Then the band went off for their break after we had been there about 10 minutes. We only had a band for about half the time we were there so feel a bit ripped off. Otherwise food and band good.

    My Sisters and I had the best experience. It was our first time in Memphis and the Club was absolutely awesome. Our Server (Joann?) was so friendly and the entertainment was great. Looking forward to coming back.

    It was dark and smelled horrible....our table was dirty,the bathroom was dirty,the whole place was just dirty.... We sat there around 10 min waiting on a waitress that never came.... The whole experience was terrible.... We drove 4 hours for a birthday experience and left with only a bad one....never ordered....just left.... Memphis never again.... Go to the one in Nashville!!!

    Very poor service! Party of 11 did not receive all of the food ordered, items missing off of dinner plates, requested water did not receive, had to request silverware. Servers and management had attitudes. Awful experience. Would not recommend.
