Excellent Turkish food and the service was great!
John greeted us wonderfully at the host stand. There was a mix up with our reservation and he stayed on top of everything. We were seated quickly. The food and ambiance were great. We were very impressed with the wine list. I had the lamb shank and business partners had curry and kabobs.
We were excited to dine here. We were seated immediately since we had made a reservation. There would have been quite a wait. The service was poor. Perhaps because they were so busy. Bread was cold before oil arrived. Server actuallty told us they were out of olive oil. (Although every menu item has olive oil in the ingredients.) The host brought it over after we asked him while he was seating another party. Beer arrived with the meal when it had been ordered before we placed our food order. Ordered sautéed spinach. Being non-dairy I asked that it be made with olive oil. It never arrived. When I asked, server said it was made with butter. It’s made to order...so I think she probably forgot to put it in...
Food was good. Stuffed eggplant was quite good....although mine arrived (non-dairy) with yogurt on top.
Issues seemed server related. I’d give it another shot...
I wouldn’t call this genuine Turkish food.
Experience was excellent. Foods amazing!
Food was excellent and service top notch. Highly recommend to anyone visiting downtown Atlanta.
Sherif was our server and did an excellent job explaining different foods and the history of them. Our meal was very good. Been tenderloin kabobs and the stuffed eggplant was awesome. Portions were good. Babaganoush was excellent too. Would come back to this restaurant again.
The service was friendly from the moment we walked in the door. They took us to our seats and made us feel right at home. Our server was knowledgeable about the food, culture and gave great recommendations. The Turkish Coffee was delicious and we went with the falafel as an app. Yum!! The doner kebab entree was melt in your mouth delicious. We will definitely be back. They also had a bellow dancer which made for a fun evening.
The host and server were very professional and provided excellent customer service. This was my first Turkish dining experience and possibly my last. I was not impressed with the menu items at all. My lunch selection, beef tenderloin, was delivered cold/warm and very tough. I decided against ordering a replacement or warming the meat as it was already tough. The rest of the my dining party appeared to enjoy their selections but none looked appetizing to my palate.
As a lover of coffee, I regret that I forgot to order a cup of Turkish coffee until on my way out.
2nd time dining here in 1 week.
Great food. The staff was very attentive. Get the lamb shish kebab!
The food is worth the wait.
Food was excellent! Service was average.
This restaurant was a welcome surprise. We were able to get reservations when we wanted them and were welcomed immediately upon arrival. There were plenty of options, including vegetarian. The bread sticks were wonderful and the meal itself was delicious. The portion size was more than either of us could finish. Overall I recommend this restaurant to others.
Excellent all the way around.
Great food, pleasant service
Delicious food and great service. Quiet atmosphere except when belly dancer entertaining. Very authentic food, music and entertainment!
Loved the pizza with the ricotta stuffed crust!! Friendly staff, great service, and a casual atmosphere.
A group of 8 colleagues and myself had a wonderful experience. The service was incredibly friendly, fast and accommodating. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Importantly, the menu featured a variety of options that were vegetarian and gluten free.
I have been here several times over the years and always enjoyed it. However this time the service was a little lacking, the server forgot to bring our drinks and forgot one completely. The food as ever was excellent but they do tend to turn up the music too high when the dancer/s come out making any kind of conversation impossible for the duration.
Good food, good Service. Nice gem off the beaten path in downtown ATL. Great secret spot for dinner during DragonCon!!
Best Turkish food in Atlanta area that I’ve tasted so far. Turkish husband, so I have some frame of reference :)
Most boring Turkish food ever. Overcooked, bland and expensive. Drinks are cheesy too. They are over priced with bottom shelf liquor and Sprite. Yep get your favorite cocktail mixed with Sprite. Shameful.
Great experience as always! The food was great starting with the appetizers! Service was awesome and noise level was good! Every time we are in downtown Atlanta we eat here and this place never disappoints!
Great food with a few European culinary styles to choose from. Staff is down-to-earth, friendly, attentive, and genuine. Food presentation is very good. Wine list needs improvement. A special place where you can foucs on conversation and food without distractions of the "Restaurant" getting in the way.
We really enjoyed the food and ambiance at the restaurant. The selection was great and accommodated those in our group with food allergies and gluten-free. Wine list was good and the service was good. Would definitely come back again for Mediterranean food!
For appetizers, we started with the calamari which was chewy and not cooked right. The beef and lamb kabobs were good andthe portions were average size , not as big as some reviews stated. The equivalent of an espresso was served at the end with great presentation, but half the cup was coffee grind sludge. The lighting was low with no windows. 2.7 stars, but i rounded up to 3.
Really good Turkish food. I highly recommend! The fresh bread is amazing and the lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly.
This was our second visit to Truva, we stumbled upon this place when we were roaming through downtown and really liked the food and ambiance. This time around although service and the food was good my wife who is a vegetarian didn't had any option other than Cigar shaped cheese rolls and falafel. They were out of all the vegetarian entrees this time around. I would say kebab was really good, but it was a bit bland for my taste. I had to ask for a side of spicy sauce to finish it.
Overall experience was good, but I expect a restaurant to have full menu available at- least over the weekend and when it is an early dinner hour. We visited the place at 7 PM in the night.
The food was excellent. Staff was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely dine here again next time I’m in the city.
Very predictable Mediterranean fare. The moussaka had very little eggplant, and seemed to be covered with melted cheese rather than bechamel sauce.
Everything was AMAZING. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Really great experience! This will be one of my "must do" when I visit Atlanta.
This was a very enjoyable dinner for us and first time at a Turkish restaurant. Nice experience and we enjoyed the cultural experience including the dances during dinner. We will be back next time we are in Atlanta.
Thanks to Mr.Oktay, we had a wonderfull dinner after a long day.
Lahmacun was perfect and iskender was recommendable.
This is perfect for date night, you can have a conversation and actually hear each other! Servers are amazing, it has a chilled vibe especially on a Sunday and the food is really good !
The chicken kebabs were very, very tough, almost like the chicken was old and over-cooked.
We had an early Father’s Day dinner. The food was delicious. I had salmon and my husband had lamb.
Dinner was great as always. The belly dancers are fun to watch. The kebab platter for 2 is enough for 4. Stuffed cabbage appetizer is wonderful.
