A New American Tavern, Russell House Tavern is a comfortable gathering spot for every occasion-from casual lunch breaks on the patio to after-work cocktails in the upstairs tavern to functions in the private dining room and everything in between. Russell House Tavern delivers a seasonally-inspired menu of modern interpretations of American classics, including signatures like the R. House Burger, a selection of Tavern Pizzas and Steak Frites among other dishes. To complement the menu, Russell House Tavern serves an interesting collection of all-American wines, including two regional wines on tap, and a locally-driven craft beer selection. The hostess, very kindly, seated us early at an available outdoor table. The cocktails were excellent. The chicken wings were a tasty starter thanks to the sambal. The mains were okay but the mussels with fries were better. All in all, staff was very accommodating.

We were surprised at the quality of both of our meals. I had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection. The veggies and grain it came with were delicious. The Caesar salad was very fresh with a nice amount of cheese and not overly dressed. Pasta bolognese was full of meat in delicious sauce and delicious.

We had the earliest seating for brunch at 10 am. Our server was very friendly despite being short staffed. The restaurant is beautiful and it was a quiet morning there. Only 2 other tables were seated downstairs with us. We had a group of 5 and easily shared the breakfast pizza and 1 order of cinnamon rolls in addition to our main plates. I would come back again for the lunch or dinner menu!

Perfect choice for light meal. We enjoyed the Russell House burger and flatbreads. Copious, delicious fries. Non-alcoholic cocktail and draft beers. Appreciated the elevator for seating on ground floor. Zack gave good service and we lingered for more conversation without feeling hassled.

This restaurant was terrific!! The calamari was outstanding. I got the short rib grill cheese and fries and they were delicious. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend!
