About

At the Daily Dish, the focus is on comfort food that is seasonally inspired, sustainable and locally sourced. We believe that the Farm to Fork experience benefits everyone from small farmers to our diners. We visit local produce markets to purchase seasonal, fresh produce. Our pita, focaccia & pizza dough are made daily. Our salmon & chicken are organic. We use fresh, pasture fed beef. We make our mozzarella, pickles, sauces, dressings & vinaigrettes in house from scratch. The cocktail bar has local tap beer, fun cocktails and a varied wine list. We follow these principles to cater your special event.

Neighborhood gem of a restaurant with excellent food. Some of the servers here are incredible--Ari and Daniel in particular. They really have some nicely done and creative food which you wouldn't expect. I eat here at least once a week and never get tired of the menu. The Caesar salad is one of the best Caesars I've ever had. The peach cobbler is fantastic.

Great service, excellent food, good value. Everyone in our party of 6 really enjoyed The Daily Dish. I wish that I lived closer for weeknight carry-out.
We did have some issues with 3-4 flies in our seating area in front by the garage-like window-doors. When asked about the flies, our server simply said "Yes, sometimes it's a problem when the doors have been open." Not the best reply. After waving menus for 20 minutes, the flies went away.
BTW - We chose not to move our group's seating towards the back of the restaurant away from the flies because the temperature was really much too hot back there (closer to the brick oven).
In spite of this, I want to return to try more dishes on the menu.

The server could not have been more welcoming and accommodating, but the food was lackluster and overpriced. After having read several reviews before-the-fact, I (and my other dining companions) were quite disappointed.

We missed their awesome brunch on Saturday, but still took advantage of a most delicious lunch. My companion had the lobster, goat cheese, and asparagus omelette and I had what was probably the best BLT ever. It really matters when the tomatoes are in season, but, then again, the sandwich has bacon on it so what can be wrong? Accompanied by a bottle of the Alexander Valley Rose of Sangiovese and you have a stellar afternoon.

Our appetizers arrived very late. The server checked several times to prod kitchen staff and when we finally got them, he said they would be written off the bill. Very nice action! Our halibut was tasty and our guest's scallops very delicious.

This is a fine close by restaurant, which we now frequent often.

In the past I was not a big fan of what is a nearby restaurant for us, but this visit changed my view. Red snapper was terrific, food in general was good with a reasonably varied menu and service was excellent. Overall, a very satisfying evening.

The food here is outstanding. Best chicken Caesar I've ever had. Their specials are usually top notch also. Wide selection of choices and great quality food. My only complaint is the ventilation. The restaurant gets very smoky when they are cooking and if you sit toward the middle to back of the place your clothes will reek of smoke/grease when you leave. The management really needs to address this.

Daily Dish is not just a neighborhood gem but a diamond. Delicious food, attentive service and reasonable prices are reasons we keep coming back. With new specials all the time the menu offers a wide variety of options from pub grub to gourmet. Seafood dishes (cod, soft shell crab and scallops) are all highly recommended but other dishes are equally good.

My wife and I decide to go out on dinner date. We had been been at this restaurant for lunch. We arrive and promptly seated and ordered. The food came and was tasty. We never saw our server again after the food was delivered. We waited for 30 minutes to fill our drinks and order desert. We were told the waiter left and was not coming back. There was little coordination to have us served. My recommendation to Managment is to have better process in place when staff leave during a shift.

We love this place and go all the time for weekend brunch. We keep meaning to go for dinner one night but just haven't made it yet. In terms of brunch, it's generally really solid. We almost always get the Eggs Benedict (they have a few varieties). The brunch potatoes are awesome, though we've noticed lately that something has changed and they're not as good as they once were: instead of being crispy and wonderful, they're less cooked and little soggy. I hope this gets corrected soon.

The staff is great and they've gotten to know us. It's definitely a local, friendly place and you can tell. Certainly worth a visit for the value, food, and service.

I wish every neighborhood had a bistro like the Daily Dish; many don't. I consider myself lucky to be in close proximity to such a wonderful eatery. Anything you order here is going to be good. My last visit was for brunch and, as always, it did not disappoint. The huevos rancheros were a pleasant surprise on the menu as well as the lobster, goat cheese and asparagus omelette. You throw in a make your own Bloody Mary bar and you are starting the day off right!

Decided to try someplace new. Good food, good service, but smaller and more cramped than expected. Bathrooms, as a male standing at a urinal and my feet slide while trying to take a leak, it’s too greasy. This just means the floor cleaning techniques suck. Probably won’t be going back.

I read several reviews of how food the was. However, each of us in my party were underwhelmed with the Eggs Benedict and chicken and waffles that we ordered. I probably wouldn't return. But the environment itself was nice and we had a nice table facing outside. I don't want to deter anyone from going to try it out. Maybe there are other menu items that are better.

We were seated quickly. Three of us got the Fritatta, it was terribly over cooked , almost burnt. Coffee delicious and were given refills. Waiter seemed distracted and we had to ask repeatedly for basic things like butter and jam for toast. Very nice brunch menu. We were there on Sunday and it was quite busy. I will go again.

My two friends and I had a lovely Mother's Day brunch at The Daily Dish. Jeremy, our waiter, was on top of everything. Each of our meals were delicious. We did not have any alcohol. But I did love their soy Latte. And they had freshly made blueberry scones that were melt-in-your-mouth good. I had the lox and bagel, my friends had the Two Eggs any style with a fresh greens salad and the vegetable frittata. Everyone left quite satisfied and looking forward to coming again next week!

Service was very slow. It took a very long time to get our burgers and our dessert.

The dessert came with the wrong ice cream on it. We order it because the menu listed we could get it with black raspberry ice cream. It came with chocolate ice cream. When we told our waiter he told us there were black raspberries in the chocolate. There was not. When we asked him to change the ice cream to the black raspberry he told us they didn’t have any. Why didn’t he say so in the first place, come and tell us, then ask what other flavor we would like.

Food is good but the service was so slow and lackadaisical we won’t hurry to go back.

Thus was our second time there and the service was very slow during our first visit as well.
