We had a great time at your restaurant. It was a double birthday and we enjoyed how they put the little streamers on the table. Food was excellent, I really enjoyed the turkey soup and the spaghetti Siracusa was delicious. And the little dessert provided at the end for our birthday really was impressive. Little things like that go a long way and we will definitely recommend to all our friends

Less than expected from our memory of the fabulous food a few years ago. Large portions but lightly seasoned for the expected ethnic flavors of the dishes we tried. Music in the room was too loud to satisfy our request for a quiet corner table. Service by Paul almost made up for our disapointment in the food - outstanding attention to our every need.

Always a treat to come here, from the welcome at the door through the entire experience you feel special. A favorite place for us and never disappoints. We feel so lucky to have this special restaurant right here in our town. Whether it is for a special occasion or just a good hamburger this is our go to place.

This was my first time dining at Fandango’s. The restaurant is in a cozy little neighborhood. What a darling restaurant tucked into the trees. We had a wonderful table for two, right in front of the fireplace. It was just beautiful! We ordered cocktails, appetizers, salads and two entrees. The food was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I can’t wait to come back again.

Our first time …so impressed with the building and the small room layout. Food was excellent, starting with the French Onion soup, the Filet Mignon entree and ending with the cream puff dessert. Service was great-given lots of attention. We will definitely return.

Food was mediocre and very over priced for what was served. The service was odd in that the server checked in regulary but was always rushed. He would not linger long enough for us to say anything or ask anything. He would stop by the table and already be walking away before we could say anything to him. Overall the ambiance of the restaurant is nice, but the food and service does not live up to the price.

We reserved Thanksgiving dinner at Fandango, and we were extremely pleased with our experience. The food all tasted fresh and authentic, and the Prix Fixe menu price was fair. Some places overcharge on holidays, not so with Fandango. Service was excellent. A very enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner

It’s my first time in the Monterey area so I carefully selected 3 restaurants and this was one of them. Unfortunately that was a mistake. The space and ambiance are great and it ends there. The restaurant’s menu is too large and confused about what cuisine it wants to be. Is it Spanish? Italian? Mediterranean? It’s hard to tell. 4 different people helped us in our time there and even still the service was nonexistent. The food? Decent but not memorable. Disappointed would be an understatement.

This was once a wonderful place for a special occasion! Unfortunately, the wait staff lacked a certain level of professionalism that you'd expect in a tourist driven economy. Note: Openly discussing the tip amounts (or the lack of) you received from a neighboring table is EXTREMELY tacky and reeks of entitlement. I experienced their service, and let me tell you ,it wasn't anything that blew me away. Also, a bill that includes a $10 bottle water, $6 soda (not once refilled), and a $6 shot of cold espresso will always be excluded from the total amount of tip 😉

The pan-seared sea scallops are fantastic. Focus on the specials—standard menu is very good (e.g., Osso bucco, lamb chops, chicken capri, etc.) but the specials at the bottom of the menu are amazing. As the restaurant fills up 6:30 PM on, the service is good, but not great. Food from the kitchen is always hot, but when it comes to dessert and coffee things can get out of sync. For this reason we start early around 5 PM or later around 8:00 PM.

I’ve been here many times. It’s become our go to place when we want a special evening or celebration. Last night was our 36th anniversary and we had such a nice time. Our host put streamers on the table! So cute. Jorge was attentive, cordial, and professional. He’s waited on us before but last night he doted on us a bit and we just adore him. Our food was wonderful, as usual. I do wish for more vegetarian options but my goat cheese salad and pasta dish were out of this world. Hubby had a steak and escargot - we shared 2 desserts and even some port. What fun! Thanks Fandango for such a lovely evening!

We had a wonderful experience at Fandango. Visiting from out of town, and traveling with a baby can be challenging to find nice places to dine. Fandango accommodated us, a party of 5 plus a baby, and not only provided us with a wonderful food experience but outstanding service. Everyone in our party enjoyed their entree selection. And I have to say that the lamb is outstanding..perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.

After reading all of the positive feedback and comments we were really expecting a wonderful meal and experience. Unfortunately my wife and I were disappointed in the food. Overall I would say that lack of flavor would be the theme of the meal. I had a paella and my wife did the filet and requested it medium and it was well cooked. The staff was nice but service felt slow and we know that he was working hard and covering a lot of tables. We really wanted to like this place but at this time I cannot recommend it.

Great experience especially introducing new guests to this fine establishment. The only comment is why a $40. Corkage fee - that’s a bit steep-however, the wine 🍷 list was extensive with good options.

We had a fabulous evening at Fandango, returning here while celebrating our 35th anniversary, after enjoying dining here on our honeymoon trip! The scallops and shrimp scampi were mouthwatering! Our server, Carlos, was delightful! The profiteroles and creme brûlée were delicious! A night we will always remember 🤗

We had a wonderful dining experience and the food was excellent! My usual dinner is the paella with the lobster but I don’t remember what my friends ordered. The noise level was high because we created a small party with the group next to us. Another family next to us was celebrating their daughters bday. I think we were in the back room which allowed for the noise level. Our server was Pedro?? He had been there for 21 years and he gave us excellent service!

Our server, Pedro, was excellent; the cocktails were delicious. The food let them down. The salmon papardelle was bland, the scalloped potatoes lacked any salt, and the duck was so overcooked it was grey, beyond chewy - inedible. They were lovely about it, and maybe their chef just had an off night.
