Brunch menu is boring and not very diverse. Waiter was not attentive. Service was slow. I do not like being given a required tip. I will tip according to what kind of service I get. Not going back.
Celebrated sister's birthday. Although, wish I had been more aware of the 17% gratuity that was auto added before I left another 20%!!
Had dinner there with a dear friend prior to seeing Waitress at the Pantages. Excellent friendly service and yummy healthy food choices. We parked our car in Valet got it and walked across the street for our theater. Only 20.00 with a stamp from Delphine’s made it so easy and fun. Will do again!! Highly recommend
Been eating here for several years before the shoe. Recently they changed their menu, and I have been disappointed in the options. There is just not enough fish, ...
This works very well for me, before attending the Pantages. However, when I started coming here, parking was only $9 and the restaurant prices were much cheaper. I have been quite satisfied with the food. The only drawback, other than the prices is the very long wait to get the car.
Really enjoyed myself. Food was great, service was awesome. Wine selection is limited here and the ambiance is middle-of-the-road.
Been here twice Good food. Good service. Had reservations and could have been given better seat. Didn’t get good table, couldn’t get booth and changed to better table.
food terrible, was brought to the table 4 minutes after ordering, therefore under a heat lamp.
Great food. The scallops were delicious! Great location across the street from the Pantages theatre.
Very disappointed. Made a reservation for dinner before a show at the Pantages. Although the location is great, the menu was very limited and too eclectic for our crowd. The service was horrible and when our meal was finally served, the food was terrible! I will not return.
We attend the Pantages about 6 times per year, eating at Delphine's at least half the time. We enjoyed their menu from the calamari, the wedge, onion soup, to their short ribs and steaks. This time, the menu has drastically changed. Most of our favorites were gone. The short ribs now come with a pasta rather than mashed potatoes--not a good change. The different choices of steaks were replaced with 12-oz?? "Somethingloin". It was so tough that we had to literally saw at it with a steak knife.
Speaking of a knife, we had to ask for the steak knife. Our initial service of a fork and knife were never replaced nor added to, although we had salads and an entree. Our side of mashed cheesy potatoes (very good) was served, sans spoon.
I can't tell you how disappointed we were--it was like losing a good friend.
Inside area was so noisy even when empty we opted to sit outside even though it was overly warm. Could not taste the lobster or brie cheese in the lobster croissant sandwich. Lobster chopped too small to be recognizable and combined with overly acidic ingredients. Service at beginning was fine. But when we ordered dessert there was an exceptionally long wait for items that just need to be dished up. We started to cancel dessert since we were concerned with being late to Pantages performance. They automatically add an 18% service chge even with only 3 diners. We just caught that at then end. If on the menu it should be more prominently displayed. We almost paid another 20%
We were looking for a nice spot to eat prior to a show at the Pantages. The menu options were totally sufficient for Sunday Brunch. We had the Eggs Benedict and topped it off with some Gelato. There were plenty of wine choices too. The service was great, from the moment we walked in the door the hostess was very nice and accommodating. Our server was very friendly, helpful and around when we need him. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a European vibe yet modern. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was a great way to start our day. The next time we are going to the Pantages for a show we will definitely revisit Delphines.
We have been there several times. The food while ok seems to have declined.
The service was amazing! Tara was our waitress and she is awesome. I observed her handling some pretty difficult guests and she did it with such grace and patience. The food is to die for! And the espresso martini OMG!
GREAT place to lunch before a Saturday Pantages show ... right across the street. ASK FOR A BOOTH ... the chairs at the tables are horribly uncomfortable - other than that the place was great.
Very good food, excellent sangria and great service
Food was bland and not very inspiring. As return customers that was surprising. Restaurant was almost empty on a Friday night for dinner yet the service was slow and inattentive. Overall disappointing experience for a special night out.
Always reliable comfort food. Nice variety...good presentation. Always friendly efficient service.
Easy walk across the street to the Pantages theater is why we were there. Overpriced at $24 cheeseburger was good but would not return just for the food.
Our waiter/bartender Chris was fantastic. Treated us well and his recommendations for both food and drinks were great.
Restaurant service and food were excellent on every way. Always have great dining experiences
Great food, great service, convenient valet parking, perfect place to dine before attending a play across the street at the Pantages Theater.
I'd visited Delphine twice before and had good experiences. That said, I was really disappointed with our service last night. Our waitress was M.I.A. most of the time and blamed all mistakes on the food runners. She did not know the daily specials or ingredients in certain dishes when asked. We were headed to see a show at the Pantages Theater so time was a factor. We ordered coffee with our dessert which made it to the table about 15 minutes after we finished the dessert. It's a very convenient location when going to the Pantages but the food/service quality is really lacking.
The food is not very good I have eaten there since you opened and I loved it last two times was not very goo my guests and myself were disappointed with the menu and the food the menu before was much better
Waiter was covering too many tables. Service was slow. Food was good.
Scallops over cooked and were chewy. Halibut over cooked and dry. Had to ask for lemon to give it some flavor. Parking is $20. A 17% service charge is automatically included and calculated on the drinks and food. The sales tax is calculated on the entire bill. I don't believe the service charge should be included in calculating the sales tax. If going to the Pantages, recommend parking for the same price across the street or walking a few blocks for $10 and going to another nearby restaurant.
Always excellent service AND food! Perfect for before or after attending musical at Pantages. The new menu is excellent !!!!
Mediocre food which is to be expected from a hotel restaurant. Expensive but not tasty. Parking was $20 on top of the meal.
And no one was in the restaurant. Completely dead. I wouldn’t recommend.
Always come here before the show at Pantages. The usual great food and service was different this time. A different menu that didn’t inspire us like before, and service was sub par at best. We hope this isn’t a sign of a new trend. We’ll try once more before a final opinion.
Always enjoy having a meal at Delphine's before seeing a play at the Pantages.
The location is very convenient for dinner before a show at The Pantages. Having said that, the waiter was slow and not very attentive. It could be that they add a mandatory gratuity to the bill, even for a party of two. My biggest issue was that I ordered chicken and it was undercooked and very pink but by the time the waiter came to check on us, it was too late as we had to get to our show. The brownie dessert was meh... tasted a little stale. My friends short-rib pasta was good.
Usually our go to spot before Pantages for 2 years, but not anymore. New chef + new manager = not a good experience. The wine list looked like the bottom shelf at Trader Joe’s, and the pasta tasted like it.
I chose this place based on location and high stars on Yelp. The food was shockingly bad. A packaged salad from Trader Joe's would have had more flavor and been less corse than the kale salad with chicken. I don't know how one makes a Hamachi crudo with chili taste bland but somehow they managed. The waiter was young and kind but totally clueless.
Date night. Hostess very rude. Waitress and food excellent. We were 10 min early and hostess would not seat us until our res time. Walking got seated right away. Delphine’s was cordial in the past, but not anymore. Next time will seek somewhere else in the area
WE usually go to Delphine when we are going to the Panatage Theater. It is perfect, directly across the street. The food is always good and ease of use is great.
Way overpriced and the menu choices, which used to be very good, are no longer as appealing. They must have a new chef who lacks the creativity and experience to justify the very high prices.
Great food! Service was awesome! Very convenient to visit after seeing a show at thepantages.
We always enjoy Delphine before going to The Pantages. The risotto was excellent! Our server, Colleen, was outstanding. We will ask to dit in her area next time.
I have eaten at Delphine's many times and it is our place to go before a show at the Pantages. I was extremely disappointed when I took my granddaughter and found that the menu had changed and did not have any of my old favorites. The desserts were also not enticing, which might have been a good thing. I also am tired of them putting a 17% gratuity on the bill for even one person and then don't service you well.
We had reservations for Saturday there again before Adam Trent but I have cancelled that reservation. I did let the front desk know that I was not happy with the changes and it appears others have also complained. Maybe they will get the hint and get their regular menu back. I guess they don't know the old saying "If it's not broken, don't fix it".
