Drinks were good, ordered an old fashioned and a martini. Water glasses went empty The majority of the evening, despite several helpers dropping off the food. Appetizer and Main course were served at the same time. Garlic sour dough bread was ok, but not even warm. Must’ve been sitting awhile. Our waitress was hardly around but pleasant. Clam chowder lacked flavor and thickness. Sole was boring and bland also, but cooked well. Mashed potatoes weren’t even worth eating. We sat inside along the glass, but felt like other people were at our table once they sat on the patio only a pane of glass away, and also instructed our view. Spent over $100 on one meal, an app, bowl of chowder and two drinks. Could’ve been much better. But it’s about what’s expected in a such a touristy area

Food was amazing but little things would have made it perfect. Water & lemon to wash your hands at the table after handling crab. Also, I stated it was a birthday celebration and they did not even mention it. Bit pricey too so if you want to spend less just go to the Bodin cafe.

Super sympathisches Bistro mit wunderbarem Brot. Suppen im Brotkorb und Pizzas sind sehr zu empfehlen. Tolle Ambiance, super Aussicht, sehr nette und kompetente Kellner. Zusätzlich ist zu erwähnen, dass man Einblick in die riesige Bäckerei kriegt.

The steak sandwich was delicious, the ribs were amazing but I thought the sole was a tasty but small dish in comparison and for the price. Server was friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

The Bistro is definitely pricey but we found it to be worth it. My steak cut like butter and my husband really enjoyed his crab. Not a lot on the menu for picky teens but my kids did find something and they enjoyed what they ordered.

While waiting to be seated, our family enjoyed going around the Boudin museum and learn about the history of the Bistro and the famous soursough. We’re just thankful that we had reservation thru Open Table since the Bistro is usually full packed. We love the ambiance because of the view of the bay and other establishments in the area. Servers were real helpful and accomodating. The food were delicious specially the chowder in the sourdough breadbowl. We also loved the sourdough garlic bread and the dungeness crab spinach dip. The fresh oysters were fantastic. We ordered the surf and turf where the lobster and steak were simply great. I had the halibut, it was yummy but a little bit too well done. Mu daughter and nephew and niece liked the fish and chips. Ohh, the Strawberry Guava Lemonade cocktail was a sure treat. We highly recommend Boudin to everyone specially to grouos and families with kids.

Had the crab mac & cheese, too good as always. When it came to desert, the gelato arrived shot through with ice. Apparently, it had been in the freezer too long and at some point, partially thawed and then was refrozen. We requested the gelato's replacement, and a new dish was promptly provided. Always dine upstairs and preferably a window seat.
