Not the best experience dining in on a week night and pretty much ignored by staff. The trout almandine and Beet salad was quite good. I suppose if your a regular you get attentive here and if not you don’t. We had to get up to ask for a dessert menu and then 20 minutes later no one came to take a dessert order so we decided to have dessert home. Years ago there was no better Italian restaurant in the city and now it’s ok but not superlative. My friend’s sole francais was fishy.

Amazing! Enjoyed every single little moment. Great tasty and fresh food. The specials for the day the server recommended was delicious. The timing for the food was also on point! I don’t say this often but I will definitely be coming back to eat here!

What a wonderful gem in Brooklyn! Food and service was perfect and delicious. We took our time and they did not rush us out either. Highly recommended. Even the owner stopped by our table to chat. This restaurant has been in business for 40 years!

Delicious food and fantastic service at this upscale Brooklyn Italian spot. A nice wine list and good stiff drinks. Fried artichokes, oysters Rockefeller, and burrata with prosciutto for appetizers were all excellent. Burrata was the winner. The house pasta made in the cheese wheel was amazing, but the entrees were all excellent. Our waiter was friendly and professional as was the entire staff. Tiramiau, affogato, creme brule, and chocolate mouse all made in house and all were great.

Great place to meet with friends and have a good meal with excellent service. Enjoyed the risotto with seafood; the pork chop was very good and the pasta infused with wine and mixed in a cheese wheel was great. Friendly atmosphere.

Had not been to this restaurant since the pandemic started. I had a reservation for mid afternoon on a Sunday. The restaurant was extremely noisy in the main dining room and I was not able to get the desired table in the side room on Union Street. The service could have been better, as the wrong dishes were initially brought to the table. Although I was celebrating my wife’s birthday, no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. Very disappointing!

We recently dined at Marco Polo in February… very disappointed! The menu changed… no table cloths! It doesn’t have the beautiful atmosphere it always had. We have gone here for years but not anymore unless they bring back the elegance and charm. Very sad.

Our waiter was terrible. Never came to the table after taking our order. Did not check to see we need anything else. We had to request the creamer for the coffee ordered, butter for our bread, including requesting water.

From the moment we entered the charming and helpful hostess made us feel welcomed as if we were regular clients even though it was our first time. The Maitre D' made every effort to make us feel comfortable, explained the specials, and made wonderful suggestions for the food and the wine. Overall we had a lovely dinner at this authentic Italian Restaurant.

This restaurant’s menu is always featuring new items, so much so that it’s often difficult to decide what to have. I’ve found that whatever is ordered, we’re never disappointed. If you don’t see what you want on the menu, just ask, because they will cook it up for you. The staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. Recommend highly.
