Le Sauce: Gough est un restaurant qui sert une « cuisine sociale » : des plats américains réconfortants si bons que vous aurez envie d'inviter tout le monde à goûter à votre assiette. C'est une nourriture à partager sans les minuscules assiettes. Venez goûter aux créations du chef Ben, ainsi qu'à quelques boissons de l'intimiste Supper Club; prenez place dans un confortable siège près du magnifique bar en séquoia pour un cocktail de spécialité ou profitez d'un repas dans la trépidante salle à manger principale. Découvrez ce qui arrive quand la cuisine réconfortante vient à la rencontre de la Californie. Il en ressort une bisque de tomates avec bâtonnets de fromage à la truffe blanche grillée, des champignons portobello frits et, la spécialité de la maison, le pain de viande enrobé de bacon fumé au bois de pommier. Vous trouverez de quoi mettre vos sens en éveil. Situé à seulement quelques pâtés de maisons du centre communautaire de Hayes Valley, le Sauce: Gough est le résultat accueillant de la volonté de trois partenaires de créer un endroit confortable pour boire et manger. Le Sauce est l'endroit tout indiqué pour un repas avant ou après un spectacle et pour tous vos événements privés. Le souper est servi tous les soirs de 17h et minuit.     Sad to see this place close but so glad we made it back one last time. Drove from the peninsula for the sendoff. Food is still as delicious as ever and enjoyed my favorite dessert, PB&J! We ate 7 dishes between 2 of us.

    I was running late and the restaurant held my reservation. Once I arrived ordering and serving of food was friendly, quick and unobtrusive. Food, especially the limited entrees available, is very good, and the shareable items are also fun and tasty

    As always, 5 across the board! It is sad this location is closing, but hopefully, qith the infusion os the Gough team, will change the dynamic of t IHG e Belden Lane location!

    The waiter dropped our drinks on the way to the table, and it was clear that he was new to wait staff, and inexperienced. However, there were other issues -- the music selection was a poor choice for this type of restaurant. The main courses were served at different times, causing the hot food to cool before we could eat as a table, and the last item to come out was the soup (showing that the delay was really the waiter and not the kitchen.) Then, to add insult to injury, without notice to me, the waiter added 20% tip automatically on a table for only 4 diners. We will not return.

    Picked Sauce blind before SF Symphony. Pleasantly pleased with dinner and convenience to Davies Hall. Not a lot of wines by the glass, but otherwise, a really good choice. We'll go again.

    From the street it's not particularly noticeable. The interior, on the other hand is nicely appointed and the bar is in a separate room from the main dining area, so it's fairly quiet. The food is prepared creatively and you will find it interesting as well as tasty. The owner and wait staff are attentive and friendly.

    I have been wanting to try Sauce for some time and was delighted. A good choice for before the symphony. Interesting menu with very attentive service.
