    Scalibut. Pear Salad. Creme Brulee. All amazing. Will crave the scalibut, so tender and flavorful. Waitress Kristen excellent. Lovely booth. Will come again!

    Excellent Again!! We love the Christmas lunches. I booked both Fridays this year. So we will return next Friday for a do over. Noel was our server and she was fantastic, fun and enthusiastic. Honestly GWFins is the only place that brings us into the city. We love the lunches so we can get back to the burbs before dark—lol. Thanks for always being Great!!❤️💚

    Fine dining is difficult to pull off - it takes a very effective combination of food, ambiance and service. In our opinion, GW Fins knocked it out of the park in just about every way conceivable. Our service - ALL of the GW Fins folks who helped serve us - was personable, pleasant and efficient. Our server Ryan was an 11/10 - we had a few questions and requests, and he took care of them all like a seasoned pro. Every one of our party thought the scalibut, sablefish and redfish entrees were out of this world delicious. The lobster dumplings, bbq shrimp and lobster bisque appetizers were also outstanding. If we had one nit, it was the chocolate mousse. It was more of a chocolate cake - a couple of people in our party were expecting something a little lighter. All in all, this WAS a fine dining experience and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you GW Fins - well done!

    One of the best if not the best New Orleans restaurants. Exciting and unique menu prepared to perfection. A very busy restaurant; however, that does not affect the excellent service.

    Unfriendly and rude, welcoming inside the door were forced to wait to sit in an empty restaurant complained to management and they did nothing very disappointed. Was looking forward to a reservation that I had had for months bummed.

    GW Fins is a quiet, lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of nearby Bourbon St. Our server, Cardell, was kind, enthusiastic, and provided wonderful food recommendations. Our dinner was delicious and we appreciated the extensive wine list. We will definitely be back the next time we visit New Orleans.

    Our table was ready right on time. Our server never rushed us but was always around when we needed him. Food was excellent! BBQ Shrimp app was delicious and not too spicy. We had the Sacalibut, Parmesan crusted sheep head and blackened swordfish. Everything was fantastic.

    I make reservations here every time I visit New Orleans. I am more amazed each time. The owners and management must be doing a superior job because the level of service and quality of food is unparalleled. I have never had a bad anything here. Not one disappointment in my five years dining here. Always excited to visit and bring friends. Last night, we had Ryan as our waiter. Exceptional service. We dined on Snapper tempura, triple wedge, Drum and Scallibut ( a must try for newbies). Can’t wait for our next visit in May!

    If you like seafood and especially fish and you want a life changing meal then look no further. GW-Fins is not only tasty but is very unique in the way they cook they're food. It's a foody dream!

    Food was excellent as always. Server could have been a little more attentive. One of our party was required to wear a provided collared shirt which was fine except for the fact that several tables around us had men with non-collard shirts so that was a little annoying.

    This was our first visit to GW Fins and we were not disappointed. Our servers were excellent and made great suggestions on menu items. Service was well paced and of course the food was outstanding. We will be back!

    We had a good time, service (Ashley) was excellent, my guests loved their food. I had the Scalibut, first time it wasn't great. Rubbery, lacked sauce, just not very good.

    It was very loud. However, it is New Orleans and the people watching was worth it. Our server was fantastic (Roderic) as was the food... both portion size and quality. Don't go for an intimate meal (football Saturday night), but I will definitely go again and again.

    Amazing seafood. Our table of four shared appetizers of lobster dumplings and tempura Fin fish “wings” and both were incredible. Our entrees were yellowfin tuna, herb crusted redfish, pan seared red snapper, and Scalibut, a GW Fins original, combining Halibut, sea scallops, royal red shrimp risotto, snow peas, pea shoot butter. All were delicious. For dessert we shared one piece of Salty Malty Ice Cream Pie. Yummy! Our waiter Aaron was informative without being intrusive, great personality. An A-plus experience.
