Grappa Italian Restaurant

Ended up eating at Grappa twice during our vacation. It was excellent and the place / meal we kept raving about To everyone. The grapes and Gorgonzola was out of this world but every single dish we had impressed!!
Our service was impeccable. The wait staff was very helpful with menu selection explanations and the food was fabulous!
Birthday dinner. Service was attentive, food came quickly and was good. Great evening.
Can’t say enough about the mushroom soup. Worth the price of admission.
Terrific setting and very good food.
Grappa cancelled our 25th Anniversary dinner date for 10/18 due to construction. Nice girl called and we remade a res for 10/28 even tho we were already staying at Deer Valley. Came back up on 10/28 and construction still going on. No call, no note. Nothing. Grappa Dark n closed. Spent some nice Anniversary’s there before. Won’t ever be going back!!! Very Angry!!!! Only rated Food Ambiance and Value to complete this review. Didn’t get to experience any of those...
Everything was just Okay. Needs some updating. It’s very tight. Service was lacking. I had to ask for bread and replacement utensils. Server seemed overwhelmed. Very slow bringing cocktails and not well timed with meal. Details like a broken hand rail tell the story.
Awful service. Food is really not worth the value. There are much nicer restaurants in Park City with better service and a better bang for your buck.
We had wonderful food, a lovely wait staff and the ambiance was perfect
Grappa does it right! Very intimate dining experience.
The waitress was short and my steak was medium well instead of the rare I had ordered.
The lobster ravioli were amazing. The antipasto was perfection. The table we had was in the corner by the large windows and was spectacular. The best table in house in my opinion. Just an expensive steak to be so over cooked.
Went with a party of 4. Every thing from the antipasto, soup, main course and dessert was delicious. Everyone in our party had nothing but raves for the various dishes. We would certainly highly recommend Grappa’s
Nothing special for the money. Salad was great but pasta dishes were mediocre
Staff was very welcoming and pleasant
Service was prompt
Great food, we keep coming back. We went on Monday night which is the local's night and they have special prices, however the menu was very confusing! even the servers complained about it and I overheard people talking about it as well. Overall it is a lovely place to eat, highly recommend.
Really great time. But we were seated right by the street with a pretty bad view when there were plenty of better tables available. Being shoulder season they could have done better
Our server, Matese, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Before selecting a bottle of wine with dinner, we were offered a sample of two wine varietals to help us make our decision. My only disappointment from our dining experience is they charged $.25 each for the sampling of wine on the bill. I do not recall ever being charged for a sampling of wine when we are purchasing a bottle. I hope they will review their policy related to this.
Grappa helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday in an amazing way. 2-for-1 entrees, complimentary desserts and knowledgable and attentive service made this a perfect meal occasion.
Food was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed the grilled olives, ensalada mista, and our entrees.
Waited 20 minutes for our waiter to show to order drinks. I guess he was too busy for us.
Went on Monday for the locals night. Great value on this special menu. Calamari, spaghetti and chicken were all tasty and perfectly prepared. Good selection of wine by the glass. Service was courteous and attentive. I left my jacket and received a call within minutes of leaving. Thanks Grappa staff. We'll see you in the winter for the regular menu.
My son, husband and I came for dinner on our last night of our visit with our son. We came for the locals night. The prices were exceptional and the food was delicious. We had a nice private corner that made it so quiet and we could enjoy our conversation. We will be back the next time we visit Park City.
Excellent service . The weather was beautiful and we enjoy the patio. The Monday night is a very special and attractive deal
Really nice outdoor dining. Enjoyed the food and they have gluten free options.
I ordered a pork chop but got chicken...I’m not one to complain so I ate it and it was delicious. My date loved her meal and the waitress took my meal off the tab for getting it wrong. The view and atmosphere is amazing, and we tipped $30 even though they got the order wrong...I’d recommend it to anyone!
Ambience is incredible.
Service left a lot to be desired.
Food is good but probably not worth the price.
There are better restaurants in park city.
The vegetarian option (eggplant parmesan) wasn't very good. Have had better options in the past. Both my wife and I have this and both agreed that it was not up to the level of Grappa.
I was early to my reservation for 3 and the front desk hostess was flustered. I had said we would walk Main Street if no tables were available until my reservation in 45 minutes. She was nicer to the 'walk in' people without reservations than me. I waited the 5 minutes (actually 10) for her to get situated, and went back inside. I was in town to see my daughter, whom I haven't seen in months. She proceeded with a bit of an attitude to say she found a table and took us to a table that was next to a large party where there backsides kept touching me while squeezing past me and a pole. There was also a great view to the bathroom, prep room in kitchen, and a full force fan blowing from the hallway. She acted as if this was the only table left. The food was amazing, but the ambience and happiness was lost. I became disturbed as I watched other tables sit empty and I was placed at the worst table in the house-with a reservation to secure the horrible atmosphere. I did approach the manager at the end of the dinner and told her my story, she mentioned I could have asked for a different table. I informed her that her hostess presented that it was an act of God to secure a table 30 minutes early and I assumed there was nothing open. Our food and waiter were excellent, but the tone was already set.
Now, to my surprise, the manager removed the cost of our entrees even when we demanded to pay. I would go back and make special requirements to never be seated in the horrific location of watching the dirty dishes being cleaned and individuals going to the restroom. Run if they try to place you next to the stairs. I would also recommend that management coach their staff to treat others as they would like to be treated. So, I would say 'Yes' that I would refer others, provided they make requests for outside seating or in the front of the restaurant.
Great service and beautiful setting, creative dishes that are delicious. The creamy garlic dip that is served with the bread is amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and will be back next time we are in Park City.
Such a wonderful place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere on the patio is unbeatable. Loved it!
We are part-time Park City residents. We believe the overall experience to be the best in Park City.
Once again, we were not disappointed
Was looking forward to eating here after seeing the reviews but when we got there they had a very limited menu, not their full menu. Food didn't have much flavor and the service was very slow.
Cute Romantic place. The food was not very good.. especially for the price of the food. We go on date nights a lot and have had much much better tasting food. I think the experience of the place was cute and cozy. But the food was gross.
The food was incredible but I would not recommend the burata fondue. Osso bucho and the Bolognese we're both incredible. The low rating is a result of terrible service. Service was extremely slow and we dined outdoors because of the heat lamps that apparently have no propane and we're then offered blankets but they never came. First time I had to give less than 10% tip!!! So I would come if you have all the time on the world!
Four flights of stairs following hostess looking for a table (had reservation for a week). Expensive for what it was. Soup portion was very small. Both tagliatelle and spaghetti dishes were dry and varied temperatures...tasted microwaved. Very underehelmed.
The setting is lovely sitting outside in a multi-level garden. Our server was gracious and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food did not match the setting. It was not bad...I would describe it as lackluster with no depth of flavor. The branzino was dry and under seasoned. The Osso Buco was just so-so. We were all disappointed with the food this evening but very impressed with the ambience.
Food was amazing! Great service and very cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place to check out when in Park City.
Eat outside !
Overall the food menu choices were very limited and the food really lacked flavor and spices. Service was not attentive we would have both ordered a second drink each if we had been asked. This was our second time and I think we will revert back to our favorite which is Chimayo
