Good food and quiet.
everyone was amazing.. spencer our server was just wonderful. the manager (which I'm sorry it didn't get his name) was right there to make sure our dinner was perfect. we live in oakley and often go to salt lake for a romantic dinner but i am so glad we stayed in our home town....
absolute perfect dinner.........
The reason I did not give the food an outstanding is my salmon Was a little dry, and the pasta was a little salty.
The ambience is lovely the team actually makes the experience!
Delicious food and excellent service! Will definitely always go here when I visit park city!
Great place for a family and friend get together. Knowledgeable staff and very attentive. Would and have gone back there many times.
Everything delivered to the table was wonderful!!! I had the veal and my friend had the outstanding Pork Osso Bucco. All of our appetizers were outstanding and the service was fantastic!!! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Kyle and his staff did a wonderful job for a memorable birthday!!!
Recommended by hotel concierge, this gem was really over the top. Born and raised in New Orleans, and a frequent visitor to New York, I wasn't expecting this kind of food and dining experience in Utah, but was I and my wife pleasantly surprised. We will be back!!
Miserable service and so-so food. Probably understaffed but the wait between ordering the meal and actually getting served was way too long.
2 0f us went for Thursday Special including $5 food and $5-7 drinks. Although it was crowded, our server, Meghan, handled everything beautifully and promptly. Both our spaghetti and meatball and chicken alfredo were great. We go there for special occasions when we are in Park City and this deal was a great night out.
Really nice place. Great food, ambiance and service.
Food was a let down from prior visits. One of my favorite dishes is the Pork Osso Buco. They used to have Gnochi as the pasta companion which was excellent. Now they use Paparella which does not work with the dish. The Antipasti has eliminated the Prosciutto which is my son’a favorite. My wife and I did like the new version of their Caprese Salad. This is still a great value. I will probably fall back to my second favorite which is the Veal Marsala.
Always a pleasure to dine in elegant surroundings. Good food. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Nice wine list.
The most disgusting excuse for food I've ever had. The prices they charge for the garbage they call food is atrocious. The service was extremely poor and incredibly slow. Will definitely never return here. A lesson learned.
Overall, the service was great, the food was average and definitely not worth the price. Our wait staff was very attentive and nice. It was our anniversary so we got a free dessert which was nice.
The food was alright. My wife and I got veal marsala and some sausage dish that I forget how to spell. Escheotti or something like that I don't know. The veal was delicious, but everything else on the plate was superfluous. It was definitely not worth the ~$30 price tag on it. I would have paid 17 or 18 fine, but not 30. The sausage and pasta was alright, but it was ruined by broccoli rabe. Edible, but only after we took out the rabe. I can't really recommend this place.
You can't go wrong with a Bill White restaurant, Bill's commitment to community, authentic food, great help is in a category all by itself.
Food and service was outstanding. I would recommend this for authentic Italian. Martinis were excellent as well. Service person was very pleasant. She was new at the restaurant and was apologetic for her less then masterful English. She was great!! I would make a return visit to any of the Bill White restaurants on my next visit to Park City. We had excellent dining experiences atfour of the Bill White restaurant group that we visited for the week.
Great good and personable staff. sitting outside is delightful
Ghidotti’s is always great and reasonably priced! Beautiful restaurant facility.
The service was not acceptable. For the high price I expect top notch.
Started going to Ghidotti's last year on a recommendation while on vacation. I go to Park City, UT 4-5 times a year and will be a place I will visit each time. Very friendly and acknowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend.
The waiter was not paying attention to our table. The head of the restaurant gives us a credit
Always a favorite for its great menu, fresh produce, high quality preparation and service and generous portions. The wine list is very good and the locally sourced products are expertly incorporated in the menu. I'm a sucker for a great tasting, filling, uncomplicated pasta dish and the outstanding Mama Ghidotti's spaghetti and tennis ball sized meatballs always fill the bill. Wonderful ambiance, great people and outstanding food add up to a very enjoyable evening with family and friends.
Shrimp scampi and ravioli had perfectly grilled shrimp. Ravioli and sauce complemented shrimp. Delicious and very ample serving. Veal Marsala presentation very nice and very flavorful. Italian Manhattan excellent mixture. Neapolitan Boudino a dessert not worth eating. Lacked flavor and had strawberries on top that were thawed out and not tasty. Stephanie provided excellent service and is very gracious. She added to our delightful dining. We will definitely dine again there
This place is INCREDIBLE! Amazing service and the food was to die for! Fresh and delicious. I would eat here everyday if I could.
Used to love this restaurant. But it has been declining. Pasta was undercooked not even close to al dente. Took 30 minutes to get it replaced. Salmon was very tiny, not sure if that was normal or because we had a coupon, if the latter just let us know that the portion will be reduced. We will try it again later this year, hopefully the kitchen was just having a bad night. It happens to us all.
As Italian restaurants go, this one is okay, but something was lacking. First, the restaurant setting is cavernous. The decor is Italian theme park glitzy, complete with gigantic crystal chandeliers. There are strangely television monitors tuned to sports all over the restaurant, which is totally out of place in an upscale restaurant. The restaurant was fairly empty at 8PM but we were shown to the worst table for two in a dark corner right next to a loud party of 12. This is not uncommon when the hostess has to seat two men for dinner, since the belief is that men don't care or don't know the difference, so why not fill up the worst tables in the restaurant. I insisted on being moved.
Our waiter was a very good server and we had excellent service throughout. The bread service that started our meal came quickly and was tasty and fresh. The sauce that was served with the bread was a garlic balsamic cream sauce that would best be served on salad.
We both ordered the veal Marsala. It was good but not great. The veal was not browned enough and the onions were not carmelized. The mushrooms were prepared well but the Marsala sauce was tasty with just enough sweetness. The veal served with a warm salad on the plate that was soggy and frankly not an appropriate accompaniment. Pasta or roasted potatoes would have worked better. At these prices, this dish was simply not good enough, and that's how I would describe this restaurant overall. Not good enough.
My wife and I are in Park City on vacation. This restaurant was recommended by our concierge along with a buy one get one entree. We would have paid full price! Our waiter Carson was attentive but not pushy. The bread was maybe the highlight they give you a dip for it that is to die for. I had the spaghetti and it was outstanding. I like spaghetti and have eaten it in lots of places but this was at the top of my list.
Excellent Italian food in an easy to get to area with decent parking. Attentive service with the Italian themed decor make for a very pleasant evening with yummy food
Interior is odd and the TV screens in dining room are distracting. The TVs should be removed. The food is basic and nothing to write home about.
Service was good and waiter was on it....
Horrendous service (waiter ignored me for 15 minutes while waiting on adjacent table, didn't explain what was in the cups that came with the food), terrible food (who crushes croutons in a salad so that they permeate everything and you can't avoid them?)
Manager ended up comping everything but the iced tea.
Our waiter was very good and so patient with 3 young children. The food was just OK although I would say the pasta seemed fresh made and was cooked to perfection. I think the biggest problem is the environment. One in our party observed that the interior looked like a “cheesy Las Vegas interpretation of an Italian villa”. It is cavernous and not very inviting.
My husband and I went to Ghidottis to celebrate our anniversary. The food was delicious, the wine added a nice festive vibe and the house made gelato for desert topped it all off nicely
We were seated promptly, and brought to the back of the restaurant. There were several open tables; yet the host wanted us to sit right next to a noisy group of 12, which we politely declined to do. We chose a table much farther away where we didn't have to listen to the screaming children and "oh my god!" teenagers in quite so much volume.
Our server introduced himself and took our orders; but after that, we rarely saw him. Someone else delivered our food; offered to cheese our food since he was doing the table next to us; and provided bread (some stale!) and butter (where's the olive oil we had heard others rave about?) only when we asked for it. Our server finally showed up to take plates away, suggest dessert, and present us with the bill. Gee thanks.
The food and drink itself was good; both the veal marsala and the scallops (only 3!). The wine list was way overpriced, so we went with cocktails instead, which were tasty.
Overall, I'd go somewhere else for this kind of money and lack of service.
Great service, but, the food did not live up to it.
Food was good, but not the best we have had. We have gone here regularly. Our reservation was made checking “Birthday” to celebrate my husbands birthday. It was never acknowledged. We were disappointed, but after already saying something about our salad course, I didn’t want to complain again.
We made a reservation four days in advance, requesting a quiet table. Before tonight, we received a call from the restaurant’s Manager stating he could not provide us with a quiet table because Thursday night is very busy night for locals. We decided to take our chances and keep the reservation. We arrived at 5 PM, thinking we’d be able to get a quiet table for two. We were seated at a nice table, but along the very busy walkway from the front door to the back dining room. Much to our disappointment, we saw several corner two-top tables that remained vacant during the entire time we were dining. I’m not sure why they left those tables empty when we could have been seated there.
Great food. We thought it was near “Historic” main street, but it was actually near “New” main street. Not the location we expected, but we did enjoy our meal.
Everything was amazing! Our server Andre was outstanding and help our birthday celebration go as smoothly as possible! Definitely coming back!
Great food, great service and nice atmosphere! Have eaten there many times but this was our first locals night and the meal and pricing was amazing!
Went to "Locals" night for delicious pizza and a glass of wine. Great value, excellent food and very nice atmosphere
