   We received our appetizer RIGHT before our actual mean. A full dozen order of oysters on the half shell.. really shouldn’t take as long as a steak to come out. My sister and I BOTH ordered medium rare DRY aged filet, as we always do. My steak was to my liking but my sisters steak was literally purple inside. The waiter commented “so you want it medium then, right?” No sir, she wanted her steak just like mine but not PURPLE! He then came back to say, “Sorry, I think our cook gave you the wrong cut filet.” It took them all of that back and forth to finally take accountability. I was already done with my food and my sister was still waiting.. by that point, she lost her appetite. No one tried to accommodate the situation. Ended up paying the full bill and absolutely no acknowledgment.

   The food was excellent and our server did his level best, but the place is understaffed and that was obvious. Our waiter was serving tables all over the room. He was in constant motion. We could see the comings and going in the kitchen and no one was standing by idly yet when our plates came, the entrees were hot and the sides were cold. The sides don't come on the same plate as the entrees which means they were sitting around so the waiter gladly brought us new ones. I want to reiterate the food was absolutely delicious, tri tip, ribs, stuffed chicken breast, chop salad,creamed spinach, sweet potato fries, garlic mashed potatoes, garlic cheese cheese bread, deserts- all outstanding. They just need more help. It was a Saturday night and the place was crowded.

   I had to return my food because it wasn’t well done. When they brought back it was so overcooked that I could bot eat it. On top of that they took a long time to bring the food back. I ordered the seabass. My husband’s hawaian steak was nothing special and the garlic bread was not really good either.

   Went for our anniversary. Fantastic food, great service from Cassie, and nice atmosphere. Only issue was a $35 corking fee which is a bit excessive to me. We appreciate the dessert message!

    Server was great and attentive. Steaks were good, but cost a bit much. With that said, we would definitely go again, just not as often because of $$, or lack thereof for us.

    We had a reservation and we where seated within 5 mins of arriving. Once we where seated we were provided service within a few mins and had placed our order within 10 mins of arriving and being seated. Great service and good food.

    Upscale casual, very beautiful yet comfortable restaurant. Love the appetizers and salads, steaks are just like Larsen Steakhouse so delicious! Great service.

    I ordered the chicken breast with carrots and wild rice. The dish wasn’t very warm, especially the sauce. Flavor was good but the temperature wasn’t right.

    We were a party of two to celebrate my birthday. Despite the fact that overall the place was extremely noisy, we were sat by a party of 25 with 8 kids on our end. The girls were out of control, smacking their balloons around, jumping up and down, etc. It was a 60yr old birthday celebration. Never should a restaurant mix a party of 25 with a party of 2. We thought we were going to a fine dining restaurant not Chuckie Cheese.

    I usually love this place. I know it was Valentines day and busy as a result but the quality of our dinner wasn’t what we usually enjoy there. I was seated at a small 2 person table in the middle of a busy walk way with my back to the passing employees as they went back and for doing their job. Not awful but didn’t like that. Our waitress took 12mins to greet us after we were seated. 2 tables seated after us had already been met and drink orders taken by the time our waitress showed up. Our initial cocktails ordered arrived in dirty sticky glasses that didn’t appear washed and were grossly strong with an excessive amount of alcohol. At the time we ordered the cocktail we asked for a glass a wine to be served at the time our entree steaks arrived. While watching other tables eating bread and drinking drinks I had to remind the waitress that we’d also like some bread. After delivering the bread, salad & crab cakes she went outside on the patio to talk with someone for so long that all plates were empty and still sitting on our table when our entrees arrived. The very nice buss guy who served the food apologized, cleared the plates and brought us steak knives for our entree while our waitress was somewhere else. She showed up half way through our meal to ask if we still wanted the wine I requested at the beginning to which I agreed. The crab cakes & salad were good. I asked for a seared dry filet but still pink/juicy on the inside and it arrived pretty char and well done. It was okay but not the perfect cook I’d be accustomed to there. Every other server around us was attentive to their table and repeatedly checked on theirs where ours dropped by 3 times the entire dinner including at the end to offer dessert. I realize it’s a busy night and I love this restaurant but I didn’t tip but the bare minimum 15% because the experience was really poor compared to previous visits with family and my gf. Food was okay, service was pretty lousy. Hope for better next time

    Valentine’s Day dinner. The ambience was great, the table settings were beautiful. Our server was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was very good, but pricey.

    Valentine dinner. Made reservation 2 weeks prior. Seated at a tiny crowded round table right by the front door. Requested a booth and was told they were reserved for parties of 4. We saw two parties of 2 get seated at booths after us and 3 booths remained empty from the time we were seated u til we left. Totally unacceptable when paying over $200 for dinner. I told the manager, who apologized but did absolutely nothing to make it a better situation for us. Said she would “school” the front desk staff. Whatever that means. The server was great and so was the food, but we won’t be back.

    This is the second time we had the same server. We went to Larsen’s this past Years Eve too. We had this server then. She was terrible. We figured it was because it was so busy. We will request to never have her again. She was unfriendly. Seemed annoyed to have to take care of us. She never introduced herself. Never a smile. Our meal came and we did not have utensils. Usually we are brought a new fork and steak knife after our salad. When she brought it there was no apology we had to wait. Overall, it put a damper on out evening. We were celebrating Valentine’s Day a day early. My husband was more generous with a tip then I would have been.

    Long wait for the food - 45 minutes. No bread on the table to take us through the wait time. We didn't order apetizers. Steaks were tough (wet aged filet mignon, $54, 8 oz.). The stuffed chicken breast was good. It was a busy Friday. Extremely high noise level. We were a small party of 3, but we couldn't hear each other speak even when we shouted every conversation. Service was O.K. Staff was friendly. Tipping is on the gadget. I selected 18%, they charged 20%. Could be better on a less busy day. Not our first visit.

    The servers were very nice as were the manager and the chef when they apologized for the repulsive cauliflower steak I was served. We also received a gift certificate in the hopes we would return. Not likely. I don’t want free food, I want good food and a good experience. I’ve never eaten at this “high end” restaurant and don’t see myself returning. Atmosphere is terrible. Loud, big open spaces. Way over priced. $60 for a piece of sea bass….and this thing is what I was served as an excuse for a cauliflower steak….I will use something similar at our annual haunted house…

    We were there to celebrate a birthday. The food was great as usual. The service was extremely poor. Our server (Danielle) never really checked on us to see if our food came out right, or if we needed anything else to drink. However, she was checking on other tables multiples times but ours. I totally felt ignored. I had to get the attention of what might have been a manager to order my drink, and by the time my drink got to my table I was pretty much done with my dinner. They need improve on their customer service skills. I recommend this restaurant to others for their food, but if you go there make sure you don't get our server or your experience would be awful.

    Good service for a busy time. My usual tri-tip wasn’t as good from outlet last visits. Besides that everything, I mean all our other dishes were perfect. Compared to other restaurants this busy, we had a great experience.

    The food and service were very good, but we were extremely surprised to hear that their corkage charge had jumped from $20 to $35. That is high for anywhere, but particularly Simi Valley. (For example, Sutter’s Mill charges $0.) While inflation has legitimately increased a lot of food-related costs, the actual cost of turning a corkscrew five times has remained the same- zero. Although we like this restaurant, the new charge will definitely have an effect on how frequently we visit.
