It only took me 20 years to finally reserve a table here, and I'm so glad I finally did! Luckily this restaurant survived the pandemic so I could actually enjoy the food and the unique cocktails that they offer. Even my very picky 12 year old ate everything on his plate; highly recommend!

Even though it was a busy Saturday evening the host accommodated us with an outside table right away. The drinks were good, the food was fantastic and the service was adequate. We sat and talked for a half hour after finishing without feeling like we were being rushed out. Nice experience.

Be sure to compare the prices on your tab with the prices on the menu. You may be unpleasantly surprised, as we were. Then, get ready for the service staff to try and defend it. We gave up and took the $2 discrepancy out of the tip. Food was fine but we were not served until 45 minutes after sitting down -- This was at 5:30 pm before the rush.

Delicious experience. I wish there were more than the two of us to try more dishes. The good news is that the woman helping us was adept at helping us try as much as possible without over stuffing ourselves. The sambusa sampler is a great way to start the meal if it's a small group. Didn't have a bad morsel at all, delicious!

An absolute hidden gem. From the word GO, this was a very special experience. The food reminded us of our cuisine from back home in India. It was delicious- the spicy lamb, the chicken, the lentils and the bread, each competed with the other for exceptional flavors. What topped this all was the hospitality and the smiles which gave the food the best ingredient- LOVE. This will be one place we will visit every time in Chicago. Truly exceptional experience

My wife and I took my best friend here because it’s one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago! The food was super delicious. Our favorites are the kitfo and the yellow peas. Service is overall good most of the time but sometimes it can be a bit fast paced so it’s hard to flag them down. If you are thinking about coming here, do it! You’ll probably love it :)

Great time with great friends!! Staff was friendly and understanding of parking issues due to Olivia Rodrigo concert at the Aragon. Staff was super friendly and helpful since it was the first time for a lot of us. We ordered the chef selection for a group of 8 and more and it was plenty for everyone. The drinks were great and the ambiance was inviting. The food was delicious. We had a little bit of everything. Lamb, chicken, beef and shrimp and a lot of vegetarian options!! The lentils were amazing and the greens phenomenal. We will definitely be back!
