Service and food were exceptional. Almost too much food. The T-bone steak was cooked as ordered a medium rare. The mashed potatoes were like mama used to make. The table side prepared salad was a great way to start the meal. The only complaint was the bread service seemed stale.

We come to South Point three to four times a year, aways eat dinner at Silverado as we enjoy the filets. Last night for the first time ever we were a bit disappointed, we ordered our usual medium rare and it was medium until we got to the middle of the filet. We got past the slight over cooking, but the table next to us with 10 people kept passing around a video on one of their phone with the volume on. It is extremely annoying not one of the to wait staff asked them to turn it down or stop.

After many years enjoying steaks in Las Vegas, we consider the Silverado Steakhouse has the best filet mignon and other steaks. The baked potato and a side order of mushrooms to accompany the steak is the greatest.

I normally order the filet mignon, which is always outstanding, but this time I ordered the twin lobster tails for $82. I was disappointed, they were not seasoned well, and they were in a lot of water on my plate. I have eaten lobster at other upscale restaurants which were so much better. I think the chef who prepared the lobster needs to season and broil it instead of boiling.

The staff is always so attentive and very nice. Menu is explained and they always tell you about the special. We love it there. The steaks are great, and the Halibut is the best!!! Always looking forward to go back.
