    All around underwhelming. The food was fair price. They had halibut on the menu but were out and offering sea bass as the substitute. The server stood in the back and stared. Told him we wanted to do appetizers but were still looking for what we wanted for entrees. He insisted that we order everything upfront because thats what was easiest for him. More so, that he then wouldnt have to come back to take our order. That that would be too much work for him. We told him we werent ready so he didnt take our order for the appetizers and seemed annoyed. We got our appetizers, my husband had a ceaser and mine the lobster bisque. The ceaser had zero flavor and really wasn't good. It's a salad.... My bisque wasn't hot and I'm pretty sure I got sick from the lobster. Was up all night. When the meal arrived our food was dropped off and the server did not come back to the table until it was time for the check. So was unable to voice my concerns about my meal. The sea bass was flavorless and undercooked. It came with carrots that were raw and had no seasoning. The duck fingerlings tasted like old rubber. I couldn't even chew it. My significant other had the duck. The duck was fatty and chewy and rubbery and again just completely underseasoned. We got put in the corner and stuck right in front of a pillar. I was so upset, I had to wipe my tears away because it was our anniversary that I had planned in advance and had made reservations to have a window seat. I wanted it to be special. And it was honestly awful.

    A beautiful and elegant restaurant with an amazing view and even better staff. Definitely recommend and will be back. I think they need more options for dinner but other than that this might be my favorite place in phoenix.

    This was an experience to say the least, there was a beautiful view of the city. The food was phenomenal I had the duck my wife the chicken, it did not disappoint. Great place will definitely be back to try the lamb.

    People obviously go here for the view, which was the goal. That being said, the view never changes and was beautiful. Service from Trevor was fantastic. The food was institutional at best, making the cost outrageous. “Roast” turkey that looked and tasted boiled, stuffing with no flavor, corn muffin almost raw and flavorless, a tablespoon of gravy, and a sample bite of pumpkin pie. To sum with one word - disappointing.

    Waited over an hour for our meal- 2 of us. When we finally received our dinner - it was cold! Sea bass lacked seasoning. A table of 12 were served first even though they arrived after us and after our order was taken.

    The view is spectacular and it is worth a visit for that and a return for the lounge. However the food was average for such a highly rated place ? I have some diet restrictions and they would not accommodate any of it . Stating all is preseasoned food so I asked for some cauliflower just steamed ( nope all pre seasoned) usually a restaurant will make recommendations and or accommodate: even at a tavern I can have food accommodations. Then the dessert was like something you would get at Safeway . Go for the view not the food . Our waiter was nice but not helpful. I took my husband there for a fun night out. Hard to give such a beautiful place 3 stars but it’s based on food and service .

    We had the same waiter, Richard, as we did in September and he was amazing. The filet of beef with sauce was fantastic. We went to the patio bar before dinner and enjoyed the beautiful view.

    We had a celebratory dinner and we had many a reservation 3 weeks prior. Seating outdoor is not guaranteed, so we ended up waiting 30 minutes for an outdoor table. The staff weren’t very warm, they were to the point. It felt transactional. 6/10 The views were astonishing! 10/10 We ordered a cocktail, prickly pear margharita 10/10. The food was good, we had the crab cake for starters, then we had the salmon and duck breast. 7/10 The ambiance was initially nice and quiet and quite romantic. About 10 minutes after sitting down, another table sat behind us and they were clearly drunk - the women even mentioned to the server that they were drunk. The couple was loud and ruined the calm, romantic vibe. There were groups coming to take pictures and would come between the tables which we also found bothersome - the staff did not prohibit this. It definitely ruined our romantic dinner. Our overall experience was 7-7.5/10.

    For a 4 diamond restaurant the prices were fantastic! Our server Nash was amazing, gave great recommendations. Definitely recommend requesting him for your night. View was awesome. Food was astounding and perfect.

    Our waiter and the rest of the staff was on point. The view was amazing!!! The food was good just my pork dish was a little to sweet for my liking and the pork chop had a lot of fat... On the other hand the salmon my other half got was soooo good... as well as the gnocchi and crab cake...

    Fantastic food, beautiful view’s & amazing staff. Cocktails were tasty & a nice wine list. Great experience. If you have a later reservation I highly recommend getting there early to watch the sunset downstairs on the patio of the bar.

    It is not often that the experience" exceeds your expectations. Different Point of View did just that. My wife was blown away by the views and equally impressed by the overall experience. I don't think I can list them in any order because they all were so great. The views, patio, drinks prepared, appetizers were unreal and the main entree (Filet and Colorado Lamb Chops) were solid. Service (Lois - 22 years) was on top of his game. Even if you just go up for drinks and the sunset, I can't see how another location in the PHX area has better sunset views and the lights of the city.

    Our server who was also a sommelier did an excellent job recommending delicious food entrees and a top notch bottle of wine. We were celebrating our 34th anniversary and requested an outdoor table but our request could not be honored. We were given a nice window view indoor table. Would give 5 stars but due to my disappointment of not getting to enjoy the beautiful weather outside on our special occasion I can only give 4 stars. Recommend not going on Saturday if eating outside is your priority. A bit noisy indoors and outside terrace reserved for a wedding.

    So… No signage to which way the restaurant entrance is located from the parking lot. No valet or sign of anybody, if this your first time dining here. Greeted and seated promptly. No issues there since we had made a reservation. The menu looked great, but based on the server’s derscription seemed pretty restricted on making subsititutions on the sides. Wasn’t impressed by that. I’m a little puzzled why they ask, “if the diner is celebrating an occasion” - if they’re aren’t doing something different to elevate the diners experience. We did mention what we were celebrating and nothing different was noticed. Don’t ask if it doesn’t matter.

    We have been coming here for over five years and last night was the worst experience. We waited almost 1.5 hours for our food and when it finally came out it was terrible. Our food was cold and was not cooked to our liking. Their excuse was the chef retired and they had a broken oven. After waiting over two hours we left hungry and disappointed, but the manager comp our food. I am not sure if we will be returning.

    This is our 3rd visit in 15 years and nothing changes which is a positive. The food is beyond excellent and the view is the best view in Phoenix. Drinks before dinner outside with a fire going and then settle in for dinner that beats our expectations every time.

    Style without substance cannot survive. Different Point of View can’t be beat for setting. There is simply nothing more stunning than to enjoy the lovely setting perched on a mountaintop dining while the sun sets. Our issue was the food portion of the experience. We ordered four different dishes and two appetizers. All were fine except for the pork chop. It was overcooked, served lukewarm, and was smothered in a harsh BBQ sauce that tasted more like Sweet Baby Rays than what you would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Very disappointing and far below expectations. Given the price point for the meal, I felt I had been taken advantage of. AT no point did the staff asked how we enjoyed the meal, and water was never filled after the main course arrived. If this level of food preparation continues, I cannot see how this place can survive. Ambience can only keep you going for so long. There is a lot of potential there, I hope they can be reflective enough to change for the better and have a different point of view.
