Panorama brings the authentic flavors of Italy to the heart of the Old City, in the Penn’s View Hotel. Panorama elevates classic Italian specialties to new heights with a carefully composed menu of varied contemporary cuisine, such as house made burrata, hand rolled pastas and passionately crafted veal, lamb, steak & seafood dishes.
Panorama was recognized with a Guinness World Record as the World’s Largest Wine Bar via an award bestowed on its custom-designed winekeeper/cruvinet, which offers 120 wines on tap.

The quality and consistency of the various types of food never disappoints. I ventured out of my favorites to try something new was delighted with my choice. Bruschetta- top notch Chicken - seasoned to perfection Gnocchi- little pillows of deliciousness Ravioli- firm, sweet, creamy and filled with sweet lobster. I’ll visit again for a wine flight and another delicious meal.

We have a wine club membership at Panorama -- a nice value if you like wine tastings and discounts on your wines for dinner. The food was terrific, and our server was personable and just the right amount of attentiveness without helicoptering. A great recommendation was made by the sommolier as well. We'll be back!

As an Italian-American beloved for my own home cooking, I only eat at fantastic, authentic Italian restaurants. Panorama is by far one if the best spots in Philly to savor Italian food. Their wine list - the most extensive ever - complements their incredible dishes.

I’m genuinely disappointed with our experience at Panorama, and unfortunately, this will be our last visit. To be fair, the food was good, the wine was excellent, and our server John was fantastic—he truly did his part. But overall, the evening fell flat in ways that are hard to overlook. The dessert was underwhelming—“pistachio cheesecake” apparently just means cheesecake with some crushed pistachios tossed on top? That felt lazy, especially coming from a restaurant that markets itself as elevated and refined. But the real letdown was how the restaurant handled our special occasion. I reached out through the OpenTable app in advance to let them know how important this dinner was, even asked if anything could be done to make it more memorable—flowers, rose petals, chocolates, something small. I followed up with the host, and while we were wished a happy anniversary and complimentary bubbly (a nice touch, sure), that was the extent of it. Nothing more, no gesture to indicate that message was actually read or considered. If the “Message the Restaurant” feature isn’t meant to be taken seriously, I’d suggest removing it—or at the very least, not setting expectations you don’t intend to meet. Really disappointed, especially because this could’ve been so much more.

We celebrated two birthdays before a show at the Arden at an early dinner at Panorama. Every staff member was welcoming and professional. Our server, John, was engaging, efficient, and so helpful. We enjoyed our wine flights, and our food was delicious: bruschetta, calamari, braciole, veal pizzaiola, and orecchiette. The tomato ragu was out of this world! Shared desserts were also also great. 10 out of 10 for Panorama!

This was the second time eating at this restaurant. We’re from out of state visiting and made it a point to return. It did not disappoint. The food is exceptional, the service is amazing and the overall atmosphere is enjoyable. Everything we ate was so good, and I can’t want to come back!

Came for a birthday celebration with family and enjoyed everything. I believe our server was Nick . We were given homemade focaccia bread and olive oil which was great. I ordered the lobster ravioli, asparagus and the scallops appetizer. The scallops had a lot of flavor and paired well with the house bread. Ravioli had a good amount of lobster meat, presented differently than expected and needed just a pinch of salt but still appetizing. The asparagus came with shallots and lemon and were cooked perfectly. I tried a new German riesling and fell in love. My second drink was an elderflower spritz that was refreshing with a bit of sweetness and plenty of mint. Dessert options were ok. I looked forward to the flavors from the Franklin Fountain but there weren't many. I chose coffee ice cream and it was brought out with a candle. We were given complimentary champagne for a birthday toast which was a nice gesture from the server. Place is intimate but still has decent space between tables. Manager stopped by to check in on our experience and upsell another round of drinks. Server was fine and as the only server working did his best to tend to everyone. Prices weren't bad, nice place for a special occasion. I'd return again.
