This was by far our best meal in Porto so far! The mustard sauce with the steak was outstanding. The salad with the fig dressing was excellent. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Porto!

A lovely bright sophisticated dining space. The food and service were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant located on the second floor of the famous Balhao Market.

Fantastic experience, we celebrated our wedding anniversary and were made very welcome. Our server was very helpful going through the menu options that were gf or could be adapted. The food was delicious, would definitely recommend.

I had the oxtail croquettes rich and tasty followed by black pork juicy desserts excellent 5 spice cake and banoffee bottle of vinho verde. Husband had sea and land crab and beef then steak and potato crisps with cheese.

Picked Herdade based on open table reviews and a glimpse at the menu. Could not have been more pleased with the service and the food on our first night in Portugal. We are a group of 5 and the appetizers, mains and wine were all excellent. Meals included the soup, beef tartare, oxtail croquettes, piripiri chicken, codfish, steaks and another chicken dish cooked plain on special request due to dietary restrictions. All were delicious. Can’t describe dessert because we were all too full from dinner.

Hello, thank you for your feedback (NO NAME OPENTABLE DINNER FROM MIAMI) and for allowing us to clarify a few points. My name is Isabel and I am the manager of **Herdade 1980**. We would like to mention that we do not manage this application directly. It is simply connected to our reservation system, Cover Manager. Therefore, the photos and all the information available here were not provided by us. Unfortunately, this also means we cannot reply directly to our guests via this platform. To address your review, we found this alternative way to respond. Our restaurant is located inside the **Mercado do Bolhão**, a historic and traditional fresh market in Porto, not in a shopping mall. The restaurant is situated on the third floor of a beautifully restored building that has preserved its history within its walls and won multiple awards for architecture and design. Regarding the "small circular room" you mentioned, it is actually a spacious area with a ceiling height of 7 meters. The restaurant also features a square dining room and an outdoor terrace overlooking the market, with over **200 m²** of indoor space. Our **Frango da Guia with piri-piri** is inspired by the culinary traditions of the Algarve and is one of our most popular dishes. We are sorry if the presentation or preparation did not meet your expectations. It is a rustic dish designed to take our guests on a journey through Portuguese gastronomy, which is our primary goal. On that note, we are proud to share that we ranked in the **TOP 5 of the 2024 Portuguese Tourism AWARDS in the Gastronomic Tourism category**.
