I booked an upstairs table for my husband’s 65th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. We had a table for five with a view over open farmland and green fields. The restaurant was immaculate and the staff very attentive but gave us plenty of time to decide our choices. The Sunday lunch was of beautiful quality, with huge Yorkshire puddings and lots of fresh vegetables and extra gravy. A special mention must go to our waitress Grace who was superb! She bought in the surprise birthday cupcakes/candles and had written “happy birthday” in chocolate on the platter the standard of which would have taken me 20 attempts and I still couldn’t have done it! Thank you everyone for a very special lunch. Five stars!

We were given the table we asked for. We find the music is always too loud and, really, quite unnecessary ( admittedly this is a pet gripe of ours of a lot of places we go to). The food is always good and the staff excellent.

This was my first visit to Lester’s Arms and it won’t be the last. The food was delicious, I had the chicken and ham linguine with a slice of focaccia for my main. It was perfectly seasoned and very filling. In fact I couldn’t manage a pudding. However, my husband had the mango mascarpone cheesecake. I had a taste and I will definitely have that next time. The waitress service was excellent and very polite. I will be back soon

First time here since it opened after the refurbishment. It’s been done to a very high standard, lovely venue, great food, ambience and service! Would recommend and will be back!

Our first visit and it won’t be the last. We were made to feel so welcome. Food was lovely and the whole experience was so relaxing. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for making my husbands birthday meal a special one xx
