My only complaint was that the dessert was pricey. And did not meet the same quality as the rest of the food.

It is really smart inside. Staff service was excellent and the location is really convenient for Back Bay. The food was great but could have been served a bit hotter than it was. $180 dollars for two including a tip when you only have a main course, three sides and one drink each is not my idea of value for money but I’d still recommend it.

The place is very nice and the food was very good, you must try the bread they take to the table so good, I ordered a clam chowder delicious and lobster roll really good, my husband ordered a crab cake that was a bit different but incredibly good, my son ordered fries and lobster tales. The dessert was supposed to be NY cheesecake but it was nothing like it and it was dry and not good. The service was ok because although there was allot of people, there was only one waiter for six tables so he had his hands full and the drinks took a long time to get there.

I had a reservation for 9:15, but no one told us that the kitchen closes at 9:30🤷 The server was wonderful. She rushed our order and was very pleasant.

The Dover Sole Meuniere was prepared with a heavy cream - that is not DSM - it s/b in a brown butter/clear sauce with parsley. Was it tasty - sure but it was more like Scrod Supreme and for $75.00 prefer to have the dish prepared to what is advertised. Ask Julia...... Server, Jessica, albeit pleasant, kept calling me Honey - my son thought she was saying Lovey - regardless was I at a diner?? No -inappropriate - doubt she would have called my husband that all evening. Please offer training. The atmosphere was terrific - first time patron. Great location. Let's just correct the above. Finally - re: above I don't need a command to keep it short, simple and specific. A request - fine. Then you state -Please keep it short, simple and specific. Happy to hear back from Manager.
