Not a good night at Herb and Bitter. 20 minutes after arriving our waiter hadn't even acknowledged our existence. We finally flagged them down and got our order in - 40 minutes after arriving still no drinks. Waitress just could not have cared any less. Manager came over to apologize but still took more time to get our drinks. Food was pretty good as it always is, but will have to rethink another visit.

We had a party of 4 and sat in the atrium. It was a beautiful place with nice lighting. The dinning room is dark and seemed more of an intimate setting. The food was very good! We started with the tuna poké and brussel sprouts. Both were amazing and loved by all 4 of us. Our entrees were equally amazing. I had the buttermilk fired chicken. My fiancée had the risotto. Our friends enjoyed the gnocchi and steak frites. The service was fantastic as well. We showed up 20 minutes early for our reservation. They were able to seat us right away with a smile. Our main server was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. Our empty plates were cleared quickly and our drinks reordered and filled quickly as well. All that came by our table were attentive and extremely polite. We will absolutely be back!

We made a reservation which required CC info number so they can charge for no show. We left the event we were at 30min early so we can make it to our reservation before the kitchen closed. We were on time for our reservation just to find out they decided to close the kitchen 30min early and at that point pretty much everything else was closed or closing. So we were starving and left the haunted soiree early for nothing. Very frustrating

I have been to H&B PH more than 6 times with friends and clients. When making the reservation I specifically said we would be bringing our own wine. I know parties of eight are tough, yet our food server was terrible. we ordered appetizers and our main meal arrived before anything else, in fact some arrived 1/2 through our meal. It was extremely disappointing, and the food server received a $100 tip. When I shared my displeasure, all he did was say I won't charge you for corkage. One of the bottles we brought never was opened the entire experience was unacceptable. As always, the food was exceptional and appreciated. How could the kitchen and food server accept serving the appetizers late and after the main course. BIG screw up. roger

Honestly would not go back. The drinks were pretty bad and they didn’t even bother telling us before the kitchen closed even though our reservation was at 9:45, we weren’t sat or paid attention to till 10. Very unhappy and uncomfortable experience

We made a last minute change for a large party. The patio was beautiful, the service impeccable and the food delivered on delicious! The truffle fries were a great start to the meal. We had 11 people and everyone enjoyed their food. The steak frites was outstanding! I would put the steak up against any steak house. The seared tuna was outstanding. A little more dressing on the salads but that’s a personal preference. Everyone who stopped by the table to drop a dish was pleasant and helpful. Kudos to the management team for outstanding customer service! And kudos to the kitchen staff for damn good food!

We had a great meal and selection of cocktails & mocktails to welcome some out-of-state friends. The restaurant even clarified that it is 21+ after 9pm, so we could bring our 17-year-old son for dinner as well. Easy public parking across the street too - great for visiting from the Eastside ;-)

Our servers were very interested in helping us find the right table for our group and explaining drinks and food. The aperitif flight was very fun and the food was so good. My out-of-town friend was delighted with his trout. The berry crumble was great. A little on the tart side which I like.

The food was odd and not great. The mushroom risotto was actually a saffron risotto with a few mushrooms on top, not great. The steaks were very good, but some of the items served with them were not a great combination. We sent back items and they were very condescending about it, asking if we would like “simpler” food. We have very broad pallets, these were just not on point.

We sat in the atrium which was lovely. We liked the variety of menu options for our meat-eaters and vegans in the group. The cocktails and food were yummy. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Delivery of our drinks and food was a little slow but it did not damper the experience.

Service was not the best. It wasn’t bad, just very flaky. At times we had the staff come by and check up on us, but other times there would be no one coming for a good amount of time and one of us had to go tell someone that we need to order more food or drinks.

The drinks are always amazing. The service was really bad. They weren't that busy but they only had one person working which to me was really confusing since most people make reservations to go here so you know the volume to expect. Because they only had one person, service was really slow and not very engaging. They also weren't able to make the drink that I requested. The menu that we had read online had more dietary restriction friendly foods compared to the one that was there So we ended up not being able to eat. The atrium is uncomfortably loud. One person laughs and it sounds like a pack of hyenas are laughing. You aren't able to even hear your thoughts, let alone the person at the table with you. The drinks are amazing so I'll be back just not in the atrium.

We went yesterday and sat in the Atrium. It was SO LOUD, but that's just how the sound traveled. I have been here before and the drinks are fantastic. But the food was really quite bad. I was genuinely shocked. It was edible, but not one person at our table liked what we ordered. Little disappointing since this was a Birthday celebration. The Service was also particularly bad. We couldn't get refills, One person's food took way longer than everyone else's and it was cold when it came. Seemed like there was one server for the whole restaurant, which was NOT working. For the price point and the reputation of the establishment, I was really surprised at how bad it was.

Herb and bitter is awesome! I went there with my partner and our family (12 people). We made the reservation online through open table. It was totally easy and the food was awesome! Highly recommend the risotto and the ratatouille.

Waiter ensured me that my food didn’t contain any allergens, he was wrong. I got very sick. He forgot my drink from the bar and it took over 45 minutes for me to get a glass of water that wasn’t cucumber water. Great ambiance, but subpar service.

Amazing food, great drinks. Pork belly bites were incredible. Friendly atmosphere, we had a baby with us on our date night and they provided us with a high chair in a less crowded space. Made us feel very welcome.

We had a wonderful time as always. The food and service was amazing as expected. It was a bit loud in the atrium due to a few large parties, but that is to be expected on a Saturday night at this time. I highly recommend the chicharrónes!
