    We were met at the hostess stand by Madalyn who was delightful! We got seated promptly. Our server was distracted. He might have had too many tables. I was able to flag another server who got me the glass of wine i ordered 10 minutes earlier. The table had irratating pull outs that didnt open flush with the rest of the table. I am not a fan of the plates that dont allow room for the sides we ordered.

    It was extremely busy for Thanksgiving dinner. The time between our reservation and actually being seated was 55 minutes. While I understand the host station has their job requirements, they did little to be attentive to the customers standing in the foyer. They could’ve offered seats, glasses of water, something. Instead they tried to avoid difficult interactions by avoiding eye contact or helping the servers. Saying “it will be just a few more minutes” knowing that it’s taking much longer is dishonest and frustrating. I went there with children and there stomachs operate on a different time schedule than the adults in the room. While the initial impression was not up to standard, the rest of the dinner went well and the manager was extremely attentive and did his best to make up for any shortfalls in our experience.

    We opted to not cook for the first time this year and wanted to have a nice Thanksgiving dinner at Ruth’s Chris. What a VERY disappointing experience and decision it was. We made reservation since August (3 months earlier) and still waited 45 minutes for a table! We finally got seated and ordered our drink as well as meals since we saw how slow food came out. We ordered four Thanksgiving special dinners and have to say that they came out late and cold!!!! Also, for $44, you’d think that you’d get a quality meal. It tasted like rubber that we could not eat it. Our server was fantastic! That was about it. We will NEVER go back and havd expressed our feeling to family and friends who ask. STAY AWAY especially on a holiday!

    The worst service and meal we have ever had at Ruth’s Chris in Fairfax Corner. When we arrived there were about 40 people waiting for their tables and some had been waiting over an hour to be seated! There were only 2-3 waiters for entire restaurant and everyone was so frustrated. We waited over 2.5 hours for food to arrive and when it did it was barely warm. I felt really bad for the waiters who were really trying but could not way keep up. The worst part was that the manger seems to not have cared that everyone was so upset. I have been going there for over 15 years and was so disappointed to see this happen and no apologies or compensation to anyone for long wait and cold food.

    Dined on Thanksgiving & expected restaurant to be busy. We were seated just at our reservation time. Nice table & noise level was just right in restaurant. Food was delicious. Service as sub-par. Our waitress had 4 tables (2, 4, 4, 8) & she couldn’t get it together. No bread, forgot to order (& then bring) my husband’s wine. Hard to get refills on drinks/water. Waited 45 minutes after salads were served until we received main course. Waitress kept disappearing into kitchen for 15-20 minutes at a time. Forgot to give us the Thanksgiving leftovers that were part of the price fixe meal. Gave us the wrong check at the end of our dinner. We were there 2 1/2 hours for salads & main course. We took our dessert to go as we had a later engagement. Expected to wait & have patience due to holiday but the subpar service went beyond a busy restaurant.

    Worst everafter 20 yrs. Reserved specific booth 1 month before Thanksgiving. Arrived 10 minutes early. 40 minutes later we are led to table in front of bathrooms. ( Never happened before). There were 3 booths and 2 tables available but not set, that were in the area and we made noise about it. They said you'll be waiting longer. So ...after being long time customers(20yrs), we are going to Mortons and The Palm from now on. However, Spencer our server started that night, killed it and deserves the best.

    Absolutely amazing. This was my 1st visit, I will definitely be back and tell everyone about it! Everyone we came across from the time we walked in was so polite and friendly. Our waiter was outstanding (and patient) it was Thanksgiving Day! A very enjoyable & memorable experience.

    Thanksgiving dinner at Ruth's is a family tradition. This dinner was troubling. Restaurant overbooked, we waited 1/2 hour for our 2:30 pm table. Despite a small fixed menu, turkey entre took an hour to appear. Was cool, as were the green bean side. Our server Mason did an excellent job coping with a bad situation, but the restaurant was understaffed and had called in former wait staff to fill the gap. The slow pace meant we didn't finish until 5:15 pm, and we passed dozens of customers still waiting to be seated for their meals. Overall a disappointing experience.

    It was Thanksgiving and the restaurant was very crowded. It took an hour and a half to get our entrees. The food was luke warm and quantity was plenty. The waiter was attentive but stretched since the restaurant was so busy.

    We should not have chosen a restaurant that specializes in steak for a turkey dinner. We waited for over an hour between our soup and our main course. When the turkey arrived, it was cold. We would recommend for steak, but not for Thanksgiving.

    Food was incorrect, brought out the wrong stuff. Waiter took too long and we kept seeing him on his phone. We had to ask another waiter to bring us what we needed and also to let them know that the food was wrong.

    Excellent meal that was top notch from the beginning to the end. We celebrated our anniversary and all the staff and food were outstanding! Our table was decorated, along with a greeting card which add such a thoughtful touch.

    Excellent dinner. Was there for my wife’s birthday and everyone knew that. Hostess wished her a HB, birthday confetti and a birthday card were at her spot on the table. Enjoyed the food, the service and the long conversation after dinner without undue interruptions. An excellent evening.

    The meal was great. Had a new waitress Ellie, that was learning and had a waiter shadowing her. She was very polite and attentive. I thought the highlight of the night was the manager at the time having to deal with a group of 4 gentlemen. The men finished their meal and complained about anything and everything to get a free meal. The manager deescalated the situation. Terrible group that was making a scene just for a free meal. Pretty sad and the manager handled the situation with class.

    My Birthday celebration was superb. Our server Cristian was thorough and on top of everything. We also had the delightful Bill, see to it that everything went as it should, great personality by the way. Scott, also checked on us, and spoke with us as well. Kevin did an outstanding job on the preparation of all the food, everything was cooked to perfection. It was one of the nicest dinners I've had in a long time.     Worst service I ever received here. Waiter got orders wrong than fought with us, we had to ask for our waiter a few times. I member didn't receive their salad. I spend my birthday and other occasions here every year. Sadly I will not be back.

    Excellent anniversary dinner! We had ribeyes that were done to a perfect medium rare and lobster tail was succulent and not at all rubbery. Service was great and the room was actually quiet, probably because it was a Sunday evening.

    It was my daughter’s 21st birthday. She ordered a strawberry daiquiri. When we paid the bill it said virgin daiquiri. My daughter didn’t notice because she never drinks. The waitress assumed we wanted a virgin daiquiri without asking. It kinda ruined my daughters experience with wanting her first drink on her 21st birthday.

    Enjoyed a family dinner for my son’s 18th birthday at Ruth Chris in Fairfax. For our budget, this restaurant out of reach except for rare & special occasions. Phenomenal experience, one of the few times hopeful expectations were met and/or exceeded. Service and food just exceptional.

    Food was excellent. Service was not to the usual standard. Server only offered information of the temperature of the plates, did not offer any information on any food/dessert items, only drinks. Leftovers were put in small packages, as a result container for meat did not close, the bag tipped, and juices spilled. Poor service!

    Our waiter was Wes and we could not have asked for anyone better! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with kindness and hospitality from the hostess to the manager, everyone went above and beyond especially Wes. We were celebrating a birthday and they decorated the table and even gave my wife a birthday card! This was our very first time to a Ruth’s Chris and we will definitely be making it back!

    No seasoning/flavor in filet. Extremely slow service & pace of meal. Manager, Scott, did nothing to correct issue with steak. Avoid this “fine dining” restaurant. Many better options.
