    We were not impressed this time around. We sat down and it took a while for someone to come over and start us off with drinks. We finally got drinks, which were great. We order the cheese board. It was very small from the last time we order it and the fritto misto had a few pieces. I didn’t see any shrimp or scallops. What a bummer. I order the pork saltbacca. It was okay. It was two small pieces of small and had a strange after taste. The mash potatoes were good. The fried pork chop we also ordered didn’t come with any starches or vegetables. Maybe everything was small because there was a lot of private parties going on. We ordered dessert which was okay. We had the pistachio tartufo, cappuccino, and a double espresso. We ordered lemoncello. I have to be honest I was very hungry after we left and was not impressed at all. The last time we were there it was amazing. Better luck next time.

    Vetro is a GEM! We had a wonderful evening celebrating my husband’s promotion to a new job at work. This is a restaurant that adds special touches I don’t see others do. The team decorated the table, congratulated my husband throughout the evening, and they checked on us to make sure we were having a good time. Our waiter was excellent, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was excellent. The dessert at the end with sparklers- just wow. Seriously- we had a great time and know we’ll be back.

    Easter Brunch was excellent my parents and family enjoyed it very much The service was great and friendly Only note I have is that if you want to order outside the brunch menu it is not allowed. We always enjoy Vetro’s and will be coming back for more soon.

    Brought my friend and her husband for her birthday dinner! My husband and I dine here all the time and knew they would love it. We ordered seven appetizers (some twice), split two entrees and two pastas followed by dessert, espresso and sambucca! A fabulous time was had by all!

    Vitro by Russo’s on the Bay is a favorite of mine for many reasons… The ambiance is soothing with soft lighting. The linens are soft and the table setting is just the right size for a comfortable eating experience. The chef cooks the most delicious appetizers of fried calamari and rice ball specials. The chef is spot on with the entrées of linguine with clams floating (yes floating) in a garlic white wine sauce and a scrumptious pesto spread grilled chicken cutlet with garlicky broccoli rabe and melted mozzarella on crusty bread roll. Their tiramisu is STELLAR!! Server (Mario) is conscientious, pleasant, knowledgeable and charming. Many many thanks from one happy and satisfied patron

    A very pleasant surprise not far from JFK. Unexpected excellence. Great food, extensive choice of good quality wines, and excellent service from the team. We were staying at one of the local hotels around JFK and felt hungry but the reviews of all the hotel restaurants in the area were quite negative and so we widened the search to somewhere within a 15 minute drive and Verto's was an option and after reading the reviews we thought we would give it a try. It even exceeded our expectations. Must try the oven baked clams and Mixto Frito as starters. And on top of it all there was a special offer of 50% off all wines up to $250 per bottle. Couldn't resist and ended up topping off the great food with an amazing wine Tignanello 2018 that worked out at only $100 USD for the bottle. We will be back next time we are in the area for any reason.

    My meal was delicious had Lemon ricotta pancakes and a huckleberry lemonade and an arugula salad all of it was excellent. We were there celebrating a birthday the desserts were also very delicious the service was top-notch our waiter was excellent overall we had a wonderful time exactly what I would expect from Vetro.

    Vetro is our favorite go to restaurant when we want an incredible meal in a comfortable setting. Our favorite time to dine at Vetro is the summer. Their outdoor patio is on the water with great views. Yes, its pricey, but you get what you pay for.

    We were seated in the back room where it was cold. The room was not heated as yet. We were told that the doors were open earlier for a party. They should have turned on the heat after the doors were closed.

    Went for Anniversary dinner. Loved it! Place was beautiful and service was outstanding! All the staff was attentive and Teal, the host gave us a special tour of the patio. We will be back for the summer. Really was worth the money we spent! Enjoy!

    Great service and ambience but the food is less than optimal and overpriced. Everything needed more salt. Seafood salad had seafood but missing garlic, celery, carrots, parleys. Lemon, olive oil. It was tasteless. Entrees we’re similar. Unfortunately it’s the only fine dining in southern queens and it was 12 degrees out. Not on the top of my list but only a backup for special occasions. What a shame
